After my balloon sinuplasty, I developed significant hearing issues in my left ear immediately that I did not have before, including muffled hearing, pressure, and hearing my own voice loudly. When I returned to the office, I explained that I was in pain and having difficulty hearing. Instead of feeling heard or thoroughly evaluated, I felt dismissed. I was told there was nothing wrong with my ear, that I was "stressed" and was told I did not need to come back. As a patient, that was incredibly frustrating and discouraging. When something changes after a procedure, you expect your concerns to be taken seriously and investigated, not brushed aside. I am still dealing with these issues all day, everyday since the surgery, and have required several additional treatments elsewhere. I regret walking into that office and trusting them every day. I hope this feedback encourages the practice to listen more carefully to patients who return with post-procedure concerns.

The issues began from my very first interaction and continued throughout my care. The front desk staff, in particular, consistently came across as rude, dismissive, and condescending. Every interaction felt as though I was an inconvenience rather than a patient seeking medical care. Basic courtesy and professionalism seemed to be in short supply. Beyond the customer service concerns, the office's processes are remarkably disorganized, inefficient, and outdated. There is no patient portal for communication, and orders and results are often handled through handwritten documents and mail. In an era where most medical practices have embraced streamlined digital communication, this office appears stuck decades in the past. My initial treatment experience was mishandled from the start due to incorrectly processed paperwork, resulting in unnecessary trips to the office. For me, that means a 20-mile commute that can take anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. After receiving injections, I experienced a severe adverse reaction. Despite the circumstances, I received no assistance in recovering the money I had paid for medication that was still sitting unused in their refrigerator. Over the course of my treatment, I have undergone extensive testing through this office. Most recently, I was instructed to schedule an appointment simply to pick up a testing kit. I arrived for the appointment only to discover the kit wasn't ready. I had to drive home, return later, and then drive home again--wasting hours of my time. When I finally went to complete the testing, I discovered that critical test tubes were missing from the kit they had provided. Communication has been equally disappointing. I requested a letter explaining my symptoms and medical condition as it relates to eating while traveling. I never received a callback regarding the request. When I finally called to follow up and simply stated my name, I was abruptly told, "She is not writing your letter!" The dismissive and unprofessional nature of that response was shocking. As a fellow healthcare provider, I was appalled by how the request was handled. As a patient, I expected at least a basic level of courtesy and respect. Ironically, while my own concerns often went unanswered, I have spent extended periods sitting in the office listening to staff discuss their personal family frustrations for 20 minutes or more without hesitation. The final straw came when I needed a results booklet that was only slightly larger than a magazine. Despite the significant distance I travel to this office and the fact that mailing it would have been a simple solution, I was told I had to make yet another trip to pick it up. With the amount of time, fuel, and inconvenience this office has already cost me, this felt like one more example of a complete lack of consideration for patients. Healthcare is stressful enough without having to navigate disorganization, poor communication, repeated administrative errors, and discourteous treatment. I am deeply disappointed in the care and service I received and will be taking my healthcare needs elsewhere. I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience.

There were some other symptoms unrelated to allergies and a lab that was abnormal. He sent me for another lab to see what was causing it. Dr Mike was very prompt to call me with the results and what I should do next. I am grateful for his attention to detail and concern for my health. So, when I say "If I could pick only one doctor in the world to be my forever doctor, it would be Dr. Martini!", it means she is the epitome of everything you'd ever want in a doctor...hands down! By the time my insurance approved my referral to Dr. Martini, I had been laid off and had only two weeks before I lost my insurance. I really didn't hold out much hope that she would be able to do anything to help me in such a short period of time. In fact, I was even warned when I booked the appointment that time was not on my side, and I probably would not get more than the initial eval completed...a realistic expectation in today's world of healthcare. That being said, within 36 hrs of the approved referral hitting their desk, I was scheduled and went in hoping something good would come out of it. Dr. Martini saw me asap, knew immediately what needed to be done, completed all the steps in that very first visit that she knew the insurance would require, requested and got an approval from my insurance and had me in surgery within a week. She was meticulous in her approach to handling my surgery, excellent in her communication with me, and has made herself available to me for any questions or concerns. She is that conscientious and concerned about her patients. Dr. Martini is one of the most thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate doctors I've ever met (and I work in healthcare and know some great doctors!) She has personally checked on me and even had me come in earlier than scheduled for a follow up just to be sure I was healing well without charging me a dime. When I say you will not find a better doctor, I mean it. On an aside, Victoria, her medical assistant, is just as compassionate and concerned for their patients as Dr. Martini. You couldn't ask for a better team to place your care in their hands. When I say I will follow them wherever they go, know that I don't say that lightly. If you have a choice, you could not find better care than with them.
