would you like a great example of honesty? We ll here's one…read morefrom my experience with Longhorn Mac Repair. I brought my iPhone into them for the repair of a cracked screen. I had been quoted a price of $250. The higher price was because I requested the use of OEM parts. The gentleman at the shop took it and was giving it a thorough inspection. He asked me what I had been quoted and then said lI think I'm going to save you some money. He peeled of the glass protective cover. the screen wasn't broken, it was the protective cover! Atmosphere: Nothing flashy--just functional, which is exactly what you want when your laptop is on the fritz. Service: Friendly, efficient, and communicative. They're good about quoting before work starts and answering questions clearly (even after hours in some cases), and they'll tell you what can be done same-day vs. what needs parts. I spoke mostly with Patrick and he was very cordial and to the point. These guys know what they are doing, since most of them are former Apple specialists. Notes/Tips: Call ahead or request a quote online if you're on a tight schedule. Bring your charger if the issue seems power-related--it helps them test faster. (General best practice.) Definitely my top recommended for any Apple based repairs needed
