He's always looking to help me save my money so that its not wasted on the unnecessary and has been successful in figuring out problems the dealership couldn't figure out. When I've bought a new (used) car, he let me know what fails on it a lot and what to look out for (a couple years later the thing he said would go, did in fact go, and it was great I knew to keep watching it)! I was so upset with this place that I decided to write my first ever Yelp review. The mechanic said they didn't even put that on the courtesy inspection because all of the focus was on the headlight. So who's telling the truth here? I just said the timing is fishy and left because they had a look on their face not knowing why I would be upset. To sum it up, I didn't have check engine light. 3 hrs later after I picked up my car from this place, check engine light came on. It could be coincidence but extremely suspicious. I went to the another shop, one recommended to me for their integrity, who stated they would look for free and fix whatever they found. Turns out, there was no leak in the first place, and that the dripping had other explanations not requiring any expensive intervention. Chapel Hill Tire has lost my trust. Do not give these fearmongerers and scammers your business. Their shiny new interior is paid for by your dollars, once they scare you into paying for things you don't need. Brought in early on Friday morning, they ordered the part and gave me an 1100 (roughly) dollar estimate. Cam shaft sensors are not easy to get to, btw. They got the part in, got it fixed before the end of the day, and my bill was ~850 bucks. They didn't need to replace one of the sensors, and said to me, why spend the money if you don't need to. Respect that. If you get there early, you can generally wait a short time for simple stuff like oil change or junk. I just drop it off and pick it up after work. Muuuuuuccccccchhhhhh better than going corporate or dealer, by far!

Side Note: Initially I brought the vehicle to Sanders Automotive before I knew of Automotive Solutions. At Sanders Auto (my "old friend" there previously from Chapel Hill Tire, took my car in.
