Great service. Prompt. Courteous. Professional…read more Initially went in to have my front tires replaced due to tread wear. The technician working on my car informed me and showed me first-hand that both of my front rims were bent badly (most likely due to the crappy roads in VA) and referred me to another shop for repair. Greatly appreciated the information and brought to light why my steering wheel would shake badly when going above 40mph. Ended up shifting the newly replaced tires from the front to the back as the tech advised to reduce the "shaking" until i could repair the rim damage. Any other shop would have just replaced the tires as requested and not inform me of the rim damage. Highly recommend their service.

No real explanation, no actual inspection... just straight to replacing it. Luckily, I decided to get a second opinion and went to Discount Tire. They inspected it, repaired it within 30 minutes, and didn't charge me a dime.I understand some tires truly can't be fixed, but this one absolutely could have been, and it honestly felt like I was being pushed toward an unnecessary purchase. I'd recommend people get a second opinion before agreeing to replace a tire here.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!…read more I had an outstanding experience at RNR Tire Express on N. Main Street in Suffolk, VA, and I especially want to recognize Service Representative Baconta Buffalow for going above and beyond. After noticing my driver's side rear tire was low, I filled it and discovered a nail embedded in it. On top of that, my front driver's side tire had an inoperative TPMS sensor. I had an important appointment about 40 minutes away and very little time to spare after work. I stopped by RNR Tire Express hoping they might be able to help on extremely short notice. Not only did they assist me--they exceeded every expectation. Mr. Buffalow listened to my situation, understood the urgency, and immediately coordinated with the technicians to take care of my vehicle. While inspecting my tires, they also discovered internal damage in the tire with the faulty sensor that would have caused a dangerous failure if left unaddressed. Thanks to their thoroughness, they likely prevented a much bigger problem. Despite the last-minute request, they completed all the needed work quickly and professionally. The pricing was more than fair--especially considering the urgent timing--and they even applied a military discount without me asking. I left with peace of mind, safe tires, fully functioning sensors, and tremendous appreciation for the entire team. I highly recommend RNR Tire Express in Suffolk, their skilled technicians, and especially Mr. Baconta Buffalow, who made the entire experience smooth, efficient, and stress-free. This is customer service done right.

In February, I brought my car to an auto shop to get a diagnostic check when it started to make…read morenoises. Turns out it needed the inner and outer tire rods on the front tire replaced and tire struts on the front and a few others to be worked on (hood struts and brake fluid included). The total amount they gave me for repairs was over $2,000. Way too much for yours truly. So I decided to look around for a tire shop that can be able to do this type of work. Luckily, I found this shop after calling around. Would I find luck at the end of the tunnel with this outfit? On two occasions, I stopped here to have the major work done, particularly the left tire rods and tire struts. The best part about this place is they allow you to bring your own parts and all they do is have you pay for labor costs, which are half of what I would've been charged at the auto shop. Besides have major done done, I also requested for the hood struts and brake fluid to be replaced, all for a very reasonable price. They also did a tire realignment. After everything was completed, the car runs much better on the road. No major noises to be reported. Both appointments took just over 2 hours, which was no big deal at all. It's pretty cool to find a reliable place that is reasonable for repairs. Thank God this is one of them. They'll be in my contact list the next time any work needs to be done. Till next time :)

The check in process is automated now making it simpler and faster to check in. Admission is $3.00 per person. When paying for admission, it is important to ask the cashier to pull up the inventory and tell you whether they have the make and model you are looking for. We received the row location for our vehicle. The lot is well laid out and marked so that you can find your pick quickly and get to work removing what you need. We received great customer service throughout the process. You should bring the tools necessary to remove the part you want from the car. They provide a wheel barrel for you to place place parts in and bring them to checkout. I was impressed with the improved check in, the cars they had for sale, the cleanliness of the pick lot and the amount of space allowed between each vehicle to help you get to the part you want without squeezing by.

Joe was a good guy, but the new owner and his wife are terrible! Here is my experience:…read more I took my car there for an exhaust leak under the hood on Tuesday, April 28th. I spoke directly with Tyler the mechanic. I explained to him that I needed to have the car back before Friday, May 1st so that I could drive it to New Jersey so that I could attend a funeral in my family. Tyler agreed to diagnose it but not to start the work so that we would be sure that I would have my car back in time to drive it to New Jersey for the funeral. Tyler kept his word. We spoke by phone on the morning of Thursday, April 30th. He told me that he had diagnosed the problem but had not started the work, that he would be preparing an estimate, and that I could pick up the car at any time. We agreed that I would pick up the car around noon and return it the following week for the actual repair work. So far, so good. However, when I arrived at 1:30 PM to pick up my car, Tyler the mechanic wasn't there and the new owner's wife didn't want to go along with the arrangements that were already made between me and Tyler. She told me that I couldn't take my car because she had not spoke with Tyler about it and that both Tyler and her husband, the owner, were in court. I told her that I had been up all night and that I needed to take my car and go home to get some sleep so that I could get up early to drive to New Jersey, that we had no idea as to how long Tyler would be tied up in court, that I was willing to pay the diagnostic fee, that I was a long time customer there, and that I had always paid my bills. She just wouldn't listen and she just kept insisting that I had to return later for my car for no other reason than because she just didn't know what had been arranged and how much to charge me. This is the kind of inflexible attitude you would expect from a government bureaucrat, not a responsible small business woman. I eventually grew frustrated with her and took a few steps toward my car. She directed one of the employees there to close the garage bay door. This same employee then turned to her and told her the same things that I had been telling her, that arrangements had already been made for me to pick up the car today and return it the following week. She then said something about me owing a diagnostic fee. I told her, again, that I was willing to pay the diagnostic fee. We then went back to the office; I paid for the diagnosis, and I went to my car. The keys were in the ignition. I then backed my car out of the service bay with one of the employees guiding me as I backed it out. This was the safest and best way to back a large car out of the service bay. As I pulled into my garage at home I received a call from the irate owner accusing me of disrespecting his wife, of "grabbing the keys" and of entering the service bay and retrieving my car without proper authorization. None of his accusations were true, but he was so angry and irate that there was no communicating with him. Obviously, I won't be going back there.
