When I walked in, I explained my situation but the person I was talking with told me very bluntly they could only do it if it was a check engine light. It's been a long time since hitting up an AZ and it so happen I had stops at two across town from each other same day. The store is on Haygood not far from Independence Blvd. There is adequate parking for the business. Only very minor debris was seen on walk up. I found the exterior in great shape. The only thing that sets auto parts store apart for me is customer service, they are all basically the same. An acknowledgment entering was great. I asked where something was and the clerk came from behind counter and showed me. I ended up not getting anything. The store was clean and well organized. I would return and appreciate the service.

I looked and looked for a place, i called at LEAST a dozen places who were booked out for weeks, then I fortuitously found Leonard Buildings & Trucks. I wish i had known about this place sooner, between my personal trucks and trailers i would have been here A LOT! When i called, Grayson immediately answered the phone and was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. He said to bring it by and, since it was a little larger than they typically worked on, he could assess it and let me know if they could help. I dropped it off on Thursday and picked it up on Monday! The service was friendly, helpful, and professional. The location was easy to find. Their inventory is impressive. The price was more than fair. I'll be back for any of my truck, trailer, misc. towing needs!

I said that if that was what the installation instructions said, I was good, but I told them that I had a trip planned the next morning and need my vehicle, received call back that another issue was they did not have rubber grommets for the wire run and would have to order them. After this total frustration set in and told them to put vehicle back to original state and I would be up to pickup truck and a refund. I want to state that I have purchased numerous items (trailer, shed, truck covers and running boards in the past from the same business) but his has to have been to worst experience I have had, not sure if it has to do with personnel change or what, but feel I was treated as just another number for a sale so as to what I was told; quote " if we don't make sales we don't feed our family". I reserved it online and picked it up in the store. Here we are, a little over two and a half years later and the alternator dies. No worries, I say underneath the disappointment and frustration of the situation as a whole; the alternator is covered by a lifetime warranty. I can just show them the reservation, take the dead alternator back to the store, and they would be able to scan the barcode, look up the purchase date, verify my information, and replace it under the terms. Sadly, this was NOT the case and is why I will NEVER shop at another NAPA ever again, and will tell everyone I know to avoid them at all costs. I took the defective unit into the store. The unit, I might add, still has the barcode on it. The gentleman at the counter scanned it and said the only alternator of this kind that they sold was back in 2008, and that they would not honor my warranty due to the fact that I've lost the receipt. I even still have the original box and testing readout from when it was sold. NAPA used to stand for quality. Now they simply stand for lying and thievery.

Recently, at around 70k miles, I needed new tires and reached out just to understand my coverage. I left a voicemail -- no response. A week later, I called again and was transferred multiple times. When I finally spoke with someone, I explained I needed an oil change and wanted to discuss my tires. The representative immediately dismissed me and said tire replacement "is not a thing," without even trying to understand what I was asking. Because of that interaction, I took my business elsewhere (Sam's Club), where I received quick and professional service. I still went back to Suttle the next day for an oil change. I arrived at 7:45 AM and was still waiting after 9:00 AM. In total, I've spent over 4 hours across two days dealing with poor communication and long wait times. The issue isn't just the wait -- it's the lack of customer care, follow-up, and basic professionalism. This dealership needs to improve how they treat customers.
