To be fair, the "appointment" was given by a third party, not the business itself. We got there at noon. I have no idea how Heidi got her job, or how she keeps it. (Is she the boss? Sleeping with the boss?) She was quite agitated that we had missed our 10am "appointment" and went from irritated to full bitch mode in about 3 minutes as we tried to explain the mixup. Tried to reschedule for the next week, but she nastily said no, we don't want your business. So we left. Never ever waste your time and money at this sorry excuse for a business. I am giving it one star only because I can't give them anything lower. They deserve a negative 5 stars.

Adsit is a joke, I ordered a Transmission and Torque converter for my w126, it took several months…read moreto finally arrive, and when it did, the transmission was busted and upside down in a broken crate, and the torque converter was fully missing (which I understand was likely not Adist's fault) the problem came when I wanted it returned and replaced, there was a SEVERE lack of communication, but whereas while I was buying the transmission and parts, and sending them 4,000 dollars, they were certainly very helpful and communicative. But as soon as they had my money, they had no reason to speak to me any longer. After a few months, they only spoke to me once my bank sent them a charge dispute notice in the mail on my behalf. Due to the lack of communication, i wanted a full refund, which they tried their best to fight against, but eventually offered to have it "refunded", with a HUGE chunk of my money kept for "restocking" , despite the fact I know that they insured the transmission and torque converter, AND got all their money back, PLUS their transmission back, which they could rebuild, PLUS them trying to keep a massive chunk of my money. In the end, after 5 months of fighting with the help of my bank, I got back all my money, with my bank likely taking the loss for me. Please beware of this company, they have decent but overpriced parts from what I could see, but if you are ready to wait several months to get it, and likely have to deal with these uncommunicative baboons if there is the slightest problem, it might be worth checking out other mercedes part sellers.

I recently had a great experience with the Small Engine Warehouse. My Dad needed a new Briggs and…read moreStratton engine for a 15 year old craftsman log splitter with an odd shaft length and only a three bolt pattern versus four. I tried to find something compatible searching high and low through Briggs catalogs, web sites and thought I found a few good options for $350 on Amazon. I called 3 places before spending that much to see what they thought and S.E.W. instantly had a model number and it was listed for only $115. I was hesitant because they came up with the model so quickly and everyone said they couldn't find a compatible engine for me. Needless to say the bolt pattern was identical and the odd 1-13/16" shaft was a perfect length like the original. It arrived from Fedex in no time and is up and running in minutes. I'm very happy that they not only sold me a good priced replacement motor but they knew which motor I needed when other large engine warehouses had no idea. I'll be back if need be in the future. Thank you guys

I almost never write reviews, but my experience with Small Engine Warehouse was bad enough that I…read morefelt it was worth sharing. To be clear, I did not purchase anything from this company, because the interaction ended before I was comfortable placing an order. I called looking for a replacement for my Kohler engine. I gave them the complete specification information from my existing engine and explained that I had been unable to find that exact engine number. The person I spoke with said they would look it up and determine whether they had a compatible replacement. After checking, I was told they had a matching engine available and was given a price. The price was higher than I had hoped, but that wasn't the problem. Before spending that kind of money, I simply wanted to know exactly what engine I would be buying. I asked for the engine model number. I was told it was a Kohler KT735 from the Kohler 7000 Series. I explained that KT735 is only the main model designation. With these engines, the dash/specification number matters because it identifies the particular configuration of the engine. That was the very information I needed in order to determine whether the replacement was actually correct for my application. So I asked again: What is the complete engine number, including the dash/spec number, of the engine you are trying to sell me? The response was essentially, "I don't know what to tell you. It's a Kohler KT735." I tried to explain again that I needed to know the complete number of the product before purchasing it. At that point, the representative hung up on me! That is an extraordinary way to handle a prospective customer who is simply asking what product the company is proposing to sell him. I wasn't arguing about the price, demanding a discount, or asking an unreasonable technical question. I was asking for the identifying information of an engine I was considering purchasing. If a company cannot--or will not--tell me the complete model/specification number of an engine before taking my money, I will never purchase from this company and will be sure to share my experiance with anyone concidering to purchase from them.
