I called to verify they had it, asked what time they closed and I was told 8pm and I headed down there from my job in Ft Lauderdale. When I arrived around 6:30 the office was closed but I was able to talk to the attendant through the door and that's when I learned that they closed at 5:30. I explained what happened and that I would leave a deposit for the part and the attendant let me in, looked up the part and had one of the guys (Maestro) bring the latch for me in a few minutes. I really was expecting to have to go back the next day but was pleasantly surprised. Someone who may have been a manager/owner even apologized for the confusion and I said I was just grateful they helped me on the spot so no apology was needed. A great experience to be sure! Best car repair shop in Miami!!!!…read more My family has been going here for over a decade to service all manner of European cars On the contrary dealing with Mercedes service is a nightmare and the amount they charge for simple repairs, or in some cases service that should be covered, is absolutely outrageous. Specialty charges a fraction of what Mercedes charges and more importantly: they actually fix the issue! Not to mention your car is usually there a lot less time than at the dealership - usually a couple days at most for just about any issue you might have. Often times I've taken my car there to make sure that the constant Mercedes warnings that appear on the dashboard are in fact, not a product of any serious car issue, but usually something to do with the sensors being out of place or some technical car issue that isn't the catastrophe the warning indicators suggest... In these situations, we are not only normally in and out within the day, but often times they don't even charge if it is a simple fix for them as they have more integrity than any mechanic I have been to! ‍

There were 2 ladies at the reception desk who were less than friendly. We had been to a couple other places before for an estimate and they were super friendly in comparison (Treads near Dadeland and Perez Auto on Bird Road). After waiting one hour (they had told us no more than 30 minutes) I saw the car parked so I asked one of the ladies the status. She said, very huffily, we are trying to contact bmw for the parts price. This without telling us what the issue was. Well, in the end the cost was close to 1200 for non bmw parts. The other place (Perez) quoted us $800. And they took less than 15 minutes for a free estimate. These people wanted $45 for the estimate but they didn't tell us that before. Of course we didn't pay. And we took the car to Perez. You really do have to get at least 3 estimates. The first two never charged us and took less than 15 minutes. I do not think I will go to Miller Auto Care in the future.

I did end up getting two new tires - but they were so informative, answering all my questions, and physically showing me the car/tire so I could learn for the future. When it came to replacing the tires, they told me all the different price points and, even pointed out what tires I currently had (even when they were one of the cheaper options). Recently, my son had a five-inch muffler tip installed at the shop, and unfortunately, it later fell off. When we brought the issue to the owner's attention, there was no hesitation and no excuses. He immediately ordered a replacement muffler tip, paid for it himself, and offered to install it at no charge. Mistakes can happen in any business, regardless of how good they are. What separates a great business from the rest is how they respond when something does go wrong. Castellanos Muffler and Tire handled the situation exactly the way a reputable business should. It's refreshing to see a company that takes pride in its work, stands behind its name, and genuinely takes care of its customers. It's no wonder they've been in business for over 30 years. Five stars and highly recommended to anyone looking for a trustworthy muffler and tire shop in the area.
