They replaced the engine in my old truck and it started throwing all kinds of codes and stalling at…read morehighway speeds. Brought it to them again and it took them a week to replace the crankshaft sensor. Okay I understand it was difficult to get it out. But it did nothing and they still charged me $$$$. Bought a cheap code scanner and figured out I have maf and knock sensor codes. Replaced the MAF sensor myself and boom no more stalling. Something that took them many days to fail to figure out. Knock sensors are much more difficult on 5.3L so I had to take the intake off. Intake manifold bolts are all torqued differently by them. The hose to brake booster had no clamp on the end of it so if the hose pops off I would kinda lose brakes. They also put cheapest no name knock sensors in it. No voltage reading with my multimeter when you knock on it. Replaced with AC Delco. Now my truck finally works well. That's all you need to know about Bob's Automotive.

Visited All Star Muffler just last week ... they were able to squeeze me in the afternoon after I…read morespoke to them after 2pm... the service manager Dave was very friendly polite and upfront with what was wrong and how they proposed to repair my exhaust system by actually showing me the problems while the car was up on the lift... something none of the other 3 shops did... instead of saying that the whole exhaust system was rotted out and needed replacing from the exhaust header back for $3k+... he replaced a down tube to the original Catalytic Converter and another connector to the rear convertor with 2 hangars for $248.. all with a 2 year warranty... Highly Recommended 5 stars!!!
