Broad just down the road from SunnySide Chevy and Abraham Auto Mall through another vendor that put a bedliner in for my 2022 Silverado truck After years in the car business, you get to realize when you find a good place, a good aftermarket a "good"specialty location. Part of it is about the atmosphere when you walk in, part of it is about the product, A big chunk of it is about the employees and of course what they deliver. The superstar of this location is Michelle who handles all things in the front of the shop. Very personable and very knowledgeable. First time I made a purchase for my truck was a tonneau cover and she helped me pick out the best one. We made the appointment and the truck was finished on time and the tonneau cover performs very well. When I decided to do Weathertech floomats, I immediately thought of this location, checked prices before I went in, and saw that they were priced comparably. Michelle ordered them and they were delivered the next day. Michelle called and let me know they were in. Great communication! Two perfect transactions. Really happy with this business. If you're looking for a locally-owned,small business Auto Details is the place to go. And I will tell you that the parking lot is usually full and the backyard is also full. I went to auto details for a tonneau cover. The sales person went over all the different types of covers for my truck. He answered all my questions. I never felt pressured to buy right then. I ended up going back the next day and purchasing a cover. It was ordered and came in within a few days. I was notified and set up an appointment to have it installed. It was done within a half hour. My original compliant was never resolved and the owner's responses are ALL avoiding the FACT that he is not standing behind his 5 year warranty. He continues to avoid the fact that the original installation was botched and then patched to cover the mistake. I have posted pictures to point this out. Talking about the manufacturer and the product has nothing to do with installation. From what I know, these are not employees that tint windows for him but rather someone he contracts to do the job for him. This counters his claim of 'years of window tinting experience'. I can hire someone too. Wait a minute.... I did that and it didn't work out. Offering to replace the rear window tint after having done nothing while having the vehicle all day shows what his intentions were, to continue to hide the poor installation as long as he could. The more I questioned the color and the slow response, the waste of my day for 0 changes to the appearance, the angrier he became. My writing the Attorney General and BBB are all within my rights as a consumer to seek assistance with locating a possible resolution to issue with a local business/company. Also, writing a review on Yelp helps to ensure other consumers do not get the same poor treatment. I have not written my co-workers. I shared my experience with 2 of my friends at work. This typically works in favor of a good establishment. In this case, he is not happy about me sharing my poor experience with his company. Also, these friends did not visit him. One did write him on social media to state that he will no longer be recommending his services to any other friends. Reading on other forms of review sites, Yelp and Facebook for example, the owner is continually rude to those that question his business practice. He is a hot-head and cannot fathom anyone disliking the service, so much so that every complaint turns to an argument with these customers. I agree with them and my reviews are an attempt to keep this from happening to other good consumers. If I knew that the owner would not stand behind his 5 year warranty, I would have never purchased tint and had it installed by Auto Details. read more

If you have no other choice but to do business with Auto Details I suggest taking pictures of your exterior/interior before dropping your car off or even getting the manager/owner to do a walk thru of it to have proof of the physical state of your vehicle. This may help avoid the "debate" of scratches on your vehicle. Be advised: The owner manager will put your name on a list of "problem" customers. (Which I was informed mine is now on.) You may possibly be denied service which is not the worst thing to happen to you. After installation was done and take repossession of the car I do a quick walkthrough. I have to push a rear panel next to back window in to make it flush.(I thought a bit odd, but no big deal.) In the driver's seat the rear view mirror was not pointed toward the back window but down toward the driver's seat. (an inconvenience, not a huge problem just poor service.) After mentioning the rear view mirror as poor customer service the response I got was: "No one would notice if we put it back the way it was." I had to wipe up a black/brownish goo thicker than water from my floor mats and on my rear passenger door panels. The manager's response to that was something to the extent of..."It's just dirty water." Followed by, "well, your car was kinda dirty already." As for the scratches on the plastic interior (see pictures) the manager stated he could tell me a million of things wrong with my car and how these scratches couldn't possibly be caused during tinting. How the tint and the light bring out things never noticed before. In the end, They had my car for 7 hours for a window tint job and $200.00 plus tax. I got: a hollow apology for having to clean up the black/brownish goo and was offered a detail clean which I refused. Discount on installation was quickly denied! A window tint job that has 2 windows with a small ripple in the tint. One large deep scratch on front passenger plastic interior next to door seal and seat from they entered or exited. 3 four inch long thin scratches on plastic under back window. Time wasted/$200.00 gone for what looks like a rush job/extremely poor service I would not recommend this establishment. read more

I went yesterday to Auto Details to find a truck bed cover. The man was so nice an informative for me. Showing me the difference in truck bed hard covers available. He didn't rush me at all and showed me the good and bad of each item. They have the items physical right there in front of me, I could see and touch each item before buying it. I felt more informed about my purchase and very happy with the mans knowledge of each different item I ask about. I am going this morning to have them put it on for me I am very happy. The price also was like half the cost of another place I was looking at buying form ...but the other place didn't have the items on display so I could see what the item would look like before I would have had to order it or bought it. I would not suggest going here. I have had alot of work done by auto details. I went back and talked to the owner about some faulty work he did and he told me he would not do any more work for me. But at the end of the conversation he said he would still do the warranty work. Well my father just bought a new truck and I called them to have window guards installed for his birthday present and the person I talked with said it was not a problem I showed up with my father on his birthday and the owner would not do the work and he started an argument with us. All because I called him out on faulty work. this business is far from being and honest business who stands behind there work. read more

I had window tinting scheduled for late winter. We got an unusually cold snap and Auto Details called me to reschedule due to the -10 degree weather. We did it the next weekend. I had one issue with installation. I took it back and they took care of it without question and made it 100% right. They checked my rear defroster to make sure it was working for free to boot. A few years ago I had Auto Details install a Viper security system for me. It was a unit I got elsewhere, but didn't feel competent to install myself. The appointment, the install and the follow up went flawlessly. I couldn't have been happier. Fast forward a few years and I crushed one of the remotes. The other one got broken while I was trying to change the batteries. Again, I came in to Auto Details with two remotes I purchased from Amazon and they graciously offered to program them for me. At the same time, they discovered that my siren was no longer functioning properly. They needed to order that part, which they did. It came in in two days and we scheduled another appointment. The car was in and out in under 30 minutes each time and I can't believe how little they charged me. They were more than fair, and now my system is back working as well as ever.
