Yan personally installed the part for me, then, removed the error codes generating the errant System Restraint messages. I learned to never pay Dealer retail parts prices, when you replace the problematic part with a working part from a salvaged auto. There is nothing wrong with a salvaged part, but tremendous savings. Showed up and the road felt a little sketchy but when I called, they were very willing to direct me to their office all the way at the end of the street (my navigation told me it was further up the road). Quickly found the part, no bait-and-switch there like some places would do. It was located in their New York yard but they had it actually pulled and shipped all the way down to Keyport, New Jersey by 11AM the next morning (note I came to put a deposit on the parts an hour before closing the day before). No extra charge for shipping, price was good, the parts matched exactly what I needed and even came with an extra set of valve covers. Printed receipts and gave me a paper trail for every step of the transaction, so I felt they were trustworthy. The only reason I give it four stars is because they weren't willing to negotiate the price at all and had a little bit of a rushed attitude on the phone somewhat. The prices were very fair though; some yards like to charge over MSRP for used junker parts, but these were right on par with what I'd expect to pay at a u-pull-it yard, but I didn't have to worry about pulling or shipping at all. Yazan Q ("customer service manager") put the wipers on my car the same day of purchase. While applying the wipers on my car, he broke the left windshield wiper. He went inside the store and got something to put the wipers on. I believed it was brand new wipers. However, I learned it was a temporary fix because the next time it rained the left windshield wiper broke. I'm extremely unsatisfied. I went to the store today to exchange my product because he sold me something that was broken and ineffective. He said there was nothing he could do for me. How is it possible that he had no issue charging me for something he broke but will not fix the issue? There is a lack of customer service at this establishment. I was sold something that was ineffective and the Yazan Q admitted to this. This is a fraudulent business practice. I would like to speak to someone regarding this matter. Therefore I emailed customer service at AutoZone and called the district and regional managers. To date, I have not replied any reply. According to there posted policy, a store credit can be issued on returns/exchanges of a purchase does not meet the criteria at the discretion of the manager. Yazan Q stated "there is nothing he can do because of the policy". He admits to breaking the wipers during installation but is unwilling to take ownership of the situation, understand my needs as a customer and provide service the will satisfy that need. My issue has remained unresolved therefore my views of AutoZone remain unsatisfactory at this time.
