A Whole Lot of Silence--Jiffy…read moreLube's 'Worry-Free' Pledge is MIA Store #03753 - 474 Singing Oaks, Spring Branch, TX I took my well-maintained Toyota Tundra to this Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change. Three miles later, the engine seized. Eurasian Auto Repair confirmed the oil was never replaced--bone dry. Total damage: $11,500. THEIR REPRESENTATIVE / DISTRICT MANAGER, MICHAEL GONZALES, reviewed their own footage and admitted fault. But instead of a proper fix, I was OFFERED $5K to walk away OR a used engine from a shop with NO PAPERWORK, NO WARRANTY, and ZERO TRANSPARENCY --REJECTED by every reputable dealer I consulted. Retired from the USAF after over 30 years, I've been without this transportation since April and have had to hire out work I would normally do in maintaining my home (recent water heater replacement) and rental homes. THE OWNER OF THIS JIFFY LUBE LOCATION (nameless) refuses to engage, deferring me (in a GOOGLE POST REVIEW) to MICHAEL GONZALES, who has ignored three emails requesting written estimates from businesses of his choosing. His final offer? $6K to walk away. To make matters worse, they submitted a false invoice to my credit card company claiming the oil had been changed. Their brake fluid upsell was also baseless--confirmed by a test strip before I left. I visited the store in person. The manager said he informed Mr. Gonzales, but "can't make him respond." The owner replied to my Google review with a generic, copy-pasted message directing me back to the same representative who continues to ignore me. I've tried to resolve this reasonably, through documented repair at a dealership with a real warranty, a suitable replacement vehicle. That's what accountability looks like. So far, Jiffy Lube has chosen evasion over integrity. You'd think Jiffy Lube would want to avoid public exposure and time in court for such gross negligence. Or perhaps they're so accustomed to these cases, they've determined it's easier to ignore and wait out those they've harmed, especially the elderly. I'm now reaching out to Jiffy Lube's corporate office. I would like to ask their President and CEO, LUKE BYERLY: Do you stand by your "Leave Worry Behind®" pledge -- the promise of worry-free car care from trustworthy technicians -- or not? Because right now, the only thing I've been left with is worry, silence, and a destroyed engine.

    This place is a joke! Customer service is terrible. Pulled up and had to go next door to purchase…read morea filter and then told there was 40 to 50 minute wait. Asked if i could go get my car wash across the street and keep my spot in line and was told "Yeah Sure". Come back and was told that i was at the back of the line and the policy is 1st come 1st serve.
