He was very informative and gave me the heads up about the wait time for my service. He also advised me that they don't hold a specific bay for "appointments". That was helpful information because in the future, I will just show up early instead of trying to make an appointment. He sent me a link to view past appointments and to check on the status of my vehicle while it was being serviced. He gave me a few recommendations of service for my vehicle based on the history because it had not been done yet. Once my vehicle was done, he called me to let me know it was ready. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience ever, but I can say this was probably the best one I've had despite the two hour wait. I can appreciate being told how long the wait is before I walk away to be able to decide if I'd like to come back a different day or just stay. I was a little frustrated the first time I went in - I didn't understand the system. They did a diagnostic check, which took about 90 minutes. They identified several problems with my truck. I assumed that they would have repaired what I took it in for. I had to schedule another appointment for the actual repair. This was a misunderstanding on my part, so I don't fault them - I was just expecting the repair to be done on my initial visit. My only complaint is they are busy (a good problem for them!) and they usually schedule about a week out.

The WORST service I have ever experienced at a Valvoline…read more First and foremost I will give credit where credit is due. Even though Valvoline does not offer engine diagnostics, the lead crew member did take the time to speak with us about a minor concern we had questions about and gave us recommendations on where we could go for a diagnostic and mentioned a few things that could be causing said concern. He alone is the reason this location is not getting one star. As for the other two crew members, they were horrible. The first guy kept making derogatory and racist jokes and would not stop talking to us to start the oil change even though we were clearly trying to put an end to the one sided conversation he thought was okay. Halfway through the actual oil change, he deferred finishing it to the other crew member. She refused to finish the last step of the oil change in order to create a longer line of cars behind us and discourage more people from pulling in; this is not just me speculating or making assumptions, we heard them say this themselves. My guys, if you're going to intentionally hold up business, at least try to not make it so obvious by walking aimless circles around our car or being on your phone directly in front of us for a literal five minutes straight before closing up our hood with no further adjustments. Instead of the fifteen minute oil change Valvoline used to pride itself on, this one ended at over thirty minutes purely because of staff laziness. I've never had an issue with a Valvoline before, but if this location insists on hiring such disrespectful and unprofessional crew members, I will not return here. Go support another location or business. Your time and money are not worth it here. They made that abundantly clear.

So it came as a big "oh no" when the place I use for oil changes stopped carrying my brand after all these years. I told them, "so long", and started looking for a new place. Much to my surprise, the nearest shop to my house was the answer. I drove up and was greeted immediately by a friendly face. I told him what I was looking for, and he was happy to fix me up. Service was quick and thorough. I would describe this place as friendly, accommodating, competent, and appreciative. Then, upon paying, found this place to be significantly cheaper than my old place. It looks like I have a new place for all my oil changes:-)

Alarming noise from our brakes caused me to need an urgent check of the cause. The ease of…read morescheduling on the website and 7-day a week service made this my choice. As such, my first appointment of the day was not quick with many others waiting at the same time. I was prepared to stay on site and wait. My husband needed the truck to get in to wake 40 miles away the next day. The young man who checked me in described the results in a very polished and professional manner. Only thing was he claimed the rotors were "virgin" because a clip was not broken. I know we had some work done by my son. So that was a bit of showmanship. The availability of financing clinched the deal. Synchrony card with no interest if paid off in a year. Highway robbery if you do go longer at 30 some percent. But I really was not in the position to completely redo brakes and the front brake assemblies. So the flexibility of doing it in payments made it possible.
