I came in looking for help, there was a line. Only one employee and a few people needing assistance. I came looking for a gasoline/oil mix for my lawnmower and they didn't have it. Cool thing is the gentleman recommended we go elsewhere; I had to go to Home Depot to find what I was looking for. Stupid place. I selected all I needed for a great car wash, and saw they had one line for everyone. I didn't need to consult with anyone or to look up a part, yet there I was expected to wait in a line 8 people deep with people waiting to get parts. There were others in the same position as me in line, obviously ready to pay and get out. Female manager was there and instead of saying something like "anyone ready to pay, come to this register" she just let the line form and get longer. I dont have 30 mins to waste just to wait behind people still looking for a product to be pulled when I already have my selections ready to go. I left my stuff on the counter and walked. Overall I can't say too much about this Autozone. The staff is friendly and they try to be helpful most of the time but it's hit and miss sometimes. The same goes for the number of employees, sometimes not enough with a huge line and frustrated patrons and other times 4 employees standing around. Most of the time they're stocked and I can find what I'm looking for and I noticed when it's not busy it's hard to find parking so either those are broken down cars or the staff is parking in the front. read more

These guys are completely incompetent. I come in to have my battery checked. Oh, it's dead. So I tell them I want to buy a battery. They come out and look at my car and say we won't install it. Since my battery is dead I ask them to jump it. No we won't do that either. What a complete waste of time. Now I have to wait for roadside assist to come jump it again so I can go to a decent place! I walked in to AutoZone #0585 with an optima red top battery purchased 12/2016 and said I have a dead battery. The gentleman behind the counter said "let's test it, set it here". He tested it with a handheld tester and said it has 4.5v but it doesn't say it's bad, I need to charge and retest it. I asked how long that would take and he replied about an hour. I said I don't have time for that, just refund the battery. He said we can't do that because the machine doesn't say it's bad. He then said let me ask the manager and went to the back. The manager came out and his first words were; "we can't exchange it, we have to charge it and test it" and again I stated that I do not have time for them to charge and retest. I asked for a refund and he said we can't refund it and then looked at the first gentleman that was helping me and said "just exchange it" and as he was walking away he said " I'm not dealing with drama today". I'm taken back by the treatment and I thought just let it go they are replacing it. Another manager (Tracy W ) comes out from the back and started lecturing me about the battery return policy. I said this has already been resolved why are we having this conversation??? She was rude and condescending and talking over me and kept saying thank you have a nice day as I was speaking. I'm still in disbelief of how I was treated, I would be happy to return this battery and take the 177.00 somewhere else that treats customers like they care. The first words out of a mangers mouth "we can't" then I get lectured by the other manager about "policy" that was already explained to me two times before she got involved then repeatedly speak over me and to have a leader of a location say " I'm not dealing with drama today" as he walked away is pretty telling and should be addressed if you care about your customers returning. I called the regional office here in Texas and explained what happened and the person on the phone said the DM with call you within the hour, it's been two hours and I haven't heard from anyone so I decided to send this message and post it on yelp. read more

I went here on Tuesday the first on January. I needed my battery checked and as bad luck would have it my check engine light came on. I went inside for some car wash supplies and I am not sure what her name was exactly Vanessa C, or Valerie C. I definitely remember the last initial was a "C" To call this women an incompetent moron would give her too much credit. It was too much to come look at my battery let alone my check engine light. To top it off she looked hungover and stoned. Kept having to ask her the same questions more than 3 times. I left and went down the street to Advance Auto Parts where they treated me better and I got a new battery and a gas cap which took care of my engine light. Also do not bother calling the numbers on the door that allows you to get a hold of their District Manager he never returned my call even after leaving 4 messages. read more

Amazing service and great attitude! I walked in on a Saturday morning and was helped right away by the manager herself! She tested my battery, explained the situation, and even showed me the readout on the testing equipment so I could see she wasn't telling me any BS. I needed a battery so she had me rung up, battery installed, and on my way in 15-20 min!!! Best service ever! It was also very refreshing to see a woman working at a car place which is very rare. I've been to this store a couple of times and have been very happy with the service. I usually go right up to the counter for assistance to see if they have what I need. They are always attentive and help me right away. Today I went to get a replacement for my headlight. There's maybe 12 different staff members at this location and 10 of them are awesome! Very friendly and helpfull. My favorite is the latin lady and Storm is pretty funny. This is my favorite Autozone by far. read more
