Horrible customer service. Rude staff. We use to purchase all our batteries there. Not anymore. Their warranty is a joke! They give excuses as to why it is not covered. I had 4 RV batteries that were completely dead. They helped me get them from the truck, put 4 new ones on the cart and helped me load them. I was there for a total of 7 minutes and headed out spending less than I had planned and very friendly service. I highly recommend. read more

Tony Snyder and his team are FREAKING PHENOMENAL! I am a single woman who'd been getting stuck every other day with a dead battery and no cables. I went there to see if the battery was under warranty (it wasn't), and wound up buying a jump starter. Tony helped me the first visit by removing the screw the previous owner had put thru the post by shaving down and shanking my post and terminal cable which I thought was above and beyond of him. I was happy and impressed with my purchase though on very slim income I prayed that since battery was out of warranty, that would all I need buy and the shank would keep me from overusing the starter. Unfortunately I soon returned again when it seemed the stater I'd bought from him was bad, and he informed me that if my battery was still dying let's check that, for the starter was fine when he checked it for me that day, and likely simply just using a LOT of juice each time I had used it to start my car, post-screw-removal/shanking. So he removed my battery and installed for me a loaner battery, telling me he'd need to keep my battery for testing and maybe a few days longer for extended testing. At that time I asked what would the financial damage be if it turns out my battery was indeed toast and not just having terminal connection issues, and he priced me out at what is an affordable battery especially with the WONDERFUL SERVICE Tony and his team provided me thus far, but would for my budget be a choice between gas, food or battery. He assured me let's test and go one step at a time, so I left with the loaner battery, which worked well and I didn't need to jumpstart whatsoever! About a week later Tony called and informed me my battery was indeed failing testing, but told me to go ahead and use the loaner battery for as long as I needed, as he was sensitive to my issue with my affordability issues, and may I say he was not only that but also classy in how he basically told me "I get that you're poor and while I can't change the price of the battery for you, you use ours as long as it takes so you don't go without food and lights while still being able to have use of your vehicle." THAT was...so unexpected, especially in these days where customer service is of a different kind than that which I gave/used to receive in the past. Knowing service like that exists in a world where we now see signs telling customers "please be patient, the whole world is short staffed and we are human too!" and yet customers can be selfish and still act a fool and give the workers a hard time/day? AMAZING. Finally about a week ago I was blessed to have gotten the money together to get the loaner back to Tony, and his crew installed for me my own new battery. That there is a FIVE year warranty, and even an invite to have it tested free every six months or so to monitor its health in the interim, is very impressive. The guy that put my battery in for me since Tony's hand had been injured was just as kind and efficient and etc as Tony, and I appreciate his working fast as that day I'd originally planned to price the new battery for it was 100 degrees and I had dogs in the car who couldn't sit without A/C more than ten minutes. In short, the guys at this store have a great leader in Tony and for more than just product knowledge and how to install a battery. I think that you-whoever-sees-this would benefit greatly from giving Tony and his crew recognition and make them your exemplary training store for new to the company crew and managers, if they're not that already. And ;) a big fat raise for being so awesome is never anything bad to give them either! Thank you again Tony and crew! If I could give -5 I would. They are liars for sure. Have a battery under warranty and have have had 3 different places try to charge it. Moe these fools Want to waste my time trying to charge again rather than replace it. They say they have a "special charger". If it takes a special charger shouldn't we be concerned? I bought a MT-35 battery in NY in January 2015, and it died unexpectedly today (11/14/16). I was able to jump my car and drove to the Interstate All Battery Center in Selma, TX where Juan was awesome! He saw my receipt and the date on the battery, and immediately offered to replace it since it was showing signs of corrosion and other indicators that it was failing even though the battery tested "good." Juan and Interstate held true to the warranty, replacing and installing the battery free of charge...Juan's customer service was exceptional! Thanks! read more

Tony, the assistant manager absolutely could not care less about his customers or potential customers. Tried to buy batteries for weeks from them Advance Battery took care of us in a day and they were pleasant doing it. Tony and the staff at Interstate just don't care about a small shop that only orders batteries a dozen at a time. read more

His sincere interest in making things right was evident and for that reason, I will continue to recommend this store and brand. Very bad service. Had one of the employees damage my bf's truck while installing a battery and didn't even apologize. The employee also acted like he didn't do it when my bf clearly saw him. Then Jerry the manager right off the back acted like if he was lying. He didn't want to listen and just wanted to just push it under the rug like if they had nothing to do with it. This place always treats me right. The staff are so darn polite to the customers and to each other. The explanations of products, work, and warranty are clear and simple. I bought two 5-year batteries for my diesel truck, and just had to get one of them replaced inside the warranty window. They changed it out and restarted my warranty! They tested the other battery 3 different ways and assured me it was strong with a clear print out from the test device. I know if there is a problem later they will have me covered. I have been going to this shop for years, and the experience is always beyond positive. read more

The customer service and staff here is outstanding! Jerran was so sarcastic and funny that it made my day wayy better than it was. I was having a really bad day that day, with my car not starting and all. They got my battery changed out with a new one in no time, and assured me that if i ever was scared about a problem with it, they would check it for free. I arrived prepared to replace two batteries in my diesel truck. Unfortunately, once i removed the battery cables it turned out that I did not have the correct socket for my ratchet and extension to remove the mounting bracket. Did they let me borrow theirs? Nope. When I put it all together again to go and get a 10 mm socket, I needed a jump start. Did they offer to give me a jump? Nope. When I called to let them know why I would not be returning, the manager explained to me that insurance requirements prevented them from lending me a socket. Really? To be fair, I have experienced better service in the past. Juan was very helpful when I needed a battery for my portable jump starter. I have bought several batteries at this location in the past. However, it is unlikely I will return to this store. There are other Interstate battery sources. I recommend Firestone on Pat Booker Road. I received a much better price there as well. read more
