I can usually find whatever car parts I need at one of the many Advance Auto Parts stores in the area. Most often I go there to buy "Ice". It's a wonderful product for washing and waxing your car. I love my car to have a beautiful clean shine that catches your eye. Ice does the job. It applies quite easily, smells great, and after I buff it in by hand, it looks marvelous! It's around $9.99 for a quart. This is enough for three washes after you cut it with water. I just love Ice! I have a black car and it shines beautifully and brightly! Advance also sells the paste wax made by Ice. (They are both made by Turtle Wax). Kudos to Advance for providing me a place to find these fantastic products!!! read more

Needed a new headlight. They looked it up in the computer and handed me a headlight they assured me would work. I took it home and tried to install it, but it didn't fit. When I went to return it, they refused the return because the package was open. Buyer beware - they will not stand behind their recommendations. If it is wrong, at least in my case, they will just say over and over there is "nothing I can do" when you try to return it (twice in my case). read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I just wanted to recommend that you don't come to this location, and go to the one at 19363 instead. The lady working here (I think she's hispanic) is very rude and unhelpful. I called the store earlier in the day and they told me they were able to install a new battery in my type of car. The lady told me she was not going to install the battery because she doesn't do my type of car (VW Jetta). I mentioned that I called earlier about it and she said "no we don't do that." I went to the 19363 location and they easily installed a new battery in my car. they are just lazy and do not want to put the work in. I was initially weary when I read the yelp reviews on this store but I needed a battery. I walked in and was greeted by manager who got me the right battery and had her tech install it within 5 min . These guys have always been pretty helpful with what you're looking for. They know where everything in the store is and if they don't have it I'll let you know what to do and where to go. They help with putting in your wiper's. They're also able to look up things on their computer to see if it will suit your car. We bought a steering wheel cover and they were able to see if it fits our car. I've also bought covers for my tire pressure air gauge thing - let's be real I don't know a lot about cars. I hardly ever go here and decided to head on out and do so we headed out for parts for my scion front bumper. Got inside walked to counter two young guys standing there and I presented my issue and with out skipping a beat Jordan jumped into action with a great attitude and outgoing personality and walked us over to the place and showed us what we needed. Got it all and then a last minute thought of something we needed for another car and we weren't sure what it was.. Jordan asked us the car here and we said but of course it is and we all took a field trip to the parking lot for Jordan to yet again impress us with his knowledge. He explained all he needed to even with all the heckling we sent his way and POW we had all we needed and with the knowledge of what to do next and when we arrived at home and did it, it all worked out and we couldn't have been more happy to have had this experience. So thank you Jordan for the fun and most of all for finding and giving us the parts an knowledge needed to complete out task and keep our cars on the street safe. My only qualm is their so-called rebate offer. To my amazement, the rebate gift card was to purchase form their own store. Unlike most rebate offers that send you a prepaid MasterCard or Visa to spend at any store, this one was an Advance Auto Card. IOW, I am forced to spend at their store, which in turns gives them back their own money. LOL! Very wise of them to say the least. read more

I must say, I have been buying products from various Advance locations for quite a few years now, and this particular most commonly. I have usually had good service, hence why I am a returning customer. I must say, I will NEVER return to this, or any other Advance location after the treatment received, by of all people, their store manager, Bob. What a MONSTER!!! He was completely disrespectful, refusing service and a response for literal no reason (I was working with a different agent this whole time, he wasn't even aware of the problem). Even after speaking with corporate, who had referred me to him to have this transaction executed, he still refused me any assistance or service and proceeded to YELL and say DEGRADING things to me, in front of other customers, who voiced their concern for my mistreatment as well. Needless to say, after 15 minutes of being berated and corporate service not being able to provide me an answer besides "try another location", I left the establishment to complete my transaction at a different provider. I CANNOT believe these are the type of people running stores. I work in Customer Service, and I have never seen someone so casually disrespect a patron. The store at 21755 SR 7- Boca Raton, FL has the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! They should shut this store down!! I bought a pair of battery terminals because I thought mine were bad. Turns out that they weren't. But when I attempted to return them, UNUSED AND WITH A RECEIPT, Chandler said that they were used and would not allow me to return them. He could not give me a legitimate reason why he thought they were used because they had no signs of wear, dirt or oil, not to mention that they were in the original packaging. He even threatened me when I asked him to show me how the terminals were used. Even if I have to drive 10 extra miles to get to Autozone, I'll NEVER use Advanced Auto Parts again. I don't write reviews very often, but I have to share my experience. I think this store deserves to be shut down, or at the very least get new general managers. Let me tell you about my experience at this location. First, I walked in around 9am on Tuesday, ready to buy all necessary parts and supplies for an oil change and maintenance for my truck. Probably would have spend over $300. There is only one other customer in the store that is being helped out by a fat white guy with a beard. There is no "Hello" or any acknowledgement from him. I patiently waited for about 5 minutes behind the customer for my turn. right as this customer was finishing up, another customer walked in and goes straight to the counter bypassing me. I thought that he might have a quick questions, but after he jumped the line and the GENERAL STORE MANAGER BY THE NAME OF "BOB" proceeded to help him, instead of me, i asked him: " is there a reason why you are helping somebody else who cut in line, instead of me at this point?" His response was, that this customer was here 30 minutes ago and therefore gets to jump the line. he was extremely rude, unapologetic, and unprofessional. I said that if a customer walks in 2 hours ago, and then tells you that he will be back, are you going to stand around and not help anybody until he comes back. where i get a response: "Have a good day" After i asked him for his name, he lied and said that his name is Joe. I was upset. i walked outside and there was another representative outside. I asked what this guys name was, and he told me that he is the General Manager by the name of BOB. I recommend that everybody stays away from this store and especially from BOB. This guy deserves to be fired. I filled a formal complaint with corporate immediately. I will update the status as more information becomes available. also they had inappropriate radio station playing that was talking about sex. Horrible service. I had someone help me pick out a new headlight for my car and told them the make and model. Come home to change the lightbulb and it's the wrong one, they won't allow me to return it because it's open but the mistake was from their end. My dad tried to return the bulb for me the same day he had to go back and buy new ones since they sold me the wrong ones and they said he could return it, but he didn't have my card. I came in yesterday 8/18/16 to have my battery checked and they told me it was good and just needed a charge. They took it out and charged it and put it back in. I drove it 5 mins away back home and the next morning it didn't start. I go check and the negative connector was loose. There was also a bolt that holds the battery in place that I come to find was missing. When I went back today 8/19/16 to ask if they could look and see if the bolt was left on the cart by accident, the man that identified himself as the manager, goes and looks. He comes back and says he didn't find anything and that the other person who helped me the day before wouldn't be back until Monday and likely wouldn't remember by then. He then proceeds to tell me that honestly he has no way of knowing whether or not it was there to begin with yesterday and that I'm not coming into the store with a story. At this point is when I asked if I could speak with the manager and he said, "I am the manager". Surprise, surprise. My dad (who was with me on 8/19/16) tells him that he used to be a mechanic so he's knowledgable with the piece that was missing and he just wanted to see if they could find it. The "manager" tells my dad: "funny you're a mechanic and know cars but you're coming to us about battery issues." First and foremost, my father doesn't live in the same city. He lives about an hour away so I don't bother him with car issues that should be able to be solved and helped by local businesses. I had no choice but to call him when the battery completely died because I obviously couldn't haul the car to this store with a dead battery. So I didn't appreciate the snarky remarks or less than helpful attitude from this so-called manager.My recommendations: send this manager back to training so he can learn manners, respect and decent customer service. Happily making the choice to not return to this location so that I not only dodge the incompetence but also the nasty attitude from management when their staff botches a simple task. read more
