This place really helped me out when my car broke down right in the parking lot in front of their store. A good place to break down I guess! Luckily it was just a bad battery. They came out and tested the battery then agreed to install it too. They were getting slammed with business but a guy working there his first day on the job cheerfully installed it - and wouldn't you know it - it started to rain like crazy right when we got outside. It poured! But he got the job done and I was on my way. I would give them 5 stars except they were really unstaffed for the amount of business they had. read more

I'm so impressed with the customer service and knowledge here. Al has helped me multiple times because I usually don't know exactly what I need; he's professional yet kind and patient! Just a few days ago my windshield wiper blade had fallen apart while I was cleaning snow and ice off my car: I took parts to Advanced and Alberto helped me ; reassembling it on my car and made sure it worked; he could have sold me a new set for all I knew about the problem! He also was kind and knowledgeable-- love these employees and will continue to go here even with other stores closer. read more

I got a quote on a part from the Havana and Yale location, I came here because it was on my. They couldn't even come close to the price I got over the phone and were rude to me about it. Went to the Havana location and had no problems with the price and they were friendly. read more

My blinker went out on my 2001 Cavalier, the employees helped me get a new bulb and installed it for me.

Worst store I've ever been too the staff didn't know anything and wasn't helpful. I asked for oil for the vehicle I'm working on the gal just pointed to the aisle where the oil was at. So lazy and rude.I thought they relied so heavily on those computers she didn't even bother turning the thing on. Will not be back. read more

Had some troubles finding a compatible battery for my Volvo C30. They carried 3 different types of aftermarket batteries, which only one seemed to fit. Josue and Tiff did an outstanding job helping me test and fit the correct one. Knowledgeable, polite and very helpful . read more

Kat at this location is amazing! I had googled nearest auto parts store as I needed some windshield wipers and auto zone came up. Went to the Auto Zone off Hampden and was so disappointed! I left and googled again- this advanced auto parts store came up and not only were they so helpful putting my passenger side blade back on she helped me purchase and put on a new wiper for driver side. All done with a smile and I tried to give her a tip and she politely thanked me but didn't accept it. That's a girl who loves her job, her company and compassion for people. I will continue to return to this location! Great job Kat! read more

Not the greatest car-parts store. Not the worst either. I actually purchased a part at another Advance and had to come here to pick it up. What I really needed was a metric 9 hex-head bolt. Of course, they have 8's and 10's, but no 9's. This was the same situation as the other Advance store, and same for a local Auto Zone. The service here was average at best. The cleanliness of this store compared to the other Advance and compared to the other Auto Zone was pretty poor. I've got no reason to ever come here again..... read more

These guys are awesome. I've bought here twice and the service has always been first rate. Just today they helped me out by exchanging a part that they didn't have to. Don't know the young guy's name but he's really good at what he does. I will definitely shop here whenever I need parts and I highly recommend the place. read more

I purchased a car battery yesterday 11/07/2013. Josue was AWESOME!!! He helped me and my father. He tested the battery and informed us that we would need to change the battery. He gave us a list of batteries that would work for us and why for each battery. He then suggested that I use my coupon online and wait for the order to go thru on his system and he would be able to hand it to me right then and there. Online it said that it would be ready for pick up in a few days but it only took maybe 5 minutes. I saved myself $40 bucks and was able to purchase the better battery for cheaper then the cheap battery. Josue waited for the order to go thru and was extremely nice. He answered all my "dumb" questions. I don't know much about cars. He was extremely nice and helped me explain things to my father which doesn't speak English too well. read more

Worst service! I went in to get oil for my car and an oil filter. no one helped me while I stood at the oil for ten minutes, even after I made eye contact with an employee. So I walked up to the counter and the two girl cashiers were eating ice cream cones and neither one said, "hi, can I help you?" In fact, they didn't say anything. I asked if I could get a quote on my oil filter, because I was pretty sure at this point I would not be buying from them. She looked at me like I was an idiot for asking to get a quote. Or she was upset I was interrupting her ice cream cone eating session at the counter, idk. She just said, "OK..." and then looked at me until I told her what kind of car I had. She couldn't even provide me basic customer service by asking me what kind of car I had?!? I've had awesome experiences at other Advance Auto Parts, but this location might want to look into hiring employees who want to EARN a paycheck by doing their actual job. I ended up going to Napa where I got excellent service and the help I needed. read more

Very rude service. The staff was laughing at my questions very rudely and were treating me like crap. The guy at the counter was to busy at the computer and would not even look at me. I would advise everyone not to go here. read more

I like advanced auto parts. I don't like this one. Their older cashier made me feel pressured and stupid on more than one occasion. without him it would be a great store. don't go here if you don't want to feel the urge to cuss and make a scene I had a hard time maintaining my cool read more
