I never write reviews, but after all the work I've had done at Adrenaline Toronto, I feel a certain obligation. Adrenaline is where I go every time I decide to be a bit crazy and rebellious. I have 3 Tattoos (2 of which I had done here) and 3 Helix, and 3 lobe piercings. After finding Adrenaline, I never looked back. Let me start off by saying that I had previously done my Helix piercings elsewhere and they were never able to last, they always got infected, or just never healed. At Adrenaline, I never had so much as a bump, they heal perfectly. My tattoos were done so professionally and just exactly what I wanted. The staff is so friendly from the second you walk in. They immediately ask you what you are looking for and assist you in the decision making process, all while being extremely friendly. I had special needs for my ear jewellery being hypo-allergenic and they were able to help me so nicely. The shop itself is beautiful and clean. Hygiene and cleanliness were so crucial for me, but seeing how meticulous the artists are (they open all the sealed packages right in front of you while wearing gloves, and disinfect the rooms in-between customers), is such a comfort. Another thing that really speaks to Adrenaline's greatness, is noticed as soon as you walk in. The sheer diversity of their clients really showcases their talent, and makes you feel right at home. You have people getting some more mild things done, to more extreme tattoo collectors, young to old. Also a plus - they accept debit and credit, which is more reassuring than places who operate on cash only. Adrenaline is the best shop in Toronto, hands down, you won't be disappointed. read more

I have been to adrenaline twice now. Both experiences where great. The counter staff its very friendly, enthusiastic and couldn't be more helpful, they do a great job making you feel like you're the most important customer to ever come in. they encouraged and gladly showed me work from the artists they have on staff and helped pick out an artist best suited for my piece. when i have brought in work, they do a great job to give recommendations on it, and they even had their apprentice on the spot draw up multiple possibilities for me to choose from of their ideas. one appointment was a late night walk in, and the other was for 6 hours later the same day. there was no need to book a month in advanced. the waiting room of the place is upstairs and away from the general public. its very comfortable, with leather couches and interesting artwork lining the walls. the tattoo rooms are privet and very clean. the first time i went, i had an artist named mike, he did great work and had no problem having a couple of my friends join me in the room. he was very friendly and without frustration answered all the dumb questions me and my friends came up with. the second artist i had was named Raidel. he was also extremely friendly. the piece i had him do was a lot more complex and demanding, and he blew me away with how well he did it. actually making it look better than the art i had brought in. he was super quick at what he did, which also made the cost lower. for my future tattooing needs, i will without a doubt go back to adrenaline. read more

I suggest that any female over the age of 13 steer clear of this place and heres why. Last weekend i wanted to take my younger sister shopping for her birthday (she just turned 15), and after a short while we found our way into Adrenaline. For the most part everything seemed okay i guess, lots of piercing jewelry, some clothing, a tattoo shop upstairs and a cute staff. The guys at first seemed friendly and nice until we met the owner Mikey, Morty, or Marty; whatever his name is. He was the creepiest guy we have ever met. Not only did i catch him "checking out" both me and my sisters body's if you know what i mean, he started making sexual comments and passes at both of us. It was absolutely disgusting. I'm sorry but when I'm shopping i don't want someone who's as old as my dad trying to get a date with me, it's creepy. He made me feel gross. I understand that we might look a little older than we are (i'm only 21 and Kayley's 15) but there is no way you can mistake us for someone thats in his dating range, he looks like hes 42. I called a bunch of my friends when i got home and told them about what happened and i found out that I wasn't the only one this has happened to. One of the girls i work with had basically the same thing happen to her a few months ago by who seems to be the same guy. So, after all of this, I made sure to warn all my friends about that shop, and anytime i hear people at my work talking about getting a piercing or some ink done, i make sure to let them know about the creepy pedophile who owns Adrenaline. read more

I went to get my nipples pierced. The dude at the counter was nice. But when he showed me who would be doing my piercing, I didn't feel confident. He seemed like doing this was a chore, but figured if he's working here he must know what he's doing so I went with him. One nipple was pierced fine, the other was pierced very crooked. I figured maybe because it was new and swollen it was crooked like that, but it never straightened out so I went back, saw the same guy, nick was his name, and he looked at it and admitted it was crooked. Tried to convince me I slept on it wrong, but no, he just pierced it wrong. I took it out and let it heal. My nipple never went back to normal though, it looks a little misshaped now. I went back there to see another piercer after it was healed. He was much more friendly and apologized for the bad work that was done. Though his work was no better. He pierced it even more crooked and on purpose! Telling me "it's doing to shift down and straighten out". Well that NEVER happened! I talked to my friend who has had many piercings, and she recommended me about the girl she goes to, who recently got hired at Adrenaline. I thought okay 3rd times a charm. I met with, Whitney was her name. She was awesome and she piercered it perfect. I don't ever want to go back there and give that place my money, but if you are going to go there i recommend Whitney. I luckily didn't have to pay to get my messed up piercings redone, otherwise I would have just gone somewhere else. read more

When I came for both the consultation and getting the tattoo done, the wait was around 30 mins after, but I didn't mind since I was in no rush. Despite that tiny flaw, I found the employees to be so friendly. One of the front desk girls called me "sweetie" (not a big deal but it was cute) when asking me questions about the appointment and that kind of showed me that she, specifically (not sure about others), treats any customer like a close friend or family member. In other words, it was very welcoming. I got my tattoo finally done around 4 days ago by Lisa Sinner and I am in love with the work she has done! She was so nice and made sure I was okay and felt comfortable during the tat session since she knew I was really nervous. She asked here and there if I need a break and if I'm doing okay. We also engaged in conversation which was nice since I get nervous talking to people in general. In a way, she was like a mom loool, just because she was very careful. My friend was there and she saw that Lisa was very honest with her work, and was fast but efficient. Some artists will pretend to shade in the tattoo just to increase the hours thus getting a little extra money. But Lisa did not do that at all so the price was very honest. Overall, despite the wait, I am very satisfied with everything. read more

I've gotten a few tattoos in the past and have been a bit apprehensive when it came to the attitude of the artists, because truthfully when someone has any form of talent they can sometimes turn into a d-bag. I mean, SOMEBODY please explain to me the prestige that is somehow inherent to baton twirlers? But this place was rad! All of the staff were extremely helpful and chilled out, not to mention they gave my friend and I appointments within an hour of walking in and telling them what we wanted. As far as being pissed about the size of our tattoos or our attitudes, I'm not sure if our artist has any complaints, but i'm sure a client's behaviour has a lot to do with such remarks, and my friend and I had a great time with Joe. There mere fact that I have come out of the experience knowing his name and remembering the interactions I had with himself and the rest of the staff is a good indication of the quality of the parlour. Considering I had no idea when I walked in that there was a lot of hype surrounding the store, it is a major relief to me that their popularity hasn't seemed to affect the way they treat the customer. The little white rabbit I got is officially my favourite tattoo, and I can say with confidence that I'll be going back there for my next piece, so thanks guys! read more

My daughter and I were in Toronto for a quick visit from Edmonton and we had talked about her getting a nose piercing and I thought about getting another tattoo... We were first met by Rowan prior to Adenaline Tattoo opening for the day. She was a fantastic person that made us feel very comfortable and was extremely helpful and professional. My daughter got her nose pierced by Nic. All I can say is that he was great and showed so much professionalism and decorum. I will definitely go to Nic for my next piercing when in Toronto. I was very fortunate to be able to get my tattoo by Takato (Guest Artist) who was an amazing craftsman in his art. I had a brush-stroke tattoo on my right arm and my expectations were completely blown away with what I walked away with. I am in awe of the work that I am now proud to show and display! The pricing was good, not the cheapest, but for the quality, professionalism and whole experience... WORTH IT!!! The studio has a very good vibe and feel with Marty who was always checking in and keeps a fun atmosphere. Such an excellent environment, very clean rooms and I would highly recommend Adrenaline Tattoo in Toronto. I love Adrenaline! I used to only go to New Tribe because I was told about that place by my older sister. I went there for a few piercings and my first tattoo. New Tribe is clean and they're good but they are NO Adrenaline. At Adrenaline, they are friendly and welcoming within the first ten seconds of walking into the shop. Not only when its not busy ALL THE TIME. The staff is knowledgeable and I feel like I can talk to the people as if they're a good friend of mine. I feel so comfortable and welcomed every time I go to Adrenaline. Not only are they cool people, the shop has a large selection of jewlery, clothes and tons of books to look through for tattoos. They also have a few art pieces for sale. There's a reason why I don't go to New Tribe anymore. It's not because I don't like New Tribe, it's because I love Adrenaline. The guys there are awesome, they do awesome work. They put the jewlery in for you for free, you get to have a look at all the jewlery and the wait time is very reasonable. Honestly, Adrenaline is awesome. There's no where else I'll go and I definitely suggest you check it out for yourself. Those guys have never disappointed me. So after having all of my tattoos done at Reactive Ink, I was in quite a dilemma when Alex closed up the shop. Choosing and trusting a tattoo artist is similar to the relationship you have with your hair stylist. I had wanted a piece in memory of my dad who had passed, but quite honestly didn't trust anyone enough with it. My girlfriend mentioned to me that she had her sleeve done at Adreneline and it looked awesome. So I very nervously went into the shop one Saturday afternoon. I have to say...I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and warmly I was greeted. I explained what I had in mind and the Shop Manager set me up with an Artist that had just arrived from Australia. After describing the vision I had for my piece, he quickly drew it up and it was EXACTLY what I had imagined. I was absolutely thrilled with the tattoo and the entire experience! Since that first visit I have had 3 more tattoos done there...one of which was a half sleeve with 2 sittings totally 7 hours, all with Chris Strik. Believe me...I wouldn't have dropped that much money just anywhere. Adreneline has a great, friendly atmosphere with extremely talented artists. I got my very first tattoo (yesterday) at Adrenaline with Chris Price. Not only Chris, but all the other staff members made me feel confortable with their down-to-earth attitude. Everything is nice and clean and sterile. I gave two words to Chris what I want in my (lower back) tattoo: snakes and a heart. He captured my idea and drawn a very cool design that I loved right away. His easy going personality made me feel comfortable, even after I felt a bit woozy and he helped me to feel better before he continued. The atmosphere is like a big tattoo family where everybody comes and goes and help each other out. I actually really liked that, as I didn't feel isolated, everybody was cool. Before I went there I thought I will feel strange and I thought I will be treated as the "girl with her first tattoo" but I had an overall great experience at Adrenaline, and I am definitely going back to see Chris for my next one;) I went to Adrenaline through recommendation and I am definitely recommending this place to either newbies or hard core tattoed people. Went to Adrenaline yesterday to get my nose pierced. I had researched a lot of places beforehand, and went into New Tribe also just to check it out, but New Tribe was unprofessional and rude and I didn't trust them to put a major hole in my face... ANYWAYS, Adrenaline was amazing. The customer service was great, everyone was really friendly and took time to explain the different metals in different rings, and I felt really comfourtable going in there especially being nervous about getting my nose pierced! When I got into the room, Luke was there to set me up. Very clean, sterilized needles, gloves, etc. He was very patient when I didn't like the original marker, so he re-sterilized everything and re-maked my piercing location without any problem. He was really nice and calming, again making me feel so much better about the whole process, and talked me through every step of his process. And he gave me a high-five at the end! I'd go back any time for piercings or tattoos, I absolutely loved this shop and the staff and one day later my nose looks absolutely amazing with no swelling, bumps, redness - nothing. This place is awesome! I always have a great experience when I visit. The first time I came in was for a tattoo consult. The manager and staff were super friendly and got me started by helping me look up designs to finalize my custom design. When my artist was ready, we spoke at length about what I wanted and the style and size. By the end of the next day they had email my design to me. It was fantastic! After a couple of tweeks we set up a time for me to have it done. This was my first tattoo. The staff was really great about making me feel comfortable and made sure I was okay. It was super clean and Joe (my artist) talked to me about the procedure and the materials and inks they use. I LOVE my tattoo! I always get compliments on it. Joe did a FANTASTIC job and I hardly felt it at all (it's on my shoulder blade). Since then I've been in for jewellery and have always had a positive experience. I'm going to bring my daughter in here when she's ready to get her nose pierced. I have recommended Adrenaline to many of my friends and family and I will continue to do so. read more

I have had a lot of piercings in my life - and had one of my best-ever experiences at Adrenaline with Nic L. I never get nervous about piercings until I see all the surgical looking tools prepared on the table. Nic was incredibly calm, because of this, I didn't have any jitters at all. The entire process, start to finish, was VERY short (less than 10 minutes) which was great, as the longer I wait, the scarier it can become. After the initial piercing, Nic threaded the jewelry through seamlessly. This is often the worst part for me, but in this instance, I did not feel it at all. I was really surprised about that! He thoroughly explained the aftercare to me, and sent me home with some complementary sea salt to clean it. It was definitely the easiest (and most painless!) piercing I have ever gotten. Of course - I always do my homework, and I know from previous experience that Adrenaline has extremely high sanitation standards, everything is sterilized/autoclaved. This is a must! In addition, the shop has a great selection of body jewelry and plugs for stretched ears. Yay! read more

I've been going to Adrenaline for piercings since I was 15, and for tattoos for about a year. It is the first place I recommend for anyone wanting to get piercings or tattoos done - they have an amazing array of staff and every time I have gone I've been treated with the utmost care and attentiveness. They are clean, professional and provide an excellent standard of work; I have regretted nothing walking out of that shop for the past three years. I've gotten to know some of the floor staff and although the faces are not the same every time, the attitudes are always upbeat and positive regardless of the time, day or weather. They almost always answer their phone, accept walk in piercings (and are always willing to check out infected/concerning piercings that may not have been done at the shop, which is a really great quality!) and have plenty of staff to greet you and provide service for you right away the minute you walk in the door. I have received nothing but good from this store from the moment I started going, so thank you Adrenaline! 10/10 would recommend. read more

I went to Adrenaline for a tattoo yesterday. This was my first tattoo and I was nervous about it. I had it tattooed on the top of my foot. From the minute I walked into the store I was greeted with a friendly staff. I asked about the possibility of getting a tattoo that day, and also was asked what I would like. I told the girl what I was looking for and she was more than helpful to me. Marty did my tattoo, and he offered a couple colour suggestions, as the one musical note was yellow, he suggested a different colour, and that worked for me. He was extremely friendly and professional. The store and the upstairs where they have private rooms, was above standard clean. All staff were friendly and professional. This tattoo artisit, made my experience good as I was nervous. I would definately recommend Adrenaline and I would go back again. Sorry for those couple of peole who did not have a good experience, you may want to go back, as I really had a very pleasant experience. Give it another try. I just popped into Adrenaline on Sunday as all my piercings had been taken out for an x- ray, and its just not easy to get them all back in yourself, so I thought I would pop in and see what my options were. Within 2 seconds a really friendly girl asked how I could be assisted, so I explained what I needed. She quickly went through the options of jewelry for me (I had lost all my other ones) and then I was told to go wait outside the piercing room, and someone would call my name shortly. She wasn't kidding, I literally was seen to, and my piercings were in, in about ten minutes. Unfortunately the bar that I chose was a little too long for one of my ear pieces, so I went back in today to buy a smaller one. The piercer (sorry I don't know her name) just replaced it and said not to worry about paying. Talk about service !!! Unfortunately I did not have cash to tip her, so felt a little awkward, but I will be dropping by to do just that when I'm next in Toronto. I would highly recommend this place for level of service alone. read more

Hi all! The Adrenaline shop seems a nice place, I got my 2 tattoos there. First one, I got with master Paul, he is from Greece, he is such a nice guy and his job really well. The second one, I'm still facing shit after tattoo. I got tattoo on my wrist, and the artist wasn't nice and gentle. He did his work about 5 minutes max and it was so fucking painful. Next day, everything around tattoo was red and I had temperature, so I went visit a doctor, because my whole arm started hurting me. A doctor said I got an infection and gave me a course of antibiotics. I got my tattoo about 2,5 weeks ago and still, my arm just kills me. I get numb and pain is so annoying, so again I visited a doctor and she told me that artist hurt my nerve, that wrist is sensitive place and its dangerous also. So doctor can't do anything as nerve will heel by itself but it will take a long time. So if you want get a tattoo, go to the salon first and talk to people. Don't make mistake as I did. I will go and talk to artist that he is gonna be in trouble. read more

I have nothing but great experiences at this shop! I love the general feel of the shop and the employees are always friendly and attentive. I usually feel uncomfortable and out of place when I enter tattoo shops, but I always feel completely comfortable at Adrenaline. I got my current tattoo (done at a different tattoo shop) fixed at this location by Mike Beddome, and not only was I pleased, I was also REALLY impressed with his art and ability to be so creative! I have seen some of the work from other artist too and it`s exceptional! These people are very talented and you know that too because it`s on Queen street! I also got my chest microdermal done! In regards to the cleanliness, it`s beyond any other shop I have ever been to. The standards Adrenaline sets are very high, and it`s a nice feeling to know you`re in good hands. I love the selection of clothing and all the cool jewelry, I know it`s always one of a kind clothing and regularly go there to just shop around! i have been going to adrenaline tattoo for 2 years now and its been a real good experiance everytime the staff are super friendly and helpful, there price are not bad to i have had my septum,snake bites, both my nostrils pierced there, and im very happy with the results and the advice i was given for the after care.if u need some jewelry and they dont have it they will order it in, very helpfull that they sterilize the jewelry for you alot of other places dont do that!! i am heavy tattooed and have been tattooed all around the world and this shop is in my top 3 favorite places to get tattooed i have been getting tattooed by alie k for nearly 2 years now and have 6 tattoos done by her,currently working on my back peice she is an amazing artist very professional, and alie's line work and attention to detail is so good, she takes her time and does not rush, and actually cares about what she does, , she is allways prompt for the apointments i cant say enough about her work!! read more
