Blown away by the service and the quality of the items. Came back for more gear the next day because we knew the level of service we'd receive. Highly recommend!!

The person on the phone was very accommodating and patient. We let them know when we were planning on arriving, and they said they would make sure the store was open. Snowshoe rentals were only $15 each, and they included poles, goggles, and a balaclava. I believe the snow pants and snow boots were also only $15 each. The teal pants were SO cute. The person in the store was also very patient and helpful. There was a cute little hot cocoa station that included marshmallows, tea, Vitamin C, and apple cider packets. The only things missing were candy canes! But they made up for it with sweet treats (sugar cookies, fudge, and more). While we were there, we realized that we forgot our hand warmers. The person overheard us and gave us some for free!! What makes this place so convenient was that it was 6 minutes from our AirBnb in Sunriver AND they have a return box outside of the store if we get there after hours! I was also pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to return the rentals under the next morning at 9:00. Will definitely come back for more rental needs!

It is practically our second home, so with…read morethis place being in the heart of our favorite vacation spot, there is even more reason to love it. One of the best places to rent your winter and summer sport rentals. They also have one of the yummiest shaved ice. They had a 50% off special on their skateboards over the summer so of course our daughter had to get one. If you ever go to Sunriver, make sure to stop by here and check them out. They're in a perfect location as well.

Super responsive and so very helpful. He provided us with a map with his phone number on it in case we had any trouble finding the place, and told us the best snow park to head to. We rented a couple snow scooters which my husband and six year old son loved. But the best were the zipfly things-- I think that's what they were called. My kids had a blast flying down the hills on them. Equipment was clean, well maintained and safe. Jon's shop was fun to walk around in and look at things. He was a pleasure to talk to and very knowledgeable. Hoping to get back to the area and rent a snowmobile from him. *** if his shop is closed, try calling or texting the number provided if it's within business hours. He was super responsive and showed up within ten minutes.

It was at the tail end of winter, with cold nights and wet days. Rooms have gas fireplaces, with outdoor seating and porches for warmer weather. Checkin was great in the main lodge. They had many friendly employees. There's a bar and restaurant here that I didn't have time to visit! The grounds have paved trails all over, with quick walks or bike rides to restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They have a free shuttle that can get you around to places quicker too! My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time! For the event we had catered amazing meals of local produce and meats, so many flavorful items. The event spaces all have a lodge feel to them as well, comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a few days if you're in the area.

Ha! The Central Oregon Visitors Association advertises this place as a 'Welcome Center'. Yeah,…read moreright. I made a variety of stops during a recent trip to central Oregon and this place easily gets the prize for being the worst by far - all because of the one snooty woman working there. The place itself is just what you'd expect, a lot of helpful brochures with information not just about Sunriver, but for things to see and do in the broader area. The space is clean, decent sized and well organized, and restrooms are just outside but in the same building. For a place like this you also expect friendly staff. Sadly, that's not the case here. When I walked in, the woman was helping a couple right near the entrance. She didn't acknowledge my presence when I walked in or at any time during the probably 5 minutes I was there browsing. Not a smile, nod, any sort of eye contact, comment that she'd be with me shortly... Nothing. To her, I was invisible and not even there. The place isn't *that* big and there were only 2 other people there - the 2 she was helping. Think of the space as being the size of a large living room, and I looked at all the brochure racks in the place, so yeah, she knew I was there. Not to stereotype, but looking at her then looking at the people she was helping, I'd bet that the more affluent you appear, the better service you will receive by this woman that is supposedly there to help everyone. IOW, if you don't look like you live in a gated community, go in and get your brochures then ask Google what more you should know. Conversely, the La Pine Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center is a WONDERFUL place to stop and chat and learn more about what you should know about the area. The woman who helped me there asked which direction I was headed and what I liked to do and then recommended a stop that I thoroughly enjoyed but wouldn't have known about if it weren't for her. So yeah, if you just want printed material to read on your own later, go here. If you want to talk to real locals that want to help you to enjoy your stay, go to the Visitors Center in La Pine.

I went into the C.O. Visitors Assoc. looking for ideas to entertain out of town guests. The young…read morelady that helped me was superb, knowledgeable, patient and friendly. She was able to winnow through the myriads of brochures to find the things that would be most appropriate for us to do. To me she was the penultimate representative of C.O.
