The stables are well made and clean; the horses seemed very happy and well taken care of; and they have plenty of room to run around and get exercise. The farmhand that I spoke with was very passionate about his work and loving towards the animals, and was friendly towards me too :) They also grow their own hay for the year, so the horses always have plenty to eat. The farm also offers riding lessons, and horse training for those that don't know how already.

After I indicated that we were just waiting for our kids to return from their trail ride we were told we were on a private road and needed to wait in the parking lot... I'm glad my kids enjoyed their ride, but as a paying customer this left a bad taste in my mouth. Staff could have decided to be respectful towards my wife and I. Unfortunate. My daughters were in awe of the mostly young, female staff and their competent and confident handling of the horses. The ride went through a lovely wooded area and then had some riverside views at the end. The staff took pictures of us along the way which they texted to us at the end of the ride. We all were left feeling like we wanted to explore more of the cowgirl life!
