Low cost vaccinations and a super caring, efficient staff…read more My cat needed a rabies shot and so I asked my vet about the cost. $50 office visit plus $55 for the vaccine. Yikes. Searching online, I found the Spay and Neuter Project. Their fee (posted on the website): $10 office visit plus $20 for the vaccine. However, they only offer vaccinations on Saturday between 10am and 1:30pm and its first come first served. They put out a clipboard where people sign in. And they are very efficient about getting through the list. I was #5 and my wait time was 30 minutes. The administration of the shot was done with the utmost care. My cat would not come out of her carrier so the two staff unscrewed and lifted off the top to inject her. The entire time they were petting her and speaking softly to calm her down. And best of all, because I had my cat's original paperwork from the Humane Shelter, they said I could get the 3 year rabies vaccine, also $20.

From the moment I walked in the front door I was greeted warmly by the ladies at the front desk. The paperwork was super fast to fill out, and I was able to get my dog an X-ray, blood test, and a week's-worth of medicine all within an hour of me walking in there. Dr. Rex was awesome, super informative, and helpful, and he even called the next day to check up on her. Really appreciated that! Makes me feel they really care about what they are doing. I had already had a private trainer, but then he was ready for the next step....school with someone who has an amazing play areas for the dogs where the dogs learn to socialize, but with someone who is a trainer and teaches dogs how to play in a safe way. I know no other place anywhere that literally does training for your dog while they play. Commands like "wait," "back" "break" and many others. She watches the dogs behavior when they play so they do not get too rough with each other. She is an expert in interpreting dogs behavior. She also trains the dogs in groups as seen below. But all of this is done with positive training and kindness for she truly loves the dogs. For warmer days, she has kid pools for the dogs, and for really cold days there is an inside play area. She plays games with the dogs too. When my dog arrives, he flies through the air with ears flying backwards for he is so excited to arrive at Woof to Wow
