Huge shoutout to Casey for the amazing work he did on my new mare's feet. She foundered a few months ago and came to me with shoes a size too small, cracking, and a lot of damage. Casey spent 3.5 hours patiently getting her fitted with the right size shoes, copper nails, silicon gel for comfort, keyholes in the back, sealed and treated her feet, and even presoaked the leather so it molded perfectly. But what stood out the most was how knowledgeable he was and much he cared about helping her. He was calm, kind, and really taught me a lot. He explained everything to me as he worked, showing me how and why the damage from the founder changes the hoof. He even offered to come out on a Sunday because he didn't want her to have to wait in pain longer. He asked me to check back in a couple of days just so he'd know how she was doing.
