Great dog park with lots of options for play from a big open field to smaller open areas and trails connecting it all. It's nice to have so many options and so much space to spread out and explore. The whole thing is fenced and clean. There are a few treed sections but much of it has shorter vegetation so it could get hot in summer. read more

Hands down the BEST dog park I have ever been to. There's multiple options; one side for small dogs, a huge side for big dogs with grass, than another side that is dirty and rocks and feels like a hike. All 3 of these areas are separately fenced in and have stands with doggy bags. My Shepard loves hikes and this park was perfect so that she could run and explore while still being in a fenced in, safe area. read more

We played disc golf here. Driving into the park I was surprised by the desolate landscape. I know Bend is a high dessert, but I expected more trees. I assumed the disc golf would be not great because of that, but we still had a great time. The uniqueness of all the lava that created different obstacles was pretty good. read more

This is the BEST dog park in Bend (and the biggest). My dog loves to tear around the giant grassy field and explore the trails. Everyone I've met here is very friendly and the dog are well-behaved. Lots of poo-bag stations and garbage cans. If it was closer I'd come here every day! Roux gives two paws up! (Be sure to bring your own water in the winter.) read more

Excellent trails meandering through rocks, bushes and grasses. Very large green space where dogs can chase after balls and each other. Rather dusty but that can be attributed to the dry weather. This is the best dog park in town! The landscape is well maintained, the people are friendly, and there is a ton of space to run around with you pup! Awesome dog park on the northeast side of the park! I feel like I should pay an admission to go here, it's so nice! Completely fenced in, massive in size (we actually "lost" our dog for a bit), with poop bag and dog watering stations throughout. It was clean - only saw one dog poop on the entire grounds while we were there, and it was fairly well off the beaten path. Great place to walk, while walking your dog, since there are trails meandering throughout the junipers, sage brush and rock outcroppings. The non-off-leash-dog-park part of the park itself is really nice too. There are several things under construction that look like they will be completed this summer - bathrooms, a baseball diamond and some other facilities. A great running trail going all the way around (dirt and pavement trails - pick your poison). read more

For the pups: a HUGE fenced dog park with a variety of different terrain, including grass, dirt, rock, pond, shrub brush. For pups under 25 lbs a fair sized small dog zone with several kinds of terrain and a walking path. read more

There is a great loop trail around the park, all paved. It meets the Accessible trails guidelines so there's only one section of trail less than 50 feet long that approaches a 10% grade. If you're looking for an "easy" trail, recovering from surgery, or teaching your kids to bike, this trail is perfect at 1.2 miles. If you do the trail counter clockwise you'll get great views of the cascades on the westward reach. The trail runs through ponderosa pine stands, lodgepole windbreaks and the juniper forest, not to mention typical high-desert buckbrush and rabbit brush. There's also a dirt/gravel trail parallel for the more serious runners, and it can be added to further lengths through the disc golf park or up by the elementary school. When active sports aren't dominating the park usage there is a 12 acre grass open space, just perfect for the kite flyer or frisbee flopper. There are two restroom locations and a nice shade shelter for those hot Central Oregon summers. Read the other reviews if your looking for a place to exercise and socialize Spot and Fido, and remember to keep them on leash on the loop trail for the enjoyment of everyone (remember there are perfectly nice people that are afraid of dogs). We came here to play disc golf. The holes are very confusing and apparently mislabeled, according to the other players we met there. However, we just started at #10, which is the new #1, and followed another group so we wouldn't get lost. I don't think we'd have been able to find our way throughout the course without help. It's unclear where the next basket is at. There are a trillion fire ants and red ants in and around the course, so wear appropriate footwear. Our friend's 6 year old was with us in sandals and had ants crawling all over his feet, poor thing. The course is pretty much entirely in the sun, and there is a lot of dog poop everywhere. Definitely a better course for fall or spring play, or on an overcast day. It would be nice if more dog owners picked up after their pets, too. There's a lot of wandering around in disc golf, and it would suck for your disc to be found in a pile of doggie doo. read more

For the off-leash dog park, Park in the north parking lot off Yeoman street and the entrance is just left of the tennis courts. Big dogs on the right side, little dogs on the tiny left side. If you continue through the big dog side - sagebrush, junipers, and dirt - you'll get to the grassy field (about the size of a soccer field). Continue around the track of the field and you'll re-enter the section of juniper, dirt, basalt piles, and sage brush. It's a fantastic park. The park is clean and well-groomed. In the way of improvements, it could use a few more strategically placed trash cans. read more

This is a fabulous 18 acre fenced dog park. Our 2 goldens loved it. Lots of natural landscape with marked trails. Your choice to use the trails or find your own path. There is also a huge grassy area, large enough for several games of fetch all at the same time. Our only issue was not realizing there is no water source this time of year. I would suggest posting signs at the entrance so folks would know to carry water for their 4 legged friends. read more

Pine Nursery has the BEST dog park in Bend - hands down. My dog absolutely loves it there. The trails are nice and there is a big open field that, on a sunny day, is probably the happiest place in Central Oregon. All the dogs are just milling about, panting, playing, running, and barking up a storm. It's adorable. I've been going to one dog park or another here in Bend nearly every day for the past year, but Pine Nursery is by far the one I love the most. It actually took me a while to even learn about it, and then longer to finally go there, but once I did, I was hooked. There are very few aggressive dogs at this park. I've found that every once in a while down at the Old Mill, or even up at the dog park off 15th, there will be some pretty rough pups, who have maybe not been properly socialized or trained by their owners (hint hint people - please be responsible!). There have been a few times that I've had to leave these parks early because my poor girl got pinned a little too aggressively and couldn't get up (she's a lover, not a fighter!). But at Pine Nursery, whenever something like that happens, we just move along to a different area of the park and keep playing. It's great. All in all, 5 stars for Pine Nursery because of the Dog park! read more

I love this dog park. We recently moved to Bend, Oregon from California and this is by far the best dog park we've been too. We have 2 small dogs. 5lb and a 7lb. We take them into the little dog park which is located right next to the big dog park. All the pet owner are friendly and very responsible for their dogs. No one acts up and it's fun to see all of them together. I highly recommend it if you have a small dog. Beats the one by the Old Mill. This one has grass. read more

Nice big clean park for both small and large breeds. I'm hoping they will add a few trees and a bench seating area in the near future. The grass is long and green and probably the nicest lawn I've ever seen in a dog park thus far. Adding a doggy waterspout would be the complete package. One of the best parks in Bend! Wish they had basketball courts. They are always adding on, so maybe someday. Has a large softball complex, pickleball, playground, and many large open grass areas. The disc golf is a ton of fun. A good sized course with different hole options. There is a small fishing pond that is stocked with rainbows. A great place for kids and adults who are new to fishing. There are a couple of huge parking areas that are fun to ride my longboard around. There is a fun and flat 1.4 mile path around the entire park that is great for , skateboarding, walking, or roller blading. They really keep all of the areas clean and maintained. We love this park! It has a great playground and a nice little fishing pond. We love how clean and comfortable it is.

The community center is very nice. This score is for the disc golf. We had a good time at the course but it is poorly labelled. We tried using the map first but found ourselves playing the baskets out of order. In fact, other out of town guys were sitting on a bench for awhile in hopes to piggy back off a local group. All "launch pads" were nicely paved. To its left were permanent signs.. but it never designated its hole number. It could be that folks were prepping for their June tournament.
