The Warwick Arms has a quirky decor and charming ambiance. It's a typical British pub, and although it has a section of the menu devoted to British pub classics, the majority of the menu is dedicated to Indian cuisine. I'm not sure if there are other pubs in London serving Indian food, but it is the perfect combination! We sampled many dishes during our 2 visits here, including chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, saag paneer, vegetable biryani, basmati rice, and garlic and cilantro naan. Everything was absolute perfection. There wasn't a single bite of food that we didn't love. The Pimm's and Lemonade was a delightful and refreshing discovery for us. We enjoyed glasses of it our first night, and then on our final night when we returned with a larger group we split a pitcher. Our server was polite and friendly on both occasions. I was honestly unsure before visiting the Warwick Arms because although the reviews online are fantastic their website is minimal and doesn't even publish their menu, but I am so glad we stopped by. I would 100% recommend the Warwick Arms to anyone visiting London, especially if you are staying in the Kensington area.

There was another woman ordering lots of takeaway and some snacks to enjoy while she waited, and a few couples, but the place was quiet. As I looked over the menu, I saw that they also have garlic & onion free options. As I have a colleague who is always looking for such options, and I don't see that much in the states, I wondered if that's something that most places here advertise. I chose the saag paneer with naan and rice pilau. Saag paneer was tasty, a little runnier than I'm accustomed to, but still great flavor, and just what I needed. Rice was unimpressive - I wish I'd just eaten the saag with a spoon. Service was meh - not friendly, but not rude. Didn't really seem interested in serving me - just ticking boxes.

Aurora is right, they are very friendly and helpful, you are treated so nicely, you are even spoiled and then Sagar becomes the measuring stick of other restaurants, in terms of customer service. It mainly specialises in dishes from South India, like the dosa (rice pancakes type), other wonderful things about this place include the lunchtime special which is a real steal, at £4.50 for a big selection of dishes - it includes dosas, poppadoms and desserts! The place itself seems a bit cramped maybe a couple of tables too many, so it can be annoying when children are running around, so I would recommend going on a weekday. And another thing, £3.75 for a takeaway box is stupidly cheap so it must be taken advantage of immediately.
