Gave them a call to schedule a next day appointment, and sat down with Jessica for a haircut. Now unless you speak Korean (which I don't), I'd recommend that you bring a picture with exactly what you want since there's a bit of a language barrier. I showed Jessica two pictures of what I wanted and she delivered perfectly! I went from long hair to a stylish bob with great layers and volume. I was also surprised that the haircut and wash was only $35. Where I'm from in SoCal, haircut only is $35-50 so I came out really happy. Even if you aren't Asian, I recommend going here since they definitely have some great haircutters at a great price! Also, if you like Korean food, come here on M-F since Bando Kitchen is right next door :) I say M-F only because I went over today and they don't have the lunch special on the weekend and it's pretty pricy otherwise.

During my color appointment, I repeatedly told my stylist that my scalp was itching, tingling, and becoming increasingly uncomfortable while the color was processing. These are common warning signs of irritation or a chemical reaction. Despite informing her, the color remained on my scalp. When I got home, it became clear that my scalp had been burned. The reaction was severe enough to trigger an inflammatory flare-up. No client should leave a salon with a chemical burn after expressing concerns during the service. What truly turned a bad experience into an unacceptable one was not just the casual attitude of my stylist, but later on in a separate incident, the salon's treatment towards me. When I expressed my grievance to them, first to the receptionists, then escalating to management, my concerns were largely dismissed. There was no meaningful acknowledgment, no genuine concern for my well-being, and no effort to take responsibility for what occurred. In addition, my interactions with the front desk were consistently rude and condescending. The black girl was the worst offender. Rather than feeling like a valued customer whose health and safety mattered, I felt as though I was being treated as an inconvenience for reporting a legitimate issue. Mistakes can happen in any business. What separates a reputable salon from a poor one is how it responds when something goes wrong. In this case, the lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability was just as troubling as the injury itself. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone seeking services here.

I just wanted a haircut so I started off by showing Paige two different pictures on my phone of something I was considering. I could tell she combined the two photos in her head before cutting my hair, and she only saw the photos for a couple seconds! Every haircut includes a wash, hot towel around your neck, scalp massage, hand/arm massage, and a neck and shoulder massage. You can opt out of anything, but I enjoyed the relaxation of it all. Also, the pricing is very competitive with other salons in the area, if not cheaper. After cutting, drying, and layering my hair she offered to straighten or curl my hair. She never seemed in a rush and made me feel great. I just wish she would have told me which products she was using in my hair, during the hand massage, and for the neck massage. She snapped at me and said since I wasn't satisfied I should just not come in at 5pm or at all... this weekend or ever again. I explained that I wasn't arguing, but I was confused about the appointment time and subsequent style. I still needed the appointment because I'm getting married and she begrudgingly booked me for an 8am appointment today, very clearly quoting me "$150" (I know this because she spelled it out like I am an idiot '1-5-0.'). I arrived at 8am with the hair detangled, separated by wafts and washed. I then had to wait 20minutes for my stylist to arrive. I received a SEW-IN NO STYLE THAT TOOK 1.5HOURS, and a LEAVE OUT INSTEAD OF A CLOSURE. Regardless, I accepted the style without complaint, thanked the staff and proceeded to the front. Upon check out, I saw the stylist quoted me $180 for the service. I politely asked the owner about the difference in price, explaining I had expected the $150 originally quoted, she snapped at me YET AGAIN. This time Neesheka loudly proclaimed that I was "HAGGLING, and DIDN'T have the THIRTY DOLLARS", it was my "FAULT FOR NOT ASKING THE STYLIST THE PRICE BEFORE" and she "OPENED EARLY FOR ME" (the appointment time she offered) and so I "SHOULD JUST NEVER COME BACK". This owner is extremely unprofessional, and made a scene in front of at least 20 people, causing me to TEAR UP. Neesheka called me 5 times yesterday to set up an appointment, clearly showing that she didn't have a handle on the situation and then grew irritated that I wasn't able to accept half a service or come in at the drop of a hat. During this interaction she treated me, the customer, with such disrespect that even her HUSBAND looked ashamed of the behavior, repeatedly stepping in- an attempt to deescalate her lack of respect and aggressive communication. I had already planned on not returning after my hair was fried to a crisp, only coming in today due to the availability, but the behavior of the owner(s) solidified that I will never return. I was really excited because I've been so down about my hair and I had a wedding coming up on Saturday and was really excited to look pretty. The night before my appointment I was so excited, I checked in online and while I was checking in I noticed a different name than the high level dimensional brunette stylist I extensively researched. I knew then that it was happening again and I was about to be shoved over. I called the next morning and sure enough, they switched the stylist to a different lower level stylist (who I'm sure is great) who doesn't specialize in what I wanted because the stylist I wanted had scheduled someone else and no longer had time for my spot. No call, no text. Just switched me. Maybe if they would've given me the courtesy of letting me know early I could've rescheduled for a time before the wedding. But no. Day of appointment when I called they informed me that they moved me and she would not have any time to see me. I informed them that I scheduled in advance and that the wedding was Saturday.
