When I was there in November, I noticed that they had a cake that was quite cute. In addition to the cake, they also had a baking mix, where you could make the cake yourself. Maybe next year I will get that, but I didn't have time to make a cake. Cooper really enjoyed the already made birthday cake. He had a couple pieces on his birthday and then as a treat for a couple days later. When I visited Purely Pets in November, the owner tossed a bunch of samples in my bag. Cooper happened to love one of those samples. When I went in there this time, the owner was out sick and her mom was running the store for her. She unfortunately didn't know what I was talking about, but collected my contact information. A day later, the owner emailed my back with the pictures of the treats. Customer service is amazing at Purely Pets. I will continue to support this business and encourage others to purchase their pet supplies here. They have items for dogs, cats and tiny critters too.

I was really impressed with the service, which is ultimately why I'll be coming back again soon! I'm a relatively new cat owner so I usually spend a ton of time at the big box pet stores squinting at cans and trying to guess what my cats may like. But I had a completely better experience at Purely Pets because as soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away and asked if I needed help with anything. So I took her up on that and asked for advice on cat treats. I appreciate that she asked what my cats normally enjoy then made suggestions based off that. The way she was describing the different treats, I could tell she was very knowledgeable on all of them. I also got a few cans of wet cat food and was relieved they had them organized by texture (my cats won't eat puréed), and that they had signs beneath each that made reading the ingredients much easier than squinting at tiny cans. When I cashed out, she also gave me a few samples for my cats to try, including "Inaba irresistible Churu". I wasn't sure if my cats would like a treat like this, but they LOVED it! So now I'm definitely coming back to buy some more of these! Overall I would highly recommend stopping in to Purely Pets, especially if you're looking for recommendations on new food or treats.

Come for the feed, leave with a whole new wardrobe and questionable life choices…read more I thought I knew what Tractor Supply was. Pretty sure the first time I heard the name, it came rolling out of George Strait's mouth like a gospel truth. Maybe it was a commercial. Maybe it was a dream. Either way, I figured this was a place where you picked up tractor bits, livestock feed, and a straw hat with dignity. What I didn't expect was that I'd one day be strutting through this store like it was my own personal runway. Let me back up. Once upon a time, I was just my husband's plus-one on a "quick errand" that dropped me into a Tractor Supply in another town. I wandered off (as one does) and ended up hypnotized by Christmas ornaments and squeaky dog toys shaped like chickens. I left empty-handed but spiritually altered. Fast forward to life in Small Town, USA, where the local Tractor Supply is basically Target for the rural elite. I've become a regular. Their pet section is massive. No, I don't own a horse, but if I did--her name would be Nellie and she'd have a full fall wardrobe and matching saddle bags, thank you very much. For now, I spoil my dog, Princess Bailey, who has a taste for high-end chew toys and spa-level grooming. We haven't used the in-store dog wash yet, but I've scoped it out and it looks like the Four Seasons of self-serve bath time. Should the need arise, I'll be there in a heartbeat, scrubbing her with lavender-scented shampoo while questioning my life choices. Now let's talk fashion, because THIS is where Tractor Supply really messed around and won my heart. Ladies--if you've been sleeping on their clothing section, wake up and get yourself to aisle cute. On a recent trip (post-spray tan, because health), my husband--clearly in an ice-cream-induced state of romantic delusion--picked out a black Columbia dress for me. I tried it on. I looked good. Like, country music video good. Suddenly he's handing me a Columbia skort, a white top, a sundress... and I'm walking out with a new wardrobe and the confidence of a woman who could absolutely ride a horse if necessary (I can't--but that's not the point). We didn't leave with a tractor. We don't need a tractor. We have gravel. But we did leave with a bag full of clothes, a chew toy shaped like a duck, and a renewed sense of purpose. So yeah--five stars. Tractor Supply, I don't know what kind of black magic you're working behind those hay bales and garden hoses, but keep it coming. George Strait would be proud.

When we got to cash register we brought it to the woman checking us out attention, the computer when the computer did not register the sale price. The man there said he could see the sign and told her it was 2/$14. She said she would adjust price and prior to using my credit card I said they are 2/$14 and she said yes. When we got home I checked receipt (should have done it there) and we were charged $7.99 for one and $7.19 for the second so 15.18 instead of $14.00 (plus minor tax difference). Will never shop at Tractor Supply again.
