Our air conditioning unit suddenly died. With over 100 degree weather, we figured the odds were that any air conditioning business would be booked for the day. We were right. We called Adon Complete Air Conditioning and Heating. Yes, they were booked for the day, but stated they would put us on the emergency waiting list. They would come out if there was a cancellation or they finished early, They came out that very day! The technician, Cooper, was exceptional. Not only was he polite and professional, he endured extreme heat conditions, in our attic, with composure and focus. What a gentleman! Cooper was able to fix a very difficult electrical problem. EXTREMELY slimy shady business. Have a yearly service contract ($145 a year).. company came out to do the service and found a capacitor going out on the AC unit. A capacitor is $20. It was also under warranty, but this company wants to charge a whopping $270 to replace this with labor. This is held in by two wires and a bracket. It takes 5-10 minutes to swap out, but they want to charge a whopping TWO hours of labor. This company is NOT to be trusted and is VERY SHADY and SLIMY. I feel bad for all the other homeowners who slap their card down without blinking twice or doing their own research. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! read more

I purchased a mini-split unit for my garage and had Adon install it. The sale and installation process went well with no delays. However, after some time, the unit developed a leak. Adon was responsive to my first call for support, and because my unit was under warranty, said they would fix or replace the unit if necessary. The more complicated the problem became, the slower they were to respond when I sought help until nobody from Adon would call me back despite repeated promises to do so 'before the end of the day'. The unit is still not fixed, and we started this journey in August. While I was happy with the installation process, I cannot recommend Adon as a company because of their excessively poor follow-up and lack of support. read more

I had a leaking HVAC unit which started on Saturday. I called them and they were able to show up the same day earlier than expected. They were able to easily diagnose the issue and fix it on the spot. Problem solved! In addition they were able to observe some environmental improvements to my system, as well as diagnose A performance issue with the unit they were working on. I've been using one company for the past several years who are based out of McKinney but now I live closer to Adon. I will be using these guys moving forward for all of my HVAC needs! I have been a customer of Adon for a couple of years now. I have had good experiences with them up to this point, and have left positive feedback about those experiences. Unfortunately, I now need to communicate a negative experience that I hope is not signaling a shift in how they handle their business. The bottom line is that you should request Adon provide a detailed estimate for the work to be done that includes line-item pricing. Their work is good quality.... Their billing process in this case, not so much... I have had an issue with a mini split not cooling well, assuming it needed some freon. I called Adon for service. During this process, I decided to get their VIP service membership on 2 systems, which would give me a 10% discount on parts and labor, discounted service call pricing, and 2 tune-ups per system per year. On this occasion, the tech found a coil leak, so he topped off the unit with 1lb of freon and went to research the coil replacement (the unit was under warranty, so coil part would be free with parts and labor charged at my discounted "VIP" rate). They provided the estimate (verbal only, my mistake there, for sure) for the work, which included the replacement of all the freon in the unit (3lb total). Having just had the freon added to the system, I knew how much that piece was adding to the total cost. I agreed to the work. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and the installers replaced the coil, but they didn't remove/replace the "old" freon. There was no freon required to be added to the system. I requested that they adjust the invoice since 3lbs of freon at $282 (at my discounted VIP rate would reduce to ~$255). The total price they quoted me was not adjusted when they sent me the new invoice that supposedly had the freon charge removed. They only applied the standard VIP 10% discount. They took an additional $50 off, so I was still out ~$200 of parts they didn't use that they still charged me for. So, just be sure to get them to line item estimates so you can have a clearer case for adjustments when they don't have to do things they included in their estimates.... read more

How does one adequately express life-changing impact in a single online review? To say that Adon CPS has provided my family with great service is a monumental understatement that cannot begin to convey the dramatic improvement to my family's health and qualify of life. We had several HVAC companies come out to our home over a couple of years and repair and tune (and still not solve main problems) and provide write ups (estimates) for our needs to address (replace etc ) our original builder installed system to our home (system age at time of inspections was about 15 years old ). Although the [old] original one functioned to its manufacturer specs , it did not meet the cooling and heating needs of the home. You can imagine our feelings of helplessness to hear our system worked as it should , but summers required running portable and window AC units (and space heaters in winter and all windows with thermal curtains ) in each room while running the central system (all the while generating very high usage bills ),and still struggle to cool a well maintained home to 80 (and forget getting much below that if at all) in summer, or low to /above low 60s in winter. We heard over and over we'd just needed to replace in favor of a much larger (and expensive ) new system.... Adon CPS on their first visit and just minutes into their review of our previous estimates and inspecting our system ,was able to diagnose our issues correctly and definitively (aspects none of the other "experienced" competitors ever bothered to mention). Where other providers just wrote up new system quotes for swap and drop of our exterior and interior equipment with upgrades to bigger ones, Adon was able to explain how other's estimates would not have solved our issues and would actually create new humidity problems. They were able to help me see in easy to understand terms how a better and more efficient design to how air was moved and delivered was the appropriate and effective solution to our problem . Ducting matters. The new units that would meet our needs were smaller, more efficient , and would outperform costlier oversized full replacement interior/exterior unit quotes we received from other area HVAC companies. I have nothing but complete confidence in the expertise, honesty, and integrity of the entire Adon team we've had the privilege of connecting with to serve our family. The value proposition Adon CPS offers is simple , the best quality service and equipment to provide the best solution possible. A few weeks ago, my old HVAC stopped blowing cold air and I called Adon Complete to inspect/repair the system. Lance Oktay was the repair technician that arrived and inspected the system. He found that the condenser motor had stopped working and recommended that it be replaced. I had an old system and paid $500 last year for a new control board. Thus, I had to make the decision to purchase a new $800+ motor for a 15+ year old system and continue trying to keep it running or simply make the change to a new system. I requested a couple of quotes (2-stage/2-stage variable units) from Lance to review. (Last year, I had received a few quotes from other HVAC companies, but had decided to replace the control board). Thus, I had 3-4 other quotes to compare to the Adon quotes. Their pricing was competitive and I was impressed with Lance's professionalism and him being able to answer all of my questions. I decided to purchase a new Trane 2-stage variable 5-ton HVAC to replace my older single-stage unit. They were able to schedule the job within a couple of days. I was surprised that it only took them about 4-5 hours to remove the old system and install the new system. I have had the new HVAC for about 3 weeks now and it is working perfectly. I would not recommend Adon. We called because our ac is broken and we were told that the compressor was out and it needed coolant. (Over $2400 in repairs!) we got a second opinion only to find out that the Adon tech didn't use the correct tools and damaged our caps in the a/c and it wasn't the compressor at all. It was a leaking coil. This proved to be true when it was refilled with coolant. I will say they refunded us our $74 dollars, so thank you! read more

As a REALTOR, time is money and keeping my personal home in top working order is important, but I personally do not have the time to manage everything needing done.
