I asked for extra salsa roja and salsa verde. The pico had a nice kick, the roja had a smoky flavor, and the verde was more on the roasted side. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of the verde, which was a bummer since it's usually my favorite. The chunky guac, though, was a solid 10/10. The margarita flights were 30% off, so that was an easy choice. Tons of flavor options to pick from, which was fun. For my main, I went with the Suizo burrito topped with melted Chihuahua cheese. I didn't love it -- maybe I'm spoiled living in the Quad Cities where we've got incredible Mexican spots on every corner. Something about it just felt a little off. To top it off, we were constantly swatting away flies at our table, which didn't help. Still, the service was great and our server was super friendly and attentive. It has quite a few beers on tap to choose from in a few styles. As for the food it's pretty average. There's a lot of meaty things. Crowded place with a bar area and tables for groups. It's best known for the beers obviously. There's a pretty great variety on tap. A lot more in bottles and cans. It's about $7 a pint. Best we had of these was the Oktoberfest. This is a Marzen lager that's rich and smooth. As for the food it's mostly meaty choices. It's about $5 to get the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. The rest of the menu has smoked brisket and pulled pork so the place is meaty. Got to say the beers are the best things to get here. It's closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
