The employees do not smile I'm wondering why businesses these days do not teach employees to smile and be nice to the customer. I loved this little spot for Mexican food on cinco de Mayo. The counter service was great. Everything's right there on the chalk board, lots of options to add to your burritos or tacos (similar to chipotle or pancheros) The chips and queso were REALLY GOOD! (Yes, there is bad queso out there in the world) Tacos were really good-fresh tortilla, fresh ingredients, yum! Only thing to be aware of is it's juicy, so if you're not super hungry-I recommend saying you want them to go so they are nice and wrapped except one.... otherwise they can get soggy. My fiancé got the burrito-he also said it was amazing Plus two margs! Little sweeter side but better than expected! Friendly staff-can't wait to try again read more

Had Mello Yello because bill over $10, although Jarritos beverages always great choice but I was very thirsty. Probably won't return but recommend spicier salsa with extra salsa. Could be worse! Way too many overcrowded and overpriced American cities. If you're proud to be obese and unhealthy then you can at least carry on that much. Ok well I just tried their nachos and they were just ok. For about the same price as Chipotle, next time I'll just go there. Only plus was the margarita, which was weak. They charge for the queso, on my nachos when their sign says it's free. Guacamole was extra and so was sour cream, so in essence 25$ for a watered down margarita and some 7/11 nachos with some meat......I'll definitely pass this place right by next time. read more

Lunch review: The Coke in bottles is enough for the four stars to this girl.... But we really enjoyed our lunch here. The decor leaves something to be desired. The urban sign / logo would lead you to believe the interior would be more "mod", for lack of a better word. The multiple salsas with multiple heat levels were divine. A nice change of pace for the other DBQ Mexican we've become accustomed to. I had three steak tacos ($1.75 / taco) and I enjoyed the simplicity of meat, cilantro, onions and lime wedges. On a diet then the Salad. The roast beef is spicier then the pork or the chicken. All three are good. There's also an all vegetable as well. Next move on to one of the two rices. I like the cilantro rice. I also like the black beans. Over the other types of beans. Then I loaded up with all the other vegetables including the corn and so on. There's plenty of hot sauce. Enjoy. I had heard good things about their burritos so I decided to head over and try one. Words cannot describe my disappointment. I decided to get the "Burrito Deluxe" from the menu since it has sour cream and I love sour cream. It was listed on the outside menu at $4.50. I walked in and found it on the menu, and it was $4.75. No big deal I thought, it's still a good deal. I ordered and it was ready pretty quickly. I carried it out and returned to work. I opened it up and was instantly disappointed. There was a puddle of watery grease across the bottom of the carry out container, and the burrito was no bigger than a taco bell taco. It contained Chicken and re-fried beans on the inside. The chicken was pretty good, but the tortilla was soggy and the beans were very gritty and paste-like. There was a few shreds of lettuce around, and a teaspoon sized amount of sour cream on the top in the middle. This wasn't even a burrito. It was a taco with beans. There was also no cheese included at all either. This was just a soggy taco, and didn't fill me up at all. It came with chips that were very typical. Not good, not bad. Just dry tortilla chips with no seasoning or salt. The salsa was decent though. Delicious burrito bar. They were very helpful in choosing what to put in my custom made burrito. It was huge a delicious. The burrito bar comes with a small bag of chips so don't make the mistake I did and order chips and guacamole. You can order the guacamole by itself. They had this picture of tacos with lime and queso fresco, so I was all excited that we were eating at a pretty authentic restaurant, but what I received instead was the Americanized version of Mexican food.
