I'm only here updating because we were told that there is new management. This new management is changing the way they order draft beers. Instead of full sized kegs only order half sized. Instead of canned beers and ciders, none at all. Or your favorite might be on draft, but LOL the draft is empty. Not sure I like these changes and I'm going to see how well they fare in the warmer months.

You can choose the bar, a high top, or the outdoor bar when the weather is nice enough (you'll always find me at the bar). There are some stairs to get up here, but you'll be rewarded with a view of the marina...and route 35....and if you look hard enough the parkway....ok there are stairs that lead up to a bar, that's all you gotta know. The steak was a poor cut. The jambalaya lacked flavor. The protein on the dish was all overcooked. Dessert THE Elvis -- sounded sooo delicious but was basically a spoonful of peanut butter. Even the ice cream they served with it could not drown out the overpowering peanut butter flavor. I did enjoy the cappuccino. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and he didn't even eat his meal. It was that bad. Sadly, one and done for us. I know they changed their menu so perhaps this is not their best lineup but I cannot forgive the terrible presentation. The price point for what they are presenting its insane.

The place is basically a road house (Nic's Hometown Tavern) with very little ambiance, but was welcoming. Hey Burger seems to be an additional tag. One step up from a dive bar and I can imagine that it gets pretty busy later in the day. If in the area, I will stop in again!

The staff is always professional and service is typically quick. Since this establishment does primarily takeout, expect to wait longer Friday-Sunday. Expect to use street parking, which can be a little tricky when it's busy for a quick takeout order (however I rarely have trouble except for a Friday or Saturday night). This is a classic pizzeria style restaurant. It's nothing fancy, but the food is delicious.
