The good: This is a long overdue review. My brows look great still and it has been 3 years. I got my brows done with Amanda 3 years ago and this was my third experiencing with microblading. Out of all my experiences, Amanda's work has been the best because it has LASTED all this time without looking faded, blurred or worn down. With the first person who microbladed my brows at a different place in Santa Clara, it faded after 6 months and she said it was because my skin was too oily. With the 2nd place I got it done at (in New York), it lasted around 1-1.5 years and weren't even. With Amanda, my brows were even and lasted so long. They look natural. Originally she added more arch than I liked but adjusted it based on my feedback during the session when she did a sample sketch. I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Amanda! The bad: I moved to SoCal so I'll have to fly back north to get any more services! But, my brows are so intact still that I might not need to for a long time! Sooooo I absolutely love coming to Linda! She's so knowledgeable when it comes to microblading and I 100% trust her. It's my first time getting a tattoo so I was pretty nervous but Linda was very nice and made me feel really comfortable through out the process. She asked me if I was doing okay constantly and I thought that's very nice of her that's just bonus, the best part is her great work and eye for details! So my daughter kept telling me I "had" to do this microblading - as my eyebrows were thinning and depending how rushed i was to get ready in the morning my brows looked different everyday - too dark, shaped differently on each brow, etc. So as a gift - she made an appointment with Linda to do my brows and I'm SO THRILLED she did it. I was a bit nervous - anticipating the pain and Linda was very aware and sensitive to that... She's young but SO very professional and VERY experienced and knowledgeable. I mentally had to tell myself - gave birth to 3 kids - I can do this - easy peasy... well i'm older now and it wasn't easy peasy BUT Linda made it so relaxing. Her studio is clean, bright, with music in the background. And you can tell she knows EXACTLY what to do... She was easy to talk to and what an enterprising smart talented young woman... I love that she outlines everything first - lets you pick the color with sound advise and a follow up for a touch up after 6 weeks is included - LOVE it. Her after care instructions were right on - had NO issues... was a bit itchy but the ointment helped alot. Would just put it on with a Qtip 3 times a day (more if more itchy) and I healed very nicely. Went on vacation to Europe and didn't have to worry about my brows at all. Was perfect and consistent!! I did do the touch up - as after the 6 weeks it seemed too light - so she touched it up with a darker color - filled in some of the lighter spaces - and I LOVE it! Looks SO NATURAL - luckily I still have some eyebrows left so it does look like I have some and the other areas she filled in is SO NATURAL looking. I've gotten compliments on my brows and now my girlfriends are willing to drive the distance from San Mateo to San Jose! :) i'm definitely going to continue with Linda and keep this up.. she also provides care guidelines to help you with having the brows last longer! I used to stress so hard about my brows, but not anymore thanks to Linda!! Those who know me know I don't leave home without my brows done because well.. I basically have no brows. My brow journey with her has been an emotional (all good emotions!) game changer. Micro blading has changed my confidence and routine so much! Linda's studio is very chic and clean. She went through all the steps and answered every concern I had about the process. She measured out everything, outlined/re-outlined until things were perfect, numbed the area and began her art. I was being a little scaredy-cat but she talked with me and distracted me from my anxiety lol. The microblading itself wasn't painful, trust when I say tweezing and waxing hurts way more. During the first session, she explained the entire process very throughly and answered all my questions. I decided to go with Linda because of the way she shapes brows. When I was looking at her Instagrams pictures, all the brows she created are very natural looking. She followed your bone structure and face shape perfectly. I love the shape she gave me. She took her time shaping my eyebrows and made sure I was happy with them before proceeding. My pain tolerance is very VERY low and I was totally fine. After the numbing cream, it just felt like little pressure. Her stokes are thin and crisp! It's also good that her price included the first touch up between 4-6 weeks to maximize your result. And they look super natural! She also listens and cares about what you want. I wanted to go a tad darker for my touch up but not like a whole shade darker and she made it work for me!! I was recommended to Linda from a coworker whose brows look amazing and natural and Linda definitely did it disappoint. I would spend about 5-10 mins shaping and filling in my eyebrows everyday which were uneven. Linda spent a lot of time with the shape and made sure I was happy with them before starting the microblading. The process didn't hurt too much because of the numbing cream. All in all the procedure took about two hours the first time. Having never gotten my face tattooed I was feeling a little apprehensive however Linda was reassuring and patient with all of my questions leading up to the procedure.
