Very helpful. Atif and the team here were helpful, informative, and flexible--all things that were very helpful to us as first time home buyers. read more

Atif and his team are absolutely the best. I used Adelo for my first home about five years ago, and didn't think twice about going back recently. I got married in December, and my wife and I put an offer on our house a week later. We had a lot going on, with me selling my house in November, us closing on a house in January, and selling my wife's house in February. Adelo made things so easy and stress-free because of how seamless things were with everything that goes into the buying process, and with Atif explaining all the important details to us long before we had even made an offer on a place. Highly highly recommend. read more

Adelo Mortgage is an amazing shop who does hands on transactions for my clients. From start to finish they are great communicators. Getting a home loan mortgage is a daunting & scary experience. The team at Adelo takes the fear away. They truly pull the rabbit out of the hat if necessary. Give Atif, Jeremy and the team a call. You will be so glad you did. read more

Atif and the team were exceptional. They helped my wife and I with the entire process, which is straightforward yet daunting. But Adelo was always honest and reliable with us throughout it all. That's impressive considering they did it during a pandemic! Thanks Atif and everyone at Adelo! Matt and Maryann read more

In a challenging situation, Adelo, (Atif, Kelli, Jeremy and the entire team) made our lives as easy as they possibly could. Due to delays in construction, my family was purchasing a home facing, what I imagine, are some of the most difficult combinations of challenges possible. 1. We had a newborn infant, were all terribly sleep-deprived, and my wife had her hands more-than-full recovering. 2. I was starting a new gig which required an extra level of necessary due diligence. 3. The new job required significant time and travel. From what I do remember through many sleep-deprived nights, the Adelo team saw us through the process with grace and aplomb even when things were absolutely chaotic on our side. Jeremy and Kelli were thorough and patient in helping collect and in processing all of the additional verification necessary to the new job. Moreover, while I hope it's neither desirable nor normal for Atif, he would make himself available on weekends and evenings as my schedule permitted to have discussions, moving the process along to a successful conclusion. The Adelo team's expertise and kindness were greatly appreciated and are heartily recommended. read more

My husband and I just purchased an amazing home in Austin, and we could not have done it without the help of Atif Ahmad and his Adelo Mortgage team. We started the process with almost no knowledge of how mortgages worked or what we could afford. Atif took the time to meet with us (well after hours to accommodate our schedule), and he explained the process to us fully and in a way we could understand. He was always available from that point on to answer any questions we had or to run numbers for us. I think the average email or phone call response time couldn't have been more than five minutes. Even on the weekends! Atif is clearly passionate about the work he does, and he's assembled a team of friendly, professional folks who are wonderful to work with. Don't go with one of the big banks - you will never get the level of service you will from Adelo Mortgage. This is a stellar local business run by a genuinely great guy, and I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Atif was super helpful in helping my wife and I buy our new home! Having never been through the home buying process before, we wanted some to hold our hands through everything and explain exactly what we were getting into. After some phone calls and vetting multiple brokers we ended up going with Atif at Adelo due to how personable he was, his prompt response over email and calls but mostly for his ability to explain the entire process to us succinctly. As we were buying during the election season, Atif was even tuned into the political horizon and helped us lock in a great interest rate! THANKS ATIF! We highly recommend him and Adelo! read more

Atif at Adelo Mortgage was recommended to us by our realtor. He was flexible enough to meet us on a weekend and de-mystify the entire mortgage process. We had met a couple other mortgage lenders but we felt the most comfortable working with Adelo. We were on a tight contract schedule and needed to get our loan approved around Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The staff at Adelo made sure that the process was finished on time and everyone was always available to answer our questions. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

I will definitely get my next mortgage at Adelo if I am ever purchasing a home again. My experience with Atif was excellent, as he was able to come up with a creative loan for my specific situation. A lot of other lenders were uninterested or intimidated by what I was requesting. Atif was able to help me figure out a good solution and was quite helpful throughout the whole process. I am very appreciative I ran into Atif, I highly recommend this lender. read more

Atif and his team were recommended to me by my realtor. I did my due diligence and shopped around at a few other places, but in the end, Atif was not only the most helpful out of the bunch - but he also got me the best rate. I would absolutely recommend giving Adelo a call. read more

Atif and his team were wonderful! We just purchased a home near Austin from out of state and Adelo Mortgage made the process smooth and easy. Instructions on what was needed were very clear, I was kept up to date on where we were in the process and they were always available if I had any questions. Purchasing a home is always stressful and having a mortgage company that was organized and consistent made a big difference. We closed on time as planned and couldn't be happier with our choice of mortgage companies! Thank you Adelo! read more

I used Adelo Mortgage to purchase a home in Central Austin in 2010. Atif Ahmad is exceedingly professional, curteous, and knowledgable. As a first-time home buyer, he made an otherwise complex process simplified and understandable. Since purchasing my home, Atif has maintained contact and is always willing to discuss any questions or issues I may have regarding refinancing or prepaying my principal. I would highly recommend Adelo Mortgage to everyone, friends and family included. read more

Atif and his team at Adelo have helped me with many loans over the years, beginning in 2005 with my first home purchase. In each case, their work has been absolutely first rate, with excellent advise, support and guidance throughout the entire process. I really must single Atif out also for always taking the time to discuss with me in great detail any questions or issues I might have. I will definitely use Adelo again for any of future loan needs, and I wholeheartedly recommend them as well. read more

Used Atif for 3 cash out refis and 2 home purchases (investment properties) Much better pricing than big banks, and comparable to the online warehouses But you get a real person, who is knowledgeable and will pursue complicated situations I am using him right now to investigate whether I should do another Atif gets things done read more

It's important to note that I worked in the mortgage industry for a few years, writing software to help mortgage brokers and lenders be more efficient and customer-focused in their work. With that as context, I've dealt with a lot of brokers and lenders over the years, and when it came time to buy a home in Austin, I was referred to Atif and his team at Adelo. My situation was not an easy one - in particular because I was keeping my previous home in California, which had a unique lending scenario, and my new home in Austin was a jumbo loan by a big margin. The lenders/underwriters asked for an unending list of historical financial information, and Atif and his team (and in particular Jeremy) were efficient, polite, quick to respond, and always helpful in making it as easy as possible. In addition, Atif did a good job of managing the market fluctuations and locking my rate just when it was at its low. No loan is a simple process these days, but Atif and his team are admirable partners, and I would recommend them without hesitation. read more

As a first time home buyer, I had the best experience working with Atif and team. I considered choosing a big bank, but the ability to walk into their office and have Atif walk me through the entire process and numbers was incredibly comforting. Getting update calls every week from Jeremy furthered that sentiment. Thank you guys! Highly recommend! read more

I spoke to a lot of different mortgage companies before deciding on Adelo. They were the most professional and easiest to work with. They went out of their way to answer every question I had. As a first-time home buyer, they carefully walked through all of my options and what to expect. I couldn't have gotten my home without them. They have a customer for life. read more

The Adelo team was very helpful and professional when we purchased on a home in 2012. Atif was very thorough in finding us the best loan available with the terms we were looking for. I spoke to a few companies before deciding to work with Adelo. Atif and his team were helpful, reassuring and so easy to work with. Their flexibility, knowledge and warmth was so appreciated and these qualities set them apart from the other companies I spoke with. This was my first home buying experience, and they fielded all of my (many!) questions with detailed email replies and phone conversations. They also kept me abreast of how the process was moving every step of the way from underwriting to closing, even advising on the best dates to lock in the lowest rates possible. I can't speak highly enough about work with Adelo! read more

Atif and his team really made the whole process worry-free. They worked with me from the start to understand the exact kind of financing I desired and then gave me options to consider. Everything was easy and online, so no waiting on paperwork, etc. Atif even showed up at my closing to make sure everything went smoothly! Try getting that kind of service from a big bank and you'll see that it doesn't compare. I'd recommend Adelo to anybody looking to finance a home. read more

We worked with Atif, who was AMAZING! When we were looking for mortgage for our first home, none of the companies that we talked to gave the level of service that Adelo and Atif provided us. Since we were first time buyers, we had a lot of questions and we needed good advisors. Atif was the only person out of several others who was willing to spend time explaining every single detail of a mortgage. He was an excellent advisor and was always repeating the key aspects of the business. Other companies were simply providing a mortgage estimate with no further explanation. Atif was always willing to spend the necessary amount of time with us to make sure that we understood everything. He was an excellent advisor. He also met us on the closing day to make sure that everything was clear and make sure that we had all of our questions answered. We would recommend Atif and Adelo 100%. read more

My husband and I just bought our first home with the help of Adelo Mortgage. Atif, Jeremy and Sabrina were all very knowledgeable and responsive. I have worked with Adelo Mortgage twice and cannot say enough about how great they are! They were in constant contact throughout the entire process both times and made a difficult process much easier. They can move mountains and move them quickly. Atif attended my first closing and even though he couldn't attend the 2nd one, he called to make sure I'd found the parking, let me know the easiest way to find the office, etc. He and his staff are WONDERFUL!! I recommend them 100%! If only all businesses worked this way! read more
