I had no idea what the first steps were towards buying a home, and I was feeling unsure about how possible it even would be for us. I feel so very fortunate to have been introduced to James who made the entire process completely contradictory to all of the negative stories we had been hearing about how stressful buying a home could be! Earlier this year, James pulled our credit report and worked up an initial fees worksheet for us. We weren't financially ready to buy in January, but we finally had a number in mind to start working towards. It was that first step that got us excited and focused on saving. Five months later, we circled back to James to start the process. We seriously felt like we were getting the royal treatment - there was nothing stressful about it! James consistently was proactive at communicating important information and made sure we understood everything every step of the way. Even at one point that we needed to rework some numbers with only a couple of hours of room to work within when negotiating with our seller, James took care of it super fast. At our closing party - er signing - we were all smiles :-) If you dream of owning your own home and feel clueless as to how to make it happen, I would highly recommend you go ahead and call James Dowis - you may be closer to reaching your goal than you think!

As new homeowners, my husband and I have been pretty clueless about this whole homeownership/lending/mortgage process and, y'all. Seriously, y'all. Adrienne has been INCREDIBLE! Having worked with Bill in the past, we were prepared and grateful for his expertise and support. And Adrienne, well, she has surpassed all expectation as a new support member on our team. If you get a chance to work with either, jump on it. We are so excited and thankful to have Adrienne added to our team and if you're looking to secure a loan and buy a home, you cannot find better than this team and these folks. The care and truly genuine support and willingness to guide us through this process has been unparalleled. Adrienne has been patient and kind and open to explaining and researching and honest when she doesn't know an answer and immediate in her searching for it. So often in these spaces, folks will just act like they know all and pat you one the head and tell you "don't worry about it," but Adrienne will create space for jumbled thoughts and questions and will truly involve you in the process. Bill has also (both times) been willing to take calls after hours or on weekends when my and my husband's schedules didn't allow for business hours. You really feel cared for and guided with this team. First time home buying is scary and overwhelming sometimes, but this team truly shepards you through the process with great care and gentle guidance. I know I keep using words like "support" "care" and "guidance" and I ought to hop over to thesaurus.com for less redundant language But this has truly been our experience and we are just so incredibly grateful!

They are by far the best home lenders that we have worked with in our 25 years (and six houses) of home purchasing experience. Once we found a house, they were on top of it and took care of everything from there (appraisal, home. insurance, locking in a great rate, etc). I am still pinching myself on how lucky we got when we found them. I can't thank them enough for making this the most smooth and process for us. 10/10 We highly recommend them and will definitely recommend them to all of our friends!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, DO NOT!…read more Supreme Lending and Shannon Lasater are liars and cheats. They will send an "appraiser" out who will inflate your homes value and decide what repairs THEY want done. They also use this "appraiser" as an inspector to judge work done. Shady business practices, at best. We have done all repairs listed on the "Escrow Holdback Agreement" but NOW Shannon is demanding more repairs not listed. Supreme Lending and Shannon are now holding our excess funds (+$8000.00) hostage. Not to mention, the foundation repair company still has not been paid for their services rendered. A full 3 weeks post work. All paperwork signed on our side. $17,000.00+ is owed to this company. We know even "when" we complete their latest demands, we will NEVER see our monies. Supreme Lending and Shannon Lasater have a great scam going. They will lend you money but won't ACTUALLY release those funds to you. They will add barriers and do all they can to keep your money. Even after you complete any "last minute whimsical, tasks", you will just be thrown more tasks/barriers. They will make/create any reason for them to renege on giving you your money. GUARANTEED! Supreme Lending and Shannon Lasater will lie, rape and pillage your funds, dignity and family to line their own pockets with YOUR money. We have spent the last 120+ days living the pure hell Shannon Lasater & Supreme Lending cast upon us. With no end in sight. We should have followed our instincts. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND KEEP RUNNING!!
