Addison's Pot Roast French Dip

went here for valentines day and it was excellent! food was delicious and the service was amazing! we will be coming back!

Pulled Pork Nachos
Jack S.

My favorite restaurant during my time at mizzou by far. Pulled pork nachos are the best nachos I have ever had (the homemade chips are truly one of a kind). Every time my parents came to town this was a staple for us. The addisons burger and wings were also favorites

Great food and service. We sat at the bar where Nico helped us. Try the Mojito fries-they're great. Also a big thumbs up to the Asian chicken tacos, the pulled pork and the pizza.

Always listen to your wife. Traveling from STL to KC, we needed a lunch break. Yelp to the rescue. Columbia has many choices, and after reading several, she chose Addison's. We found easy street parking and were seated in a booth as soon as we entered. A few mins to peruse the menu and our server was there to get the order. My wrap was interesting, as i would never consider bleu cheese steak with mashed potato's, but if was enjoyable. My wife's Red White and Green, again was not something I would have ever considered, but it to, was good. I enjoyed the artwork they had there, it was reproductions of Thomas Hart Benton's work.

Our large group had a memorable experience!! Everything was delicious, and service for the crowd was attentive. We enjoyed every dish and left happy!

What a great spot downtown! Our first time in the city and we were looking for some great nachos... Atmosphere: Bustling... this place was packed to the brim on a saturday evening, luckily there was only two of us and we got a table within 30 minutes.Pretty standard decor with a bar taking up most of the restaurant but overall a pleasing environment. Loud obviously but that was not a negative. Food: Pulled Pork Nachos - Our famous pasta chips topped with pepper jack cheese sauce, tomatoes, scallions, banana peppers, pulled pork, mozzarella cheese, and our house-made BBQ sauce. WOW! this is a MUST get everything just works together SO well. the chips themselves were so pillowy soft it's like nothing we have ever had before. Half Wrap & Soup - Choose a half wrap from our Smoked Turkey Club Wrap, or the Black Bean & Thai Peanut Wrap. Served with a cup of our soup of the day. (Does not include side) We went with the Smoked Turkey Club and the soup of the day was potato. At $12.00 this was the best value meal on the trip. This was super flavorful and the soup was creamy and delicious. Bleu Steak Wrap - Grilled marinated steak sautéed with mushrooms, wrapped with blue cheese and mashers in a soft tomato tortilla. Steak was semi-tender, the blue cheese was very nice and the potatoes were EXCELLENT. Overall the meat could have been a bit more tender and im not sure it really lends itself to a "sandwich". Id pass on this one. Sweet potato chips were fine. Nice Menu with something for everyone Sauce Tip: Ask for their ranch it's terrific Must have: NACHOS Price: prices were very reasonable considering the area. $12.00-$20.00 Parking: all street parking with meters until 7pm Service: If it's possible for actual service to be too quick... that was this we got our appetizer and within 5 minutes had both our dishes. Overall a very positive experience and worth coming back for!

I'm a Mizzou alum who remembered the appetizer Nachos from 13 years ago. On our way to KC from St. Louis we stopped in Columbia for lunch and chose Addison's. My boyfriend had the Diablo Shrimp Pasta and of course I had the Nachos with black beans. The Nachos are ridiculously good with the Kalamata olives and banana peppers. I think there's 2 types of cheese on them too. The portion is crazy big! It is an app. so it's meant to be shared. My boyfriend remembered having and loving the pasta he got; he said it was still great. Nothing wrong with the service. I will return during Homecoming weekend!

Overcooked sweet potato chips

Friendly staff and delicious blue cheese dressing. Very disappointed in my overly cooked sweet potato chips that were so crispy I could not eat them. Pulled pork sandwich has a good taste but the meat was overcooked.

Crab rangoon dip

The food was great, especially the crab rangoon dip! The ambience was nice and not too overwhelming.

Excellent food. We ordered their famous nachos and mahi tacos. We made a beeline to Addison's after the football game and we sat at the bar. Service was a little slow at first (why I gave only 4 stars) then 35 minutes later more staff arrived. Great food, great atmosphere and great location. No call ahead seating. Arrive early or plan to wait.

Italian nachos
Jazzy S.

We come here mainly for happy hour! Their Italian nachos are yummy and a great deal! Drink specials are pretty good too. The service has been good, we've never had any issues. - Italian nachos (4/5): solid, love the different type of chip, more flour based vs corn. The toppings add the perfect crunch and flavor - Flatbread cuban (4/5): we were surprised at how yummy this sandwich was! The flavors were perfect, and the mojito sauce is a great addition. Fries are good but not great

Chicken nachos might be the best menu item in all of Columbia. Highly recommend trying this place out. Columbia favorite.

The nachos are widely hyped. I came in with very high hopes and wasn't blown away, but it's a good option!

The guy who gave me my food and cooked it seemed a lot friendlier and gave me a smile. The food was just not good. I hate to be harsh but the taste was off. My boyfriend agreed that something just did not taste right. I appreciate them cooking it right then and there, so I was expecting a good taste but did not receive that. If there are better choices in the area, i recommend going to them any day. for improvement, the staff needs to be friendlier and more inviting!! i've seen that in a couple other of their reviews too!

Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.
