Had a large party but was seated quickly with good service. It was not loud, the food was good, and our drinks were quickly refilled. The portions were also very large and everything seemed fresh.

We came in 30 min before close on a weeknight, 9:30 pm........ They were so friendly and courteous! Immediately sat , order taken , and hot fresh food in minutes. We were not in a hurry or rushed, enjoyed our food and was out the door before 10 pm normal closing for that night! Food was great ! Recommend!! We will be back !

This place is delicious! I had the Arroz Polo Special (might be off on the spelling, see pic). It's basically chicken and sautéed veggies on a bed of rice, covered in cheese. Amazing!! Plus, it comes with guacamole and sour cream on the side. Love it. The chips and salsa are very good too. The chips were thin and crispy, two key traits IMO. The salsa was excellent as well. Thin, not chunky, with the right amount of heat. That said, the salsa had a bit too much cilantro for my taste. Highly recommend you check it out. It's also a bit more of an upscale settings compared to other Mexican restaurants I've patronized. Plus, they have outdoor dining too.

Chile Colorado

Chips were hot and salsa had just a little heat - thin salsa but with lots of cilantro flavor. I ordered the Chile Colorado which was under $10 and was a good sized portion. It was accompanied by 3 homemade tortillas. Also, retried beans and Mexican rice. Fast service.

Not melted cheese

They charged $6 for a small amount of queso they charged for the limes even though they come with the meal and when we called it in the dude was barely listening and hung up when we didn't even finish the order you also have to pay $1.50 for extra salsa even though it was a meal for 5 people and the cheese taste like it's expired and isn't even melted they also charged just to take the food

Shrimp fajitas and fixings

We were here the Friday of Parents Weekend at Mizzou, and were running behind trying to figure out where to eat as it was getting close to 6:30. Looked at the reviews for here and they were a bit mixed, but decided to try it anyway, and we are soooo glad we did! I don't know where these other people were at, or if it was years ago, but we were THRILLED with not only the service, but the ambiance and food! We were seated right away (such a rarity on a Friday night!!) and had the BEST margaritas! Chips and salsa were fantastic and the entree's were delicious! I would have given 5 stars but my dinner was described as being made with corn tortillas, which I LOVE, but came out with flour tortillas instead. The dinner was still excellent, I was just craving the corn tortillas so was a little let down there. Absolutely will go back when we return to Columbia!

Great food, service and margaritas! We're from out of town, so you never know what you're going to get but we were quite pleased.

The same kind of food you would expect At a best western or motel 6. $25 a person for low fare continental breakfast. And they ran out of syrup!!! Please, go somewhere else. Worst dining experience I've had in a looong time. I really hope the owner sees this and realizes what an awful experience he created for our graduation brunch.

Had really high hopes for this place after a long day on the road. The menu looked inventive and…read moreamazing. Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.

My drink had a rose petal in it, but that little touch didn't feel contrived or cheeky - it was just a nice pop of color in a great-tasting drink. The baked Boursin cheese was absolutely amazing - I walked out of there realizing I probably ate half a wheel of cheese, and I totally didn't regret it. Dinner was the highlight - I ordered the boom boom shrimp - served on a bed of sushi rice, there were mangos, thinly sliced jalapeños, purple cabbage, shrimp fried to perfection, and a nicely flavored boom boom sauce on top. My only criticism of this place is that plates come out of the kitchen as they make them, so be prepared to share a dish or wait. We were halfway through my dinner before my friend's fish and chips arrived. I'm happy to share, but I'm not a fan of this dining trend. Overall fantastic dinner experience!!
