    Burrito carne asada

This place is pretty popular so we wanted to check it out. We like the location by the lake, would love to sit out on the patio next time. Overall, the ambiance and service are typical for a tex mex place. The food is okay, not the best in my opinion. They also messed up our order, which isn't a huge deal. But overall would come back mainly for the patio. - Burrito carne asada (4/5): pretty good flavor overall, the salsa verde is my favorite. I prefer the carne asada over other beef. Beans and rice are yummy - Cheese steak tacos (3/5): good but would like more toppings/veggies. Overall a good portion size

I came here today because we are staying in a hotel for my golf tournament. Looked like a good place to eat. Me and my family are Mexican food coni suers we got some cheese dip to start and it was really good. The vibe was different than an authentic restaurant, the music also different. The service was good too. Food came out somewhat fast. The cheese and chicken enchiladas were GREAT. The cheese one was the best I've ever had. If you don't like veggies don't get the chicken one. Beans and rice also great. Overall a wonderful spot by the college campus. 5 stars. S tier

If you want VIP treatment at this establishment then it's best to dine in. If you call in directly without using a delivery service, then you'll get your order quicker than ordering online through a delivery service. If you're thinking about ordering online through a delivery service, then be prepared to wait for extended periods of time. This restaurant does not PRIORITIZE online delivery orders in the manner in which they were received! In fact, all online orders are pushed back and not even started until the delivery driver arrives in which causes a delay for both the customer and the driver. Also, if the delivery person asks questions about the customer's order, then there's a possibility that the order will be damaged upon receiving it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this! I absolutely do not recommend! What you're seeing is a delivery orders received 20 minutes after waiting. It was pouring rain so all drivers including myself had to drive slow because visibility was poor with the rain! This is how I received the order in which I didn't notice it until I removed it from my seat and handed it to the customer in which was very upset. To the young lady at the front, Professionalism, kindness and being courteous as well as honest, goes a long way, please request customer service skills to better assist everyone involved and to prevent this kind of review!

My two tiny thin napkins for my whole table when I asked for "extra" and by extra it was because one comes wrapped in the silverware. Stupid

The fajitas were delicious, but my typical favorite Colorado burrito was super salty. The salsa is good. Will try again.

My drink had a rose petal in it, but that little touch didn't feel contrived or cheeky - it was just a nice pop of color in a great-tasting drink. The baked Boursin cheese was absolutely amazing - I walked out of there realizing I probably ate half a wheel of cheese, and I totally didn't regret it. Dinner was the highlight - I ordered the boom boom shrimp - served on a bed of sushi rice, there were mangos, thinly sliced jalapeños, purple cabbage, shrimp fried to perfection, and a nicely flavored boom boom sauce on top. My only criticism of this place is that plates come out of the kitchen as they make them, so be prepared to share a dish or wait. We were halfway through my dinner before my friend's fish and chips arrived. I'm happy to share, but I'm not a fan of this dining trend. Overall fantastic dinner experience!!

I was wrong! They still have so many of the menu items that I loved from years ago and they still hit the spot. Honey butter pretzel bites? Yes please. Garlic wok edamame? Yuuuup. We also got the fried dumplings and truffle fries. Ransom assortment, yes -- but everything was very yummy. The drinks here are delicious, but bring back the moonshine sour! Since they don't have it anymore I went with a spicy margarita which was still very good. Our server, Rachel, was so sweet and welcoming. Room 38 has never done me wrong and for that I am grateful.

Things started out well, the BF had a tasty Manhattan and I had a mocktail that was subtle and delicious, and not overpriced as mocktails often are. But alas. The house salads that we ordered were overdressed in a vinaigrette so acidic we couldn't finish them. And there wasn't much to them. Other than greens and fried shallots and pickled red onions, there was a tiny dusting of some finely grated cheese. And who needs two kinds of onions and nothing else on the salad? Then we each had a bowl of the matzo ball soup, which was ridiculous. Three matzo balls sitting in a quarter-inch of broth that was so unbelievably salty that we couldn't eat that either. We ended up asking for hot water to dilute the broth to a level of saltiness that was edible. The chicken was okay and the matzo balls were okay. A little gummy. But the broth was just awful. It all made me wonder if the chef had lost their sense of taste due to Covid or something. Seriously. I've had that happen to me a couple of times and all I could taste was really basic stuff like sour and salt. And our waitress was totally uninterested in trying to make our experience better. She wasn't rude, she was just indifferent to the fact that we'd been served two courses that we absolutely couldn't eat. Didn't offer us anything to compensate or even express any sympathy about it. We got out of there as fast as we could and made ourselves feel better with an Andy's frozen custard.
