Really nice restaurant. I wish the weather had been better as they have a beautiful deck overlooking a lake. They were very busy at 5:30pm on a Friday. But we didn't have to wait for a table. For a table of 7 they brought out 3 baskets of free chips and salsa. The chips were good. The salsa was very good with a bit of heat. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Checked on us, didn't hover but kept our drinks filled. The peach, strawberry and original margaritas were enjoyed! The shrimp chimichanga was huge and delicious. The shrimp quesadillas were also huge. The tomatoes made it a little too runny. It also didn't have enough cheese. We wouldn't order it again. It was just ok. I'll try something different next time. The T-bone steak with garlic shrimp was better than expected! The steak was a little over cooked but flavor was good. The shrimp were great! Steak fajitas were very good. I had a chimichanga delivered. It came in a container with pico de gallo, lettuce, guacamole and sour cream. The pico had so much liquid in it that it flooded the container bottom which soaked the other items, and the chimichanga into a gloppy mess. I fed it to my dogs. We live close to Las Margaritas so we tend to go there out of convenience, We have eaten there approximately two times a year for the past six years. I guess my memory is short because each time we go there I wonder why?.... The food is terrible. I read all the reviews about how fantastic it is and just have to wonder. I have been all over the world and eaten Mexican food and never has any restaurant been so bad. The food is overly salty and otherwise tasteless. It certainly is not fresh. The most recent order was just a couple of tacos, refried beans and refried rice (very difficult to mess up). The tacos had wilted lettuce and the meat (beef) was more like an over salted paste with the consistency of baby food. If I were to guess, i think it was cooked/heated numerous times, resalted and re-served. Whoever salted it must be a smoker who no longer has taste buds. The refried beans did not taste right even if they did come straight out of a can. Most refried beans do come out of a can and taste just fine just not this time. In short, I am in no way, shape or form a "foody" with high expectations. Everything I said above is no exaggeration. Period! Our group of three LOVED our dinner at Las Margaritas! The restaurant was super busy, but the atmosphere was still fantastic, the patio was peaceful, and the servers were hustling like crazy all without making anyone feel rushed. Our server was Jay, and we wanted for nothing the entire time we were there. Chips and salsa were replenished, drinks refilled, and used dishes quietly removed without us having to ask for a thing, despite the fact that he was clearly super busy. We had an extremely disappointing experience at Las Margarita on Mother's Day. After being seated, we waited over 20 minutes without any acknowledgment from our server. I had to get up and ask the hostess who our server even was something that should never happen in a well-run restaurant. When the server finally did arrive, they took our drink order but then served drinks to other tables who were seated after us, and even took additional drink and food orders from those tables before we were brought so much as a glass of water. We flagged the issue to the manager, expecting at least a basic apology or some effort to correct the situation, but nothing was done. The service continued to be inattentive and dismissive, and by that point, the damage was done. For what was supposed to be a special Mother's Day dinner, this experience was frankly awful. We left feeling frustrated and ignored. We will not be returning to Las Margarita, and I would not recommend it to others based on this level of service. read more

I came here today because we are staying in a hotel for my golf tournament. Looked like a good place to eat. Me and my family are Mexican food coni suers we got some cheese dip to start and it was really good. The vibe was different than an authentic restaurant, the music also different. My only complaint is that the wait to get our drinks, our orders in, our checks, etc was so, so long. It took almost a half an hour just for us to get water. If you call in directly without using a delivery service, then you'll get your order quicker than ordering online through a delivery service. If you're thinking about ordering online through a delivery service, then be prepared to wait for extended periods of time. This restaurant does not PRIORITIZE online delivery orders in the manner in which they were received! In fact, all online orders are pushed back and not even started until the delivery driver arrives in which causes a delay for both the customer and the driver. Also, if the delivery person asks questions about the customer's order, then there's a possibility that the order will be damaged upon receiving it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this! I absolutely do not recommend! What you're seeing is a delivery orders received 20 minutes after waiting. It was pouring rain so all drivers including myself had to drive slow because visibility was poor with the rain! 5 freaking stars!!!! This place has incredible Mexican food. I'm from Phoenix, so I'm relatively picky when it comes to authentic Mexican food. However, Las margaritas blew me away. My favorite item is the arrows margaritas plate. This dish is stacked to the brim with three different types of protein, rice, bell peppers, onions, and all topped with a "healthy" serving of queso. I am giving this one star because of my experience 2 hours ago. I may cool down and feel like giving a 2 star later. I still think their food is quite flavorful as compared to others in the area (after La Terraza of course ), the décor is attractive and the location quite tranquil. The service however lets them down. Most of the wait staff are polite but some can be aloof and appear disinterested. I ordered a pickup via GrubHub for lunch today as both of us (Me and the Mrs.) had a busy morning and then had meetings at 1:00 PM and we live less than a mile away. We ordered a Fajita and a Pozole. The pickup time was between 12:15 and 12:25. I reached at 12:26 to pick up and then the front desk person asked me to call GrubHub and inform that they are out of Pozole. I was quite stunned. This was something they had to do and when they received the order, not when I come to pick it up. Being the agreeable person, I mumbled about my 1:00 PM meeting and asked them if they could just substitute it with anything else. The person disagreed as the change in order must come from GrubHub. I asked him once again if he could give me the chicken soup instead as that was a dollar cheaper. He agreed to that immediately. Then it was a long awkward wait standing next to the front desk. Both of us were trying to avoid each other's gaze. After 20 mins of standing there the food finally came by 12:46 PM. I thanked the person and walked out without tipping (for the second time in my life). I felt somewhat guilty while driving back as it was probably not the fault of the kitchen staff. At that moment however I was terribly upset, picked up food which was a dollar less than what I paid for and did not get even get an apology for the whole ordeal. The chicken in the soup was significantly overcooked or maybe had stock extracted out of them earlier. Other than, the quantity of food was decent and the flavors consistent. Another effort to find the best tacos in town, we landed at Las Margaritas. So the restaurant was packed, a good sign I was hoping. The food was pretty good, but pricier than others. It was a step up from other Tex-Mex places around town, sure, but it still felt a bit over-priced. I had the al pastor tacos (my favorite type - and the type I am really hoping to find a solid go-to place). They were fine, bland, meh tortilla.
