These are very simple alcoholic drinks. Basically a slushy with alcohol. They are a great summer drink actually they are a great year long drink :-). They are open on Sundays during the summer, so that is a great benefit for people who want to get out and just go have a nice refreshing on a hot Sunday afternoon. My wife went in this afternoon. And we were the only two people in there on a Sunday afternoon. It was quiet. Relaxing. Overall, this is a wonderful place for a fun alcoholic beverage. We find the South location easiest to get in and out of. I would assume that is because of the location of the downtown area and the college crowd that would attend the bar. When in town. This is a must try.

I've never tried the food here and I don't care to - they are renowned in Columbia for their alcoholic slushies! You can only imagine my confused look when I heard about this place. It's a bar and grill that specializes in a variety of perfectly concocted fruity and tarty spiked slushes poured into a styrofoam cup in which you can walk around in public with at a college town?!?! NO WAY! That just sounds so wrong and so right at the same time?! As if the cops around here DON'T know what you're drinking?! pppssshhh!! I'm a lightweight, so I hardly drink, but when I go here, I get the sissy Pina Colada slushy. It's GOOD. Other good ones include the Sweet Tart, Silver Bullet, and Tiger Paw which have more of a kick to them. Sip slow though or you're guaranteed to get a head rush. This Trops on Providence has the same flavors and service as the one in downtown. This one was just closer to where I had lived. Expect a long line on a nice and sunny Friday afternoon or in the Fall on game day!

We were recommended to give this place a try, since it's known for their daquiris. I now understand why. The lady in the front was very nice and allowed us to try multiple flavors before making a decision. Then she also told us what was the most popular combinations as well. I decided to go with the Cherry Bomv which reminds me of the Firecracker popsicle! Very yummy & you are allowed to take your drinks on the go! Yyaaayyy!

Getting my drink.

I believe Flyover could be a strong contender for my favorite restaurant in mid Missouri. Our…read morewaitress was sweet and attentive - dinner moved along, but was paced nicely. My drink had a rose petal in it, but that little touch didn't feel contrived or cheeky - it was just a nice pop of color in a great-tasting drink. The baked Boursin cheese was absolutely amazing - I walked out of there realizing I probably ate half a wheel of cheese, and I totally didn't regret it. Dinner was the highlight - I ordered the boom boom shrimp - served on a bed of sushi rice, there were mangos, thinly sliced jalapeños, purple cabbage, shrimp fried to perfection, and a nicely flavored boom boom sauce on top. My only criticism of this place is that plates come out of the kitchen as they make them, so be prepared to share a dish or wait. We were halfway through my dinner before my friend's fish and chips arrived. I'm happy to share, but I'm not a fan of this dining trend. Overall fantastic dinner experience!!

Reservations were full online. Called and they were able to squeeze us in! Great service…read more Seated immediately. Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Pretzel app. 9/10. Pretzels were warm and the cheese dip was very tasty. Fettuccine was good. 7/10. Solid. Slightly heavy on the salt. Pasta was good. 6/10. Not what I expected. Service was very nice. Pay online is a bonus, so convenient.
