I've lived in several different apartment complexes in DFW and this is by far the best. Still living here, so I haven't dealt with any of the move-out issues others have mentioned, but I feel it's silly to rate a place just based on that aspect. I've been here for 15 months and have no serious complaints. Buildings are quiet and full of young professionals and some retirees, lots of dogs. A city dog park is being added near building 10. The office is extremely responsive to maintenance requests. I feel very safe. It's nice to be close to bars and Addison Circle Park. Yes, this means sometimes it's a little noisy on the street, especially when there's a big festival. Pay attention to events and plan accordingly and it's fine. I personally love it here! read more

I am SO sick of living here. First of all, parking completely sucks. I typically don't get off work until midnight-2am, so of course I don't expect to come home to an empty parking garage. Instead, almost nightly I come home to a COMPLETELY FILLED garage. I don't pay $1000 a month to drive up 5 stories of parking garage only to have to drive all the way back down and park two blocks down the street. Second of all, when I first moved in, I lived in a tiny studio, after 6 months I had had enough and upgraded to my very spacious one bedroom. I paid my $500 to transfer my lease (understandable) but then I received a bill for $289 for "cleaning" on the place I had to just moved out of. Umm, what?! That place was 495 square feet. No way did I trash it that badly in 6 months. I asked what all the charges were for, and the only thing the office could say was "cleaning" Third of all, when I needed a plumber for my clogged shower drain, it took over 3 days for someone to come. Gross? Absolutely. Thank God I have nice friends that live close that offered me their shower for the weekend. Not to mention the plumber scratched my shower to shit so I'll most likely pay for that when I move out, even though I told the leasing office who "made note of it" Fourth, the pools are all small, and generally crowded. Which I understand, this is Texas. It's 160 degrees outside. But don't boast about how you have 4 sparkling pools, when one is almost always under construction and the others are glorified bath tubs. Lastly, yes, my apartment is 750 square feet, and it has a fireplace, but other than that, it is completely outdated. Plain ugly white doors, ugly white walls, ugly plain white cabinets. Ugly ugly ugly. I asked if I could paint a wall "For a one time fee of $130, and it must be painted back to white when you move out" no. I'll stick to my psych hospital walls, but thank you. read more

I have been a resident for 6 years. I used to love this place, thus my long tenure. Unfortunately, I have watch this property go down!!! The type of residents they allow in has brought this once beautiful apt to a trashy ghetto! For example, the noise is outrageous! I have been complaining about a noisy neighborfor for almost a year now. I have followed the offices procedure; calling courtesy patrol. In which no results. I had to even call Addison police!! Of course no resolution from the apt management. The office staff does not follow through with resolutions, somehow it turned around on me, like I'm crazy for complaining. Pet owners do not clean behind their pets! Nasty!! Lights go off almost once a week.Hallways stink of nicatine and sometimes weed!! I have talked to numerous residents and they all have said when there is a problem, nothing gets resolved.So if you have an issue such as these, please remember my warning.....Stay away from Post Addison Circle. read more

DO NOT LIVE HERE. PLEASE x 1000000000000! After multiple confrontations with this place I'm finally posting a review. The management sucks here. They are hateful and inconsiderate. There will be fees associated with everything which aren't justified and exist for no reason. When you ask them why they charge so much for the fee they will refer you to the lease and say they charge the fees because they simply can. So just don't sign the lease, or the devil's agreement, in the first place. The property is not maintained at all. Dog poop everywhere and the pond is not maintained. The trash area is never cleared and stench is all over the place. When you inform them that you would not like to continue the lease, they will start showing your place to prospective tenants WITHOUT YOUR APPROVAL whenever they'd like - because it says so on the lease they say. Also, they increased my rent by $250 if I were to have continued the lease. Ridiculous. No consideration for basic rights and really unethical humans manage this place. Not worth your time and energy to feel hate towards cruel people who just try to rip you off and would care less about your safety and security and assurance. ............................................................ UPDATE: Please don't be fooled by their innocent-seeming response down here. I'm actually afraid/scared of posting a review "before" moving out because they're still holding on to my deposit, and based on experience, I might be charged a hefty so-called "fee" for the tiniest mark on a wall. This is a great apartment community in Addison. Lots of great shops and friendly residents. They also are a part of Cares Team, which means there is a lovely couple living there who plan events for the residents each month! And these are fun events.. not dorky ones. Warning. Stay away from this place. Far away. Their applications standards are set extremely high, there is a very good chance you won't be accepted. For reference: I work in cyber security, and have a secret clearance. My credit score is in the 800s. I was declined an application, and then they refused to refund my deposit, application fee, or administration fee. The reason they declined me? 4 years ago I was charged with an infraction (trespassing). Hardly criminal. I was still able to obtain my secret clearance even though I have this charge. The kicker? THEY RAN A BACKGROUND CHECK WITHOUT MY CONSENT. They used this to decline my application - no surprise there. Apparently they look for any little reason to decline your application in order to make money off of applicant fees and admin fees (and in some cases, the deposit). Applying for this place is a good way to throw away a few hundred $$. So not only did they RUN A BACKGROUND CHECK WITHOUT MY CONSENT. They REFUSED TO REFUND MY DEPOSIT (as an applicant, I hadn't even leased it!). It is sad really, I tried really hard to just get them to accept the application, I was willing to overlook the fact they illegally ran a background check... but they refused to work with me at all as soon as I had pointed it out, and even requested I pull the case records from the local DA! WHAT?! I'm applying for an apartment, not another gig in network security with the DoD (and they even have no problem with my background)... I will update the review as soon as the civil case I'm filing against the management company ends. It is illegal to run a background check without consent. It is illegal to refuse to refund a deposit for an applicant. It is illegal to discriminate against applicants and decline them for NO REASON. The charge isn't even related in any way to real-estate. These guys have very immoral business practices, stay away from them. They'll just decline you and take your money. You have been warned. read more

Update: when they told us everything looked good and no damages were there and we should get entire deposit back, I guess they weren't happy with it, so they adjusted our statement 9 times 3 weeks after we left to make sure they got some money out of our deposit. Horrible business practice and as much as we loved living there I would never go back. We've lived here for 18 months, in 2 different buildings. The rent is a bit high, but it is pretty comparable to other apartment communities in the area. If you don't want to be woken or bothered by noise from bars, or summer concerts (that jazz one tho felt like an earthquake) I would suggest not moving right next to the restaurants to the east of Quorom. We are leaving in a week and I feel bittersweet about it. We moved in when I was pregnant and now my daughter is 1 and a half, and was so thankful for the lively atmosphere, parks, and events, right outside our doorstep. If you don't want to pay a little extra for the location, it probably won't be worth it. Def great for young professionals. I've heard they do nickel and dime during move out and we had a VERY large security deposit taken, due to my husbands previous rental history. We don't have any pets, have had the carpets cleaned complementary after a disturbance problem that was quickly resolved by addison pd, and have had a deep cleaning from Molly Maids once a month, and will be getting it cleaned again after we move... so I will be reporting back in a few weeks to see if we get any of that money back. Also, (why I am removing 1 star), we gave our 60 days notice and during that time, as stated in the lease, they can bring ANYONE, literally, in to see your apt, anytime Monday thru Friday 10-5. Including if you don't hear your phone ring bc you're trying to get your 1 year old to nap, or in the shower, they will come in anyway. Or if the renter has a "service dog", legally -I guess- they get to come on into your home too! So if this is a short term lease for you, and you'll be home at those times, or just value common human respect, privacy, and decency, I'd keep that in mind. Other than that, I think they've been fairly reasonable with any issues I've brought to their attention. OH, and last week, I thought because of an envelope they gave us a month ago that our last rent payment was due in there, as it says to leave any charges on our move out date. Listing the amount for our last prorated month of rent and our move out date, the 18th, twice. No other date. THEN, the semi creepy maintenence man came and banged on my door screaming "maintenence" a few days ago, handed me an eviction notice to vacate in 3 days and pay the prorated rent PLUS a pretty large late fee anyway or go to court and pay more. Before I could even ask him a question, he literally ran away from me down the stairs. I went ahead and paid it, with the late fee, and they told my husband to disregard the letter. Living in Addison Circle has its conveniences, but that is one reason we moved to Post. There are many reasons that we're leaving. I don't even mind the occasional traffic and noise of the special events - that's to be expected if you move here. Things are always breaking inside and outside of the apartment and "fixing" it was really unsatisfactory. We handwash our dishes because the dishwasher never works right despite being "fixed" and replaced - it smells like sewage or doesn't wash the dishes. Sometimes, you'll have to walk to another entrance because the fob at your entrance is messed up for weeks at a time. The power goes out frequently, the fire alarm on occasion. To top it off, they show your apartment for the 2 months before you move out and give you a considerate 30 minute notice before they come each time. I would compare Post apartments to a pile of dirty underwear sprayed with Febreeze. I would rather not wear it again. read more

I lived at Post Addison Circle for 3 years. I loved the community. It's a safe area that offers the feel of a small community yet Dallas is just down the tollway. I never heard my neighbors on either side. The only down fall was the appliances where older but as I was leaving they were upgrading apartments. A month after moving out of a my apartment I got an invoice for $100. I called in regards to it and it was because of sheet rock. I had the tiniest little holes in my apt from the towel rack falling off because maintenance did the WORST job cocking all this gunk around it just so that it would stay on the wall until something touched it and fell off. I called to dispute it and wanted pictures and a detailed invoice to prove it was $100. The invoice was completely blank no description for why I was charged the $100 the customer service was HORRIBLE trying to talk to, the pictures of my apt after moving out were so blurry you couldn't even see the damage. Hello we live in a world where iPhones take crystal clear pictures and they showed me 20 blurry pictures of where you could see no damage to my apt. needless to say they told me my "deposit" that I paid $220 wasn't able to be used towards that because it was nonrefundable?what is the point of the deposit if you can't use it towards maintenance repairs. Oh and when I moved in the carpets were soaking wet and smelled like a wet dog so I couldn't even move my furniture in until it dried and my AC was broke on a lovely scorching hot day in Texas. Hands down, the best apartment community I've ever lived in! I love meeting my neighbors at the free CARES Events and welcoming them into the community. The surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful. There is so much to do in the area and plenty of fun restaurants and shops easily within walking distance. I particularly love the Christmas lights on the trees during this holiday season! The staff is always friendly and eager to help. The apartment itself is very nice and has lovely upgrades. We're happy to live here and call it our home! read more

If you are okay with power going out approximately 2-3 times a month (sometimes even more) then you will love it here.

I do NOT recommend living here. Management is terrible and very rude. They don't enforce any of the community rules. We lived in an apartment around the pool and people would be in the pool at 2:00am or 4:30am as well as bring giant speakers to the pool and blast music all day long to the point where the walls on my apartment were vibrating. Instead of enforcing parking sticker rules, when our parking garage became full from outsiders parking inside the gates their solution was to make current residents park in a garage two blocks away. There was animal urine and feces in the elevators and would sit there for days in 100+ degree heat. There was even vomit in the elevator for a week. The elevators are constantly breaking and out of service for weeks at a time. We paid quite a bit for rent for a one bedroom apartment and the first night we moved in we found out our toilet was leaking all over the floor. There were random wires sticking out of the wall in the closet, as well as chipping paint around the outlets. Some outlets didn't work. We have a cat so wires sticking out of the wall isn't very safe. (And before we moved in they "completely renovated" the apartment) They can also enter your apartment at any time whether you are home or not. They also show your apartment (while you live there) for 60 days after you give notice. During the year we lived there they were constantly in our apartment doing random inspections and updating the building. Our garbage disposal clogged and they came the next day to fix it but before the maintenance man left he decided to scold me and tell me not to put ANYTHING down the garbage disposal anymore. The shower was stained and growing mold when we moved in which got worse as we lived there. The security gate to enter the apartment was broken for months. Our mailbox was always tampered with like someone had tried to break in which was very unsettling. You can find better for cheaper, and with a much better experience. read more

We love our place here at Post Addison! My wife and I moved in at the end of July and could not be happier with our experience! First off, everyone (staff and other residents) is so friendly and helpful. It seems like everyone has dogs and the property makes sure the grounds are so well-maintained and clean. We feel very safe with all of the building's security measures and amenities. All two of our minor maintenance issues were resolved quickly and efficiently the day after we requested them. I really feel like the staff wants people to enjoy living here. Additionally, they have a few events each month put on by a Cares team that are so fun and add to the community experience! Overall, this property is a dream compared to previous apartment experiences! read more

I have had my bike stollen inside of the "secure" fenced in area. I had my back car window based in and my car stolen inside of the parking garage and the office said "yea you should have parked behind the gate". The smoke detector is so sensitive it literally goes off when my toaster pops and the office said there is nothing they can do. Lastly something new that just started, my fire alarm sends out a screech every few seconds sometimes for hours at a time. I lived here for a couple of years and I love the location...most of the time. Anytime a special event is going on, which happens multiple times a year, parking or simply coming or going is a huge pain. The rent is outrageous and everything in my place was outdated (Old yellow cabinets and appliances). They put new windows in once while I was living there and I was forced to allow workers in my home for 8 hours a day for a whole week. When I decided to move I was required to turn in a 60-day notice. Upon turning this in I was told they would begin showing my apartment immediately. I had never heard of an apartment being shown while someone was still living there. I work from home so I went to the asst. property manager Kristin to ask for some help, with people being "shown" my place while I was working. She told me "if we are flexible with you we have to be flexible with everyone, sorry can't help you." Her complete lack of empathy and customer service blew my mind. My experience with this place has been mixed. I'll be very transparent and unbiased with my review. First, the maintenance is great - any time you have an issue they'll come and fix it in a jiffy. I have my theories on why the maintenance is so prompt. Just read on. Now coming to the issue that caused me to write this review : I was woken up at 3am by a loud bang right next to my ear. I was in complete disbelief at what I was looking at next to my ear - the window had fallen off the sill and was lying next to me! Now, those of you who live in Dallas know that today when I'm writing this review ( March 11th '19 ) it's really cold and windy right now. Imagine my horror as I was coming to terms with what had just happened. I retired to my fate and settled down to sleeping in the room with the cold winds gushing through my face! The maintenance promptly came in the afternoon today ( as I mentioned before the maintenance guys are amazing. They probably need to be amazing due the infinite issues with their building else you'll have angry residents stomping out of their property). They told me today that there's another window with a great potential of falling out! They still haven't fixed this second candidate though. So, I went down to their leasing office and had a long chat with them - their only response was they can't predict the future! Like seriously? As a property manager, I would think it's their duty to make sure that everything is in working condition after every resident leaves. And make sure that things are replaced continually or whatever it is they need to do to at least provide a safe environment. I'm not sure what I'm paying my expensive rent for, if it's a danger to live here and I'm not assured of safety in my own apartment, let alone a good nights sleep. It sounds like they're cutting corners at the expense of my safety. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

When I gave them my thirty day notice, I went in person to make sure there were no mistakes, and the person helping me assured me there would be no other charges other than paying two months rent as a penalty. When I checked my account after moving out to see what utilities I still owed, I found an additional $175 penalty fee for breaking the lease. This fee was not mentioned anywhere in my leasing contract. I tried to call them for two days before I finally got someone. She said she couldn't check my account since I no longer lived there and transferred me to the manager, which went to voicemail. I left all my contact info, but never received a call back. Don't be fooled tby the location. This place wasn't great before, but it's even worse under the new management. Update: After calling countless times, I finally went to the office in person. The assistant manager, Raven-C'mone Richard, informed me that I shouldn't worry about the amount due that's stated on the resident portal. She then proceeded to start spouting off numbers that did not add up. Her numbers were thirty dollars too high, but at that point I didn't care and just wanted to be done with it. Then she told me that I owed an additional $598 for replacing the carpets. I already paid the $149 for the express clean. Christy Conley told me that the express clean covered everything except for carpet replacement, but she said that would only happen if they were unable to get a stain out when cleaning it. Since I did not have any stains on the carpet, I asked to see pictures of it. My dog has short, thick, black hair that can form a layer on top of the carpet. The person doing the walk-through inspections, Benedict Bernadas, shined a flashlight on the carpet and determined that it was due to foot traffic. He did not even touch the carpet to confirm that it wasn't hair that could have easily been vacuumed up. Even if it was caused by foot traffic, that is considered "normal wear and tear" and cannot legally be charged to a tenant in the state of Texas. Despite all of this, all Raven did was give me a bunch of peoples email addresses and told me to contact them. Benedict promised to email me the video of the walkthrough, but it's two days later now and I have yet to receive it. I have sent several emails to both the assistant manager and the property manager and have received no response. I have called a dozen times in the last four days and have gotten no response. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. read more

I lived in Post Addison Circle very shortly, only a couple of weeks. It has some good stuff, and the reason I stayed so shortly was not their fault, but there are some things that are just too annoying to let go. The good: 1. Location - very convenient, there are several shops and services within walking distance, nice parks, good maintenance; 2. Quality of the place, even if not fantastic, is better than what I saw in other place 3. Professionally managed and maintained, so things get fixed, work properly, and they also manage to organize some events, which is nice The bad: 1. Once you hand in your notice, they start showing your apartment. It is fine, they actually say that in your contract, but it is very annoying to know that they will be bringing strangers to see your stuff, and they can do that until you leave, or the apartment gets rented, which can be up to two months... I had a very short notice (fortunately!) but still averaged two visits per day during the period (which they do, even if you do not answer your phone to tell them they can!); 2. The professional aspect of the management, also is visible when you move out, but in a negative manner: they have one month to close your account and return your deposit, and they make sure (or at least looks that way) that they take the full month to return your deposit and prorated rent. That is it. Not a bad place, but I would probably not go back there. read more

I lived at Addison Circle for two years and the first year with Post was fine. However, once MAA acquired the property the service went downhill quickly. Dogs would defecate in my hallway 2-3 times a week and management did nothing. I also found errors on nearly every monthly statement and when I would call the office a centralized phone service would tell me to call back later because "they're on a tour". A property of this size should have a staff member available to answer the phone during business hours. I have moved out and I would not recommend living here unless the price justifies dealing with the disorganization and disrepair. read more

It's one of the more expensive places in the area but it's secure, right off belt line and my neighbors are all young professionals or friendly older people. Always clean, always doing something for the residents and always anxious to help when I call maintenance or the front office. You get what you pay for and this place, albeit a little pricey, delivers. Glad to call this place home after living on the other side of the tollroad for 10 years. If I could rate this place a " 0" , I would!!!! Let me begin with the fact that the upkeep of the property is horrible. Hallway carpet is disgusting and NEVER cleaned. Cosmetic damage through all the buildings. Air conditioning works on 1st and 2nd floor hallways, while the 3rd and 4th floor BURN up! If you try to call after hours, and hit the number for an "Emergency", you will never get anyone because the phone just hangs up! WTF?? You pay an obscene amount of rent to live here, but the services you receive are equivalent to public housing! Buildings are old, with CHEAP finishes and upgrades. NOTHING works properly, the gate entrance/exit, the visitor box for entrance or the Laundry access cards ( as stated from a few residents, thank goodness I didn't require this need, but if I did, shouldn't it work? Since I'm paying for its use? )AND when you give notice of move out, BE PREPARED for price scolging! They will definitely "CREATE" a reason not to return your deposit and to fine you for something dumb. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE and do your research!! Spacious, industrial, quiet. Every apartment is unique to fit what you want....luckily we found our home. Shops, restaurants, and services all with in walking distance plus EVERYTHING on the Belt Line. Plus, everyone has a dog!!!! There's a dog park and a dog run. I lack words to express my disappointment. Since Post Properties merged with MAA, the apartment complex I considered as close to perfect as it gets, turned into a nightmare: from rude and indifferent office/maintenance staff to complete disregard/violation of your privacy in the apartment (entering it even when you expressly refused to grant consent to enter) and uninhabitable conditions (water dripping from the ceiling for weeks; mold). Stay away from top floors, you are guaranteed roof leaks, which maintenance will ignore for weeks before making cosmetic/superficial "repairs" ...Fyi, you can count on close to 10% rent increase when your lease is up for renewal. I was excited to move to this location because of the easy access to local businesses as well as DNT. The move in process was simple it's the moving out that is the worst. So they require 60 days notice. Once you give this notice it's 2 months of them bringing people into your home and giving in some cases not even 15 minutes notice. Of course if I would have known this before moving in I probably would have chosen another complex. And yes there is a paragraph in the lease... The staff and management doesn't seem to understand the unsafe practice this is then wonder why there are so many break-ins!!! read more

I lived in Post for 18 months and my experience there got worse and worse every day. I signed an 6 month lease for $1500 and at the end of the lease they tried to raise the rent to 1850 for 12 months or 2000 for 6 months. That is totally ridiculous. The apartments are old so things are always breaking. In my experience they were usually good about fixing them but it's get old calling maintenance every week because the next thing broke. The age wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the fact that they trying to competitively price themselves with new apartments in the area. When they raised my rent I left for a new place of the same size and $50 less than I originally was paying. Also, for that crazy price, I expect their parking to be at least tolerable but they have less spots in their garages then they have tenants. Finally, after I left they sent me a bill saying I owed $1400 for "damages" to my apartment. They tried to claim that it costs them $1200 to replace the carpet in my 1000 sqft apartment because of some spots caused by my dog. Why did I pay your ridiculous $750 pet deposit then? Plus you tell every new tenant that you are going to replace the carpet when they move in so you essentially are trying to charge me for work you are going to do anyways. They also claimed that it costs them $200 to repair the holes made from mounting the TV above the fireplace. $200 to repair for screw holes. This place will act all nice to get you to sign up and may even get you a reduced rent rate for the first lease but after that they will try to take advantage of you read more

I had my car parked in the gated area. Somebody hit/run that costed me 700$ in expense. When i went to property manager, she said you need to file a report. I said you guys were saying about cameras when i was renting my apartment. How about them? Answer was fun, she said we just have it in the gate.... then she explained this is as same as walmart parking lot that post doesn't have any responsibility. By wishing, person who did the damage can call me, I posted a note on the gate saying, whoever did that, please go near my car and call me, next day i had a call from post that it is illegal to do it. i said what part of it illegal. she said it is a private property. I recommend no one, if you want to get robbed, go ahead and rent one from here. Not because of hit / run incident, because of the attitude and responsibility level that management has. read more

I have lived in post for about five years. I have lived in two different buildings and never been late on rent or had any other issues as a tenant. The apartment property is beautiful and quiet (most of the time) and the maintenance crews are respectful and timely. Mostly I've been pleased (enough to stay for 5 years) but there are issues. When they have events in the parks it will be loud and there are drunks roaming the streets at all hours. Your parking garage will be over taken with randoms. They'll tell you that they monitor the parking but they don't, people without stickers park above the gate all the time but more so when they have events. They post workers at the entrances but that doesn't help when your gate won't close. Plus if you don't work somewhere full time, you don't try too hard. The event goers treat it like they own it and park wherever they like. They're loud and disrespectful and they will stop abruptly in the middle of the road like it's a parking lot or something. Also as soon as you tell them you're moving out, you can forget about privacy. They only give you about 15 minutes notice to show your place. Not enough time in my opinion when they are bringing some random person into your home. Most places won't even show places being lived in. I'm not sure if these issues would dissuade me from living here but they are definitely annoying. At least you're informed. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I DO NOT recommend ANYONE to get involved with this HORRID place. While I'm no fan of apartments in general and don't have high expectations, Post Addison Circle has topped the worst of the worst apartment complexes as far as maintenance, safety, environment and customer service. The gates are constantly broken, there is trash everywhere. Probably because the trash service you are required to pay for monthly can't keep up. The dumpsters at the bottom of the garage are ALWAYS full. This is a dirty, dirty property. I know for a fact there have been numerous complaints called in from multiple people in our building about the same group of neighbors for noise complaints, trash, vandalism and unnecessary disturbances - but due to Post Addison's "no eviction policy," (quote management) the entire building suffers at the cost of lazy management. Oh and if for some crazy reason you do decide to sign a lease here (don't do it, save yourself) make sure you live on the top floor for top price because if the people that live above you wake you up every hour of the night, you can be certain that management does not care and won't address the issue. The management's solution is to make you move instead. Convenient right? Safety here is a joke with the continuous broken gates alone. And don't let the "gated parking garage" fool you. We had to purchase cameras to put in our vehicles because of the many break-ins. My husband's radio antenna was even stolen. Finally, if you have to wake up and go to work every morning and require some decent amount of sleep at night, DO NOT LIVE HERE. Car alarms sound off all throughout the night in the parking garage. There are constantly events going on in which we had flood light coming into our bedroom window ALL NIGHT LONG during Oktoberfest. It was so bad we ended up leaving town for the weekend. All in all, I'd rather be paying $900 to live in a lower-end apartment and endure what we are already enduring than pay double that amount and put up with what we are. It's simply the right thing to do to warn people to not sign at Post Addison Circle. I hope this saves somebody from much frustration while simply helping in your decision-making process. I would NEVER live here again....I just moved out of post addison circle, and lived there for 4 years. When I first moved into my unit, I loved it, but my AC kept breaking, which in Texas is HORRIBLE. They claimed it was fixed, nope, not fixed over and over. Also, ALL the drains including the shower, and kitchen and bathroom would not could not stay unclogged. It didn't matter how much draino I put down those things, it kept getting clogged due to old pipes. Also, there is SO much construction in the area including the roof, that I had to replace all 4 tires due to nails. The final icing on the cake is after I leave, they try to charge me an extra $400 (!!!) in rent, utilities, and damages which they wouldn't provide evidence for. I finally got this down to just utilities, which apparently were from February even though I moved out in May, needless to say it was a nightmare, and I was locked out of my account, so it was a lovely case of "he said, she said" read more

Excellent amenities and location. We visit friends here often for the festivals and the events that a couple puts on from the apartment called the Cares team. We went to a couple of happy hours, game nights, and a fundraiser with free cupcakes! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE....me and my boyfriend moved to Dallas about a year ago and we rented an apartment at Post...sadly we are still here waiting the end of the lease for finally leave this nightmare of place. Those buildings are the oldest in addison,you can't set up properly the air condition or heat because they still have the old school a/c plus works only in half of the apartment;the elevator is constantly broken,the worst was few months ago,it was broken for a full week..in the backyard we have a fountain which contain a lot of big fishes,2 months ago the fountain was broken,they tried to fix it with the fishes inside but they all died,so we had these dead fishes for more than a month floating completely decomposed,covered of green mold and the smell from the backyard to the apts was a shame.The garage gate right now is broken since 2 days;the garage has many doors for come in and out of the building but often they are broken and everybody can come inside the building.Then ..the utility bills....are ridiculously expensive!So here you don't pay for what you use,they do a big bill from everybody consumes and they share the bill,our bills are always ridiculously high,beside the rent which is over $1500 for a small 2 bed 2 bath apt.LIVING HERE IS A COMPLETELY RIPOFF.The people at the office are rude and you can tell they are unhappy to work there.The last thing i want to said is that we change apt and building twice because we wanted a bigger place and better but all the building have all the same problems.. The list is long but i will stop here..we are just waiting for the lease to end and finally we can leave this NIGHTMARE.Rent plus utility bills is around $2000 a month and those are the money which you should spend for a good looking house not for this RATS HOLE. read more

Had I not bought a house, I would have lived here forever. The location is amazing for someone in their 20's or 30's- walking distance from bars, restaurants, whole foods, gyms, yoga, salons, etc. It's extremely dog friendly with lots of parks and trails on the property. My favorite thing was the feeling of safety- I left my door unlocked a lot of the time and never felt unsafe. My loft had a view of downtown and easy access to the parking garage which was nice. The prices are a bit high but it was worth every cent. read more

There are definitely some great things I can say about my experience living at Post Addison Circle: I always feel safe. The parking garage's are very convenient. The location is prime for the three big festivals that happen in Addison Circle Park throughout the year. When we first moved in, maintenance requests were resolved almost immediately and I have had some positive experiences with the office staff as well. As of late, however, I cannot say the same. My roommate severely broke her foot about two months ago and much to our inconvenience, so did the elevator in our building. After being told by Post several times, "it will be fixed next week" and then when that deadline arrived, "now we are being told next Thursday" and now to this day...two months later, the elevator is still broken. If you are handicapped please continue your apartment search elsewhere as this complex is not ADA accessible. Then, there's the fire alarms. In the 11 months we have lived here, the fire alarms have gone off at least ten times for no apparent reason. Many of these times, have been in the middle of the night/early in the morning screaching you awake in a panic only to find that there's ,in fact, no fire or reason to be going off. At this point, when the alarms start going off, no one in our building even evacuates because we are so accustomed to them going off for no apparent reason. Heaven forbid an actual fire breakout in our complex. So that's my experience as a one year resident that will not be renewing my lease. read more
