I've lived in this apartments community for a total of five years of my life: 2015-16 and 2021-25. Across those times, I lived in three different-sized apartments in three different buildings. I can thus vouch for MAA Addison Circle from multiple vantage points. First, the neighborhood around Addison Circle is awesome with multiple nice cafés & restaurants, a convenience store, two pubs, and a half-dozen nice, green parks including the large Addison Circle Park. (I was sorry to see the closure od New York Pizza & Pints.) The big park hosts monthly community events, including Oktoberfest and Kaboom! The office management team was always friendly and highly competent, with just a couple of rare exceptions. Probably the strongest component of the overall staff at this community are the people who maintain the grounds and the facilities. Choose your building carefully. This complex consists of ten to twelve buildings. Two or three of the buildings are just a smidgeon on the dicey side. They are all along the community's western boundaries, both south and north of Morris Ave. They seem to have more litter, telltale skunky aromas, & propped-open security gates. Just do your due diligence before selecting your apartment because, overall, this apartment community is great! read more

My experience was not about a parking sticker; it was about transparency, consistency, and whether management can provide clear answers to residents. I requested authorization to park a company vehicle in the gated garage, an amenity marketed as part of the property experience. I was told this was not allowed because of a lease restriction. When I asked to see the written policy or lease language supporting that restriction, management could not provide it. The explanation continued to change throughout the conversation -- first it was a restriction on work vehicles, then it was about issuing additional parking stickers, and finally it was about ensuring enough parking spaces remained available. However, none of these explanations were supported by documentation, and the parking availability concern did not match the actual conditions of the garage, where spaces regularly remain open. The biggest concern was not the answer itself; it was the lack of transparency behind the answer. Residents should not have to challenge policies that management cannot verify or produce in writing. This experience also added to broader concerns about MAA's corporate accountability, including significant legal scrutiny such as the $53 million RealPage antitrust settlement, other resident-related legal challenges, and questions surrounding executive leadership diversity and governance. A company managing people's homes should prioritize communication, accountability, and trust. She's stayed through hallway floods and mold issues because it felt like home. Anybody can live here pretty much, with the this kind of record: If you owe child support, if u have DUI (3) if you paid your rent late all the time on your previous apartment, etc etc the office will welcome you, if you use certain information ( fake ) the office will take it, so it is very concerning '. Elevators are broken constantly and the office takes forever to fix them (last time took over two months). Currently both elevators in my building are broken. Thank god im not disabled. Floor plans are pretty mid compared to price. They sold me a floor plan with a balcony and I moved in to find there is no balcony. All the windows are glued shut. Maintenance is rude. read more

I've considered moving to the MAA Post Apartments in my search in Addison, but I changed my mind because of these three things. I'm giving them an F for security. I've been afraid in the garages. The police said there have been assaults in the area after festivals I've heard of multiple car break-ins. They need to get better security. read more

If you have beer taste and a champagne budget, this is your place! (You read that right!) If you like climbing stairs when paying for an elevator that is nearly always broken, this is your place. Thanks for the extra stair cardio, MAA! If you like dirty hallways with the occasional puddle of vomit, dog poop, dead bugs, and trash that stays and festers for months, this is your place. Don't worry; the cockroaches here are VERY FRIENDLY! If you like paying for parking garage use but have a defective key fob that never works, this is your place. And when you get to leave your car out in the hail because of it, I can't recommend it enough. The hail people even washed my car for free after the $6500 repair! If you like requesting repairs that get cancelled or halfway done with things left unfinished, this is your place. If you like paying for security gates that never lock, this is your place. Sometimes it comes in handy with the tele-entry boxes that never work. If you like walking through the halls and getting a contact high from weed, this is your place. If you like customer care numbers and emails that never answer or respond, you'll really like it here! And if getting ignored by management that you've called and emailed sounds like something fun, you've gotta move here. If all of these sound like things that you'd love to pay for - and don't worry they are great at making sure you pay promptly - YOU'VE GOT TO SEE THIS PLACE! I've lived here over 2 years. There have been nothing but issues from the beginning, but I'll get into that later. First and biggest issue would be that our upstairs neighbor has been allowing a pet to urinate on their balcony which has dropped down and cover my balcony in urine. I've tried working with the front office to resolve this issue but they said they called my neighbor and he said "I don't have any pets, I just ice dunk". Then please explain why there are yellow drips coming from the bottom of his balcony and my balcony smells so strongly of urine. They're now blaming me because I have pets on the lease (I actually am a responsible pet owner who actually takes their pet out to use the restroom). I wouldn't complain if it were my own pet. Second issue I have would be that the fire suppression system, the call boxes, and the security gates around the complex don't work. The call box was down for MONTHS when I was told by management that it would be resolved within a week or two. The fire doors have been closed for days (they're extremely heavy and difficult to open, especially if you're disabled) and no one has done a single thing about it. As for the gates around the complex, people will leave them propped open all the time which then becomes a major security issue. Third, the complex itself isn't ADA friendly. The complex claims that there are elevators but half the time they don't work. The actual apartment entrances to the building have no automatic door opening buttons that work, despite them recently installing them. In my building specifically, there is only 3 out of 9 ADA accessible entrances. Fourth issue would be that they will fine you for the STUPIDEST things but when it comes to big issues they will brush it off as not a problem. I was fined for not having my updated renters insurance uploaded to the portal. When I showed the front office proof that it was uploaded, they responded with "that's not our problem, it's the third parties issue and yours". I reached out to their third party online management company (Yardi) to let them know that the front office was blaming them for not having my updated insurance uploaded. Yardi management was not happy to hear that at all and immediately let the front office know that was a huge issue. Within minutes of calling and speaking with Yardi, management called me and let me know they'd remove the fine. Overall, there are so many issues with the complex and I regret resigning my lease. Since my last post eight months ago things have have only gotten worse. The elevator in my building never works, just before I gave my move out notice they sent a lease renewal and ACTUALLY RAISED THE RENT TO OVER $2000/mo.! SERIOUSLY????? For this dump! Like I said the elevator never works I people put their big trash in the trash shoot room and in the halls. Cannot blame they can't get they big stuff down to the dumpster nor have it hauled away! When I move out in March I will leave old furniture in apartment since I cannot get it hauled away. This is the absolute worst place to live. They don't care. I've lived here at this Property for a couple of years. I give it two stars. One star for Maintenance because those guys are on top of it. And one star because the area is beautiful. That being said, as a resident here, you can expect VERY poor security car vandalism; your vehicle WILL be towed at some point at a cost of $400. And during and after a festival, you can expect crime and ZERO parking. Your Amazon package has a 50% chance of being stolen. It's not uncommon to find a pile of empty Amazon boxes where someone has stolen merchandise and left the empties. And you will get ZERO Sympathy from the management leasing office. This review is solely based on a prospective tenant. I currently live at a Maa property but was looking to move to the Addison area. I can say the apartment complex is located right in the heart of Addison. The location is amazing, it's walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Addison circle park. The complex is rather large so depending on what building you are living in the amenities would differ. I went in a self guided tour which I enjoy. I viewed a studio apartment, the apartment was a decent size however the unit was not clean and the AC was not turned down, so I didn't make for the best impression. However the leasing office was beautiful and the staff was attentive. That what's sold me on renting there. I've been working with Mia and I would recommend working with her as she has been helpful. I would give the apartment a 10/10 for location and price. read more

This place is great! Having the market, mailing shop and food options all walking distance was amazing, It's one of the reasons we choose this spot . Maintenance is quick and responsive and never had a problem contacting them. However,the month we were leaving FOUR wasps entered our unit and I don't do bugs let alone ones that sting, it took them forever to get pest control. Then while packing up our unit, I found maggots and little small black bugs in the ENTIRE kitchen I was disgusted and threw all our food away and had to wash our pots throughly. Other than that this place was great, Always felt safe but there was a bug problem in our unit. If you live here I would make sure to have pest come every other month or quarterly and you should be good. That's what I wish I would have done. read more

After over 9 years living here, this will be my last year at MAA Addison Circle. For most of the time I have lived here I have been very happy. These last 2 years have not been as good. In February 2021, when we had an extreme cold snap, our water was shut off because of pipe breaks. I guess no one bothered to take steps to protect the plumbing from freezing weather. I have no problem with shutting off the water to stop the leaks, but the water was shut off for a week! This was after they had isolated the pipe breaks. Each apartment has its own water cut-off valve. After they identified the pipe breaks, they could have shut off those individual apartments and turned the water back on for the rest of us. They didn't! They let us go a whole week without water. When my lease was up for renewal in May 2021, I should have moved out because of the horrible way we were treated. Instead I have stayed another 2 years. Add to this, they have raised the rent. I now pay almost $300 more than I did when I first moved into this apartment in June 2019. As a long time resident, I have lived in 3 apartments in 3 different buildings. Over the last 3 years or so, quality has gone down. They have never fully fixed the elevators in the building. One went months being out of service. The one nearest to me fails often. Earlier this year, someone started tampering with the locks on the entrance gates to keep them from locking. When I discovered this, I alerted the leasing office about it. I recommended that they install surveillance cameras at the entrances. Doing so would stop this from happening since the saboteur would either see the cameras and not tamper with the locks or they would be caught and hopefully evicted. The locks are still being tampered with while the people in the leasing office yawn and ignore it. Last year, the catalytic converter in my car was stolen TWICE! This happened in a controlled access parking garage with no surveillance cameras and a security patrol that we never see actually patrolling. The first time this happened it was in the middle of the night. The second time the theft happened in the middle of the day. I suspect it was another resident who did this. As far as I know they have never been caught by the Addison police department. The cost of living here has gone up with every lease except one. Only one time have I been able to persuade MAA not to raise my rent. The cost has gone up but the quality has gone down. While the maintenance staff is the best I have ever seen in an apartment community, the staff in the leasing office is rapidly becoming the worst I have ever dealt with. Their latest offense is that they have denied my ESA (emotional support animal) request. I have level 1 autism. Until last fall, I never thought of myself as needing an ESA, but having my dog here has helped me stay more focused and the random periods of depression that I feel have been fewer and less of a problem. It's all because of this great dog I adopted in January. I went through the process. I talked to a mental health professional. I got the letter. I gave it to the leasing office. Their "legal department" denied the request. They claimed at first that it was because they could not reach the person who wrote the letter to verify. She had stupidly not updated her contact information on the letter. I took care of that. They denied it again! They said that the letter is not credible. They are violating the law. The people in the "legal" department must have been sick the day they taught housing law at law school. They are discriminating against me for being autistic instead of having another more obvious disability. They have a horrible communication problem. After I re-submitted my request for an ESA, they went silent for over a month. Then I found that they added another $500 to my account balance. They never said anything about denying the ESA request. They just stuck me with a $500 charge! Add to this the fact that they almost NEVER answer the damn phone so it's very hard to have a conversation about this. If you want to live in this area. I do not recommend MAA Addison Circle. If you read my previous reviews of this property you will see that at one time they were great. They're not anymore. Check out Cortland Addison Circle or Amli Addison. Both seem to be great properties. Cortland has AT&T Fiber. We don't have that at MAA Addison Circle because MAA is too damn lazy to make it happen. I have been asking for it for years! When I move out in May next year, I will have lived here for just over 10 years. I will miss living in Addison if I choose not to move to one of the other properties but I will not miss MAA Addison Circle. The offense of having the ESA denied is the last straw. read more

I considered for months if I should write this review.... I am not an apt. gal, more of a townhome type. I did most of this move online and I regretted some things.... The place: The apartments are gorgeous, so lets start there! I thought I had my delux apt. in the sky... I saw it as good for shoot options because as you can tell from all the pics, the property is a beauty. Then there's the park directly across the street, the reastaurant(s) 5 feet away, the bars so no uber needed, the theatre, and the Dart is 10 feet away. Not to mention, oktoberfest and Taste of Addison happen right across the street (both of which I loved - I always attended events). Location!!! Location!! Location!!! These things alone had me ready to seal the deal...The one star is for the location. The terms: I opted for a multi-level studio (no bedroom, just a loft) that had a pricetag of $1,280. The sq. footage was around 680. It was a 13 month lease. I loved the spiral staircase but when I moved in, I felt too caged in...the loft had no closet, window, or bathroom. The thermostat in the loft did not work the entire time. There was one closet behind the restroom and it was cramped (one thing I need is for my clothes to fit). The first two months were no good. The disappointment: These were luxury digs, right, its what I paid for cause the space....well... In the first month, there was always a smoker in the hallway so smoke came through my vents....EEK!! non-smoker here. There were threatening letters but the smoking was always after the office was closed. SECURITY????!!??? what security?? where??? There is none when multiple cars are getting broke in per night. The elevators had vomit that wasn't cleaned for days at a time. My neighbor fought loudly with her boyfriend every other night (slamming doors, throwing things, yelling indecencies). I got NO sleep, not to mention the barking dog. OH!! the dogs....I saw so many disrespectful dog acts!! The dog poop is everywhere!! No lie, I am in the pool area and a lady let her huge dog rest his genitals in the human pool. Kids swim there!!!! I ran a ton at night and dogs were not on leashes, licking me and I wasn't feeling it. My outlets didnt work, only two in the apt. worked and my toilet leaked the entire time. I was living in the ghetto paying uptown rates...WTF???? The fees: There are trash valet fees (you pay to take your own trash to the chute at the end of the hall), pest control (they always left my place in shambles, cabinets opened, things knocked over - I won't mention the water bugs in my bathroom), and electric (to which I disagreed because my heat/air had a odor when I ran it - i endured not using it much the entire 13 mos. because it never got fixed). Now, I wanted soooo bad to break this lease, so bad I never fully unpacked. Management was not supportive whatsoever and it seemed a problem everytime I went to the office. Calling is not my solution when I pay you insane amounts of rent. They act like I was a bother.... My lease finally ended and I ran soooo fast, over $1300 a month (after fees for a small apt. with waaay too many issues). Recomendation: Do NOT let the bright lights get you like it got me! Its pretty on the outside but you get NONE of what you pay for...DO not move here, no luxury.... Note to management - you are overwhelmed, you can not manage this large piece of a property. So after having lived here for 8 months I feel I'm able to sum up our experience thus far as great. I love the apartment unit I live in. We've called maintenance for a couple minor things here and there and they always show up promptly and get the job done. The front office is always so friendly to our family, the neighborhood is awesome. If you're a young professional, a family, or any age there's really something for everyone. I can confidently say this is a beautiful place with friendly management and quality amenities. Not to mention Addison is somewhere special. Perspective is everything but I would not be deterred by any negative reviews. Just be a nice person and clean up after your pets and you'll have a great experience too. read more

RUN! DO NOT MOVE HERE! The issues have been constant. From our whole building being banned from the parking garage without reason, to the elevator being broken for months at a time; this is not a good place to live. Additionally, our dish washer has been leaky, air vents have still not been changed, water had been leaking out from above our shower, and the a/c does not work in the loft. A worker has also been mugged in an elevator since we've been here and my car was towed at midnight. Terrible front office to deal with and if they don't feel like answering you then they won't. Unresponsive, not helpful, and money hungry. It's a nice area but not worth dealing with the people who run it and all the issues that follow. Also they lied to us about the floor plan and by the time we saw the apartment it was too late and our only options were something for more money or for less space. read more

The Management personnel are prejudice. They accuse you of having marijuana without proof and even after denying it. They still accuse you. They have maintenance that will do a halfway job of fixing problems. The bathtubs get foot prints easily. They are unfair. They evicted me on the day I'm moving out. Like What?! They have their prefixed opinion about you before you move in. They love to harass you. They do not keep the property looking nice. (There is always dog poop or pee or both in the hallway) Ps. There's so many issues with this place I don't even know where to start. I'm sure this review will be followed with a "we're sorry to hear this, we strive for excellence." The only thing they strive for is their office not having to take a phone call. The maintenance group is lazy and halfway does any request put in. I've had multiple that have been "fixed" with a maintenance guy coming to look at the problem then leaving. Nothing else. Anytime I bring this up to the office, if I can even get anyone to answer the phone, is to submit another maintenance request. Same results. The dogs are not properly managed either. There's fecal matter everywhere, owners can just let their dogs go in the hallways and leave it. A lot of the time I will run into off leash dogs in the community, that then run after you because they can. The elevators are always broken or running poorly, never fixed or any communication about it. Gates to get into or out of the garage are often broken, not letting you in or out. No reason to be paying extra for a garage spot, you won't be able to access it! Rent should be a fraction of what is charged, avoid this property at all costs. read more

I moved in just over a year ago and decided to renew because I couldn't fathom moving again so soon. What I'm most disappointed about is how they have no value of their current tenants and want to have a turnover rate so expect to always have a tremendous rent increase when you renew. I can expect a small percent but when it exceeds 18% AFTER you try to negotiate down, you can see this company doesn't care if you pay rent on time or not. It must be profitable for them to run you off so they can collect the massive amounts of non refundable deposits for a mediocre place. Do they have granite countertops, yes, somewhat modern appliances, yes, but the gym is a joke compared to cortland and allegro which are walking distance and their interior maintenance is very low on standards as well. Their pools seem to be maintained but their are always doors propped open, magnetic entrances not working and handles on doors broken going to and from the parking garage. I wish I would have originally moved into a different company's apartment. I'm considering paying the money just to leave here. read more

I thought about giving 2 stars because I love my actual apartment, despite the fact that the make ready was terrible. I am still missing closet shelves, half of my outlets are loose, my ceiling fans were missing pull chains, there is no transition piece where the carpet meets tile, etc. Everything else on this property is a complete Charlie foxtrot, and I despise MAA, so one star. They only clean the tour route, and I'm clearly not on it. There are dried condiments on the walls in the hallway that have been there since I moved in last year. One time, someone rejected a grocery delivery that included 5 gallons of milk which then sat in the hallway for almost a week. I kept thinking maintenance or the porter must come up this way eventually, but no! The milk just sat there. NO ONE on staff walks this property. I finally called the office to have the cartons removed. Thankfully, it was winter at the time, and not 100+ degrees out like it is now. I don't want to even imagine the stink. Revolting. The elevators are CONSTANTLY broken for days or weeks at a time. The parking garage is in the building across the street, and I live on the 4th floor, so when the elevators are both down, just getting to my car adds almost 15 minutes to my commute each way. They don't notify anyone of anything, except to plaster nasty, unprofessional paper notes all over the property. This in the age of the internet, when most of the staff likely doesn't remember a time before email. They don't manage the dog owners at all. I love dogs, but I don't love walking through their pee puddles in the halls, on sidewalks, or in elevators on the rare occasion that they are in service. I had heard how shite MAA is as a management company before I moved in, but again, the actual apartment is killer and I decided to take a shot. I planned to stay a while, but it's so much worse than I had anticipated. All the neighbors I have talked to have not renewed, and a number of others have just disappeared, so I'm guessing that the bulk of them have moved out as well. One poor lady who is also on 4 was told that she could wait a few days to move out until the elevators are fixed so that the price of her move wouldn't TRIPLE, but she would have to pay for the extra time. She was livid and she should be, she's getting hosed out of the better part of a grand either way, in a time of double digit inflation, when the elevator situation is MAA's fault and should only be MAA's problem. Frankly, if it was me, I'd prefer to give the money to the movers, literally ANYONE BUT MAA. Interestingly, they always have a ton of availability, even in this market! I wonder why! Lol. They're probably going to have yet another vacant apartment when my lease runs out. Watch this space. read more

So I've only lived here less than a week now but so far it hasn't been a great first impression. Hate to do this, but it's been one thing after another upon me moving in and I'm trying to stay positive but they don't make that easy. - First of all, I came to tour the apartments back in March and worked with Benedict who is super helpful and recommended a great apartment for me. However, the unit was currently occupied so I couldn't tour it and I was visiting from out of state so I wouldn't be able to see the actual unit until I move in. This was fine because my experience that day was positive and I trusted the unit would be ready and everything would be fine, especially since I wouldn't be able to move into it until 4 days after its original available date anyway. They should have plenty of time to have it ready... - But it definitely didn't seem ready. I don't think it was even cleaned. I was told they cleaned the carpet but there were no carpet lines so I honestly doubt it. Unit didn't even smell clean, just smelled like paint and I'm pretty sure all they did was paint over stuff instead of actually clean everything. My initial move-in inspection ended up being pretty lengthy as a lot of stuff was not in good condition.. windows missing screens, some outlets not working, a whole cracked door off the den that needs replaced, etc. Maintenance came some days later to get started on some of the things I noted but even then they didn't seem to have all the things I noted on the inspection. Maintenance was polite and willing to do what they had knowledge of me needing done but I guess me filling out the inspection was ultimately pointless since I had to enter a work order for certain things they didn't have noted. - Also, the day I moved in I literally came straight to the apartment from the airport. Lugging 2 large suitcases and some carry on bags, Christine gave me my mailbox keys and a fob to get into my building and a map to find my building and sent me on my way. I lugged my two suitcases, etc over to the building just to realize I don't know where the elevators are. I didn't know where anything was. Usually leasing agents at least walk you to your unit and make sure you know where the elevators are, but they didn't. So I called them from outside my building asking if they can tell me where the elevators are and Christine then offered to meet me there and show me. Girl pulled up on a golf cart, then let me put my suitcases on there and ride with her to the door where the elevator is. Like sheesh, you couldn't offer that from the start? Especially after complimenting my luggage several times in the office, you didn't think to help me out with the golf cart from there instead of letting me walk out and head to my building on my own without a clue of where exactly I need to go? Especially when the elevators in my building are located through the door of a diff address from the one my unit says (it's one building with like 3 different addressed entrances - I went to enter the part of the building with my address but the elevator is located in another part). They also forgot to give me the pin code to my actual unit, which wasn't realized until I called them, so even if I did successfully make it into the building and onto the elevators and to my unit I wouldn't have been able to get in. And I wasn't told about downloading the app you can use until I went back to drop off my move-in inspection that day. - Nobody explained to me where anything is. I still don't know if there are any recycling chutes or bins somewhere around here so discarding all my moving boxes was a pain. And I just found my mailbox 5 days after moving in (tried looking for it once and didn't find it, tried again 5 days later and finally found it) and neither of the keys they gave me even work for it. Looks like the keyhole is blocked off with something and I know I have mail in there I needed to get. But when I called them (on a Saturday), they said maintenance doesn't work weekends and can't fix it / look at it until Monday. I'm going out of town for work Monday so that doesn't help me at all. I shouldn't need to worry about 1. Locating my mailbox and 2. Being able to access my mailbox when I move in. They just seem to have dropped the ball with so many basic things people need when they move in, I don't know what the issue is. As of right now, less than a week in I would not recommend this complex to anyone and I just really hope my experience gets better because their assistance with my move-in wasn't it at all. read more

Living here for a year has been the absolute worst. My air conditioner broke twice during the summer months last year, and I had to badger them multiple times to fix it. I rented a loft style unit which has the bedroom area upstairs. This area is absolutely sweltering hot during the summer, even with the air conditioner "functioning" by weakly and loudly sputtering out air. My kitchen is poorly designed, so the oven door only opens if you remove the cabinet knobs blocking it. There is no pantry. I had to buy my own. The appliances are old as heck, and nothing is updated in my unit. Despite this they are raising rent by 10%. They refuse to budge on this number and said I leased the unit "under market." So please be wary of their falsely low prices. Their business model seems to function on roping new people in, not on retaining tenants. To make matters worse, one time I turned the key in my door, and the lock rotated out of function. I had to wait an hour in the heat to be let in to my home. I saw another tenant on my floor going through this as well. My friend also took a video of herself stuck inside one of the elevators. The fire department had to get her out. It's "working" now, but sometimes likes to do exorcist esque open and closing of its doors while being stuck in place. Fun!! Also if you choose to rent here I hope you like strangers violating your privacy for the entire last 60 days of your lease. The office staff will let people into your home without your consent. They give you 24 hours warning, and you have no choice. read more

All these current reviews are truthful.. I don't have much more to say. Great location for something potentially really luxurious like what you would see at west village or uptown, but this is the most poor ran apartments I've lived at and these are suppose to be luxury? Wait to move into this great area until MMA can get it together. I've signed my life away for 14 months in what I thought was a "good vibe" area but it's far from that. Crime and loud drunk people at night.. no security to moderate the behavior, not a safe place to live especially for families.. I'm still trying to figure out why a crime scene unit was in my building in the early morning with every cop and ems in Addison including Carrollton Pd.. I thought this place had cameras so why was a crime scene unit taking photos as he's walking into the building of everything. Makes me feel like someone was murdered with all the personnel they had here that night. read more

suddenly decide to randomly tow people because there is an event in addison. no consistency to who they towed, would tow one car and leave one right next to it with the same parking sticker. they enforce parking rules now that they can charge for parking during taste addison and make a few bucks in parking fees. read more

We have been here for a few months and we really like it! The move in process was smooth, and the apartment is awesome! We are in the building above Mucky Duck on the industrial side in one of the big studios. Maintenance requests are online and super easy. We have only had one issue with the dishwasher and it was fixed within a day! read more

Very disappointing experience with management here. Upon reporting and communicating with them regarding door locking mechanisms being purposely broken by residents at multiple entrances and being propped open, allowing access to anyone off of the street, this is the response I received: Good Morning, Amanda. We have lived here for 3 months and its so wonderful. Quan on the maintenance team was super kind and got our power up and going. Zoe, Sarah, Joel and the front office team have amazing customer service. Beautiful space, awesome neighborhood-pet friendly and Kid friendly. DO NOT SIGN HERE!!!!! -Telecom never worked for my building entire time of living here (10 months) -The office refused to help me lower the termination lease fee while I was let go due to the pandemic -My sinks and shower took about ten minutes to drain completely, my shower floor would get soaked since I was in a handy cap shower -The sliding doors are old and loud and falls off the track every time I try to close a door -Neither my bedroom door or bathroom door would close shut completely in the winter time -my apartment is about 6 degrees warmer than what I have set too in the summer causing my electric bill to be extremely high since my AC is always running -they set up my washer and dryer wrong upon move in so it's caused multiple issues in regards to the hot air leaking & dryer -patio door has a clear gap at the top where all the hot air seeps into the apartment -I was told I would have a garden tub when instead I was given a handy cap apartment...which no one told me about until I moved in and had signed my lease -I never used the pool because the one time I did there was a USED TAMPON floating in the pool -my car was broken into and they stole EVERYTHING out of it - fire alarm went off twice in one month, once at 2AM for 2 hours and once at 5:30PM. They only broke down my door once! turns out it was an electrical fire in the attic. - My downstairs neighbor kept having leaks coming from her ceiling (my apartment) and maintenance constantly had to come by and stay in my apartment for 30 min/hour at a time (has happened four times in 3 weeks, once while I was not home.) This started 3 weeks before I was supposed to move out. The maintenance guys were also not wearing protective gear during COVID-19. They were also walking around without shoe protectors on my carpet. They were touching all of my faucets and door handles without gloves on. During a pandemic?! And if I don't open the door fast enough they force themselves in with keys! read more

They have claimed to fixed a leak. FOUR TIMES they have been here and I still get the SAME LEAK when it rains! They call pretending to care but what kind of apartment company can't offer the VERY, VERY BASIC comfort of a CEILING THAT KEEPS THE WATER OUT!?! Don't move here. They don't care about you once your name is on the lease. Right now their maintenance line has made it very clear this is not a priority for them AND their maintenance portal to submit regular requests isn't working. I currently live here and cannot wait to move. Maintenance has been the only bright spot. The front office is another story. It's like they fight you on everything no customer service skills. For the 2k a month I pay you would think the service would be so much better. Elevators are a constant issue and when they go down they stay down for sometimes weeks at a time. I actually got stuck in an elevator had to call 911. When I called the front office they pretty much acted like " oh well". Another thing to look out for is how they allow the tow trucks to come in and randomly tow cars. They don't tow all just enough maybe to make a few bucks. Again if you call the front office same kinda oh well attitude. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and receive the customer care and service you deserve. read more

This place used to be amazing. The location is still awesome but since MAA has taken over, it's been a mess. I've lived here 4 years. And now, you can never get a hold of an actual person if you call or email. And I mean never. I have gone to extreme lengths to try to contact anyone there and have zero luck. They also send out these very rude towing emails every other week. Basically, these emails say you can't park in the free spots if you are a resident. And they can no longer allow guests to park in these spots either. So it's a great place to live if you never leave your apartment and have zero friends or family who visit. I get so mad and sad thinking about how this place has changed. They have a parking garage full of new appliances they won't put in the old apartments, or at least when I asked if I could have one of the fridges, no one followed up. They have made it much harder to recycle than previous management. They leave common-area things broken (key fob scanners, doors,etc) for months on end and then blame residents for not letting them know. You would think the people paid to work there would have an idea of what's broken at the property within the months they sit broken. The parking gate smashed my brand new car, and when I called to tell the leasing office, of course no one answered. I see roaches and trash in the hallways. And I live in one of the most maintained buildings in Post. Basically, I wouldn't live here until they get their act together... Or by some miracle, if they bring back th old management. Those people were awesome and made this a great place to live. read more
