Additionally she seemed to be unaware of the functions of several key neurotransmitters affecting depression. I left wondering how she got the job. Most problematic for me is the core principle of this place. As I (don't) understand it: we are responsible for our physical pain. We have pain because we think we have pain; It's imaginary, we've chosen it. I asked about a close friend dying of cancer: he only imagines he is in pain? Answer: he probably did have some real pain but not as much as he thought. That's when I gave up.

I have provided my insurance information 4 times and the one visit still has not been processed through my insurance. Not to mention the hold times on the phone for billing is sometimes over an hour. Date of service 9/20 almost two months ago. This better not hit my credit. I did find a place that was more flexible to a person with a job.

But corporate policies are a reason I've considered leaving. I recently waited 2 hours to be seen for an appointment. What really got me irritated was I got permission from the office manager to run to my car to get a phone number for my treatment case manager. When I walked back in, I was greeted at the door by one of the MEdical assistants rudely stating "since you left you need to leave another urine sample or you can't see the doctor". I had JUST left one 5 mins prior and was gone for maybe 30-45 seconds. THEN I asked, after two hours of waiting to see the provider, when I would be seen and was given a snoopy comment by another medical assistant and had the door closed on my face. The doctor is nice but if there were other Medication Assisted therapy providers in the area I would take my business elsewhere.

Not only are all the staff extremely friendly and very fair with everything that they do but they are also all willing to go and above and beyond what they can at least to try to make sure that you're staying experience is a good one. The beds are the by far the most comfortable that I have ever been in in any detox facility but they also have TVs in each of the rooms your family can bring you snacks and treats as long as they're sealed so no home cooking or anything like that but if it's something they can buy from the store and packaged and is not opened you are welcome to have people bring it to you to make your stay easier. Also even though I'm not a vapor I thought it was pretty cool the fact that they do allow people to bring Vapes they have to be concealed and still in the boxes which seems perfectly reasonable to me. I highly recommend this detox facility to anybody who is in need of finding help in my thoughts and prayers is with everybody out there who is suffering.
