TLDR; they provided the wrong office address, then cancelled on me since I was "9 minutes late". After completing their forms online, they gave me a call. However, I had to call back 3 times over the course of a week to get someone to answer and set an appointment. My insurance should have covered everything, but they charge an out of pocket $150 admin fee. After finally setting an appointment, I show up at the office 10 minutes early to the address on their email footer, 1524 Independence Parkway, Suite A-1, as shown in the photo. Nobody is there. Finally, I call in after 15 minutes, and Shauna directs me to a new office location right across the parking lot. However, she says that it's too late in the day and that they'll have to reschedule my appointment. Very upsetting considering that it's impossible to get an appointment set at a reasonable time. I finally got someone to call back two weeks later and told me she didn't get any of my voicemails. What is the point in a new patient line if there isn't anyone to take calls? I've been seeing Dr. Chuang for several years now and I've been very happy with the care and service I've received from the ADHD treatment center. I would recommend Dr. Chuang and his staff and the treatment center to anyone who needs testing for ADHD or ADD, they did extensive testing on me And have followed up after every visit, especially if my medication needs changing, they will check up on me to make sure that it is working the way it needs to work. If I ever need anything I can give them a call and they will return my call or I can text them and I can get a response. Worst experience I have ever had with a provider. They charged my card (which they kept on file without my permission) several times without ever telling me or explaining any charges. I left voicemail after voicemail only to NEVER get a call back. When I finally demanded to speak to someone i was told "well we called you back"- which they did not. I specifically asked the doctor for non-stimulant medication, and when THE PROVIDER wrote the INCORRECT medication, I called to ask to have it changed, for the provider to tell me to come back in- so they can charge me more. I asked to speak with the Office manager several times to be denied. Absolute AWFUL experience- and they could not care less. Based on the reviews, we decided to have my son tested here for ADHD. Plano is an hour away from us without traffic (so usually an hour and a half drive because traffic is ALWAYS bad). At the beginning, everything was great. Once he was started on medication and it stopped working, Dr. Chuang would just up the dosage. He finally maxed him out on the first medication and then switched to another medication. He has upped his dose on the 2nd drug also. We are now on a new box of the same medication and same dosage and now my son has a rash and developed an allergy to the medication. Due to the nature of the drug (narcotic) I did not want to stop him cold turkey over the weekend without the doctor's consent. My husband left a message with the answering service and we never heard back. We have paid this office way too much to not be responded to when we are having a problem. They never answer the phone when you call during normal business hours either. We are taking his test results and his PCP is now going to manage his medication. When you're dealing with something as sensitive as this and you have your 6 year old on narcotic medication, you would assume you would be able to get answers....you don't get that here. I was looking forward to going to this clinic, with the mass amount of positive reviews. The experience was "okay". The facility is very dated and old. Missy was great and seamless in her customer service. I chose not to proceed with service, because I had a strange feeling about the cost associated with each visit. I did confirm they were in network with my insurance, as I was anticipating a normal co-pay. When I received my EOB, it stated that I should have only been charged my $30 co-pay. When I called the insurance, they stated that because the provider has signed an agreement, the patient can not be billed for any difference. I called the office and spoke with a Fedaa. She explained to me that they charged me codes that they did not bill to the insurance because they knew it would get denied. The insurance explained to me that every code has an allowed amount, and the patient can not be charged the difference based on the agreement between the provider and the insurance company. Fedaa was not pleasant, and obviously getting unsettled by my concerns. I've decided to allow my insurance to progress in the potential fraudulent investigation. I would recommend this place because it wasn't horrible, but check your codes being billed. Check your EOB's and ensure your aren't being billed for something insurance never received. The insurance rep informed me that was outside of their agreement and is considered fraud. read more

Dr. C is awesome! He is not pushy with a treatment plan and really gives you all your options. He is supportive of a conservative or an aggressive treatment plan, which ever the parent favors. I brought my 5 year old in when she started having trouble in school, and we had exhausted all of our options. He was very kind and caring and really took the time to listen and educate our family about ADHD. We have since placed my daughter on a medication and it has worked wonders for her! She is excelling at school and even my daughter will make comments to me about how she feels so much better when she takes her medicine. I caution all about bad reviews about medication, etc. If you stop and think about it I believe people are likely to write a bad review vs a good one. Dr. C provided us the education and tools which allowed us to be fully informed and empowered us as parents to make a decision about our child's care. Dr. Cheung and staff took all nervousness from our daughter when she became a patient at the ADD ADHD Treatment Center. She struggled with her high school classes and always felt defeated and nervous. She also suffered from severe anxiety.
