We don't shop here for groceries, only order carry outs for lunch. It's a great place to get ethiopian injera. Inexpensive price, big portions, and good food. We started to order carry out from them during the Pandemic. It became our favorite cafeteria. We usually order a vegetable combo and a spicy beef combo. The vegetable combo came with beets, beans, spinach, carrots and cabbages. It never disappoints. The beef dish usually tasted good, but sometimes it's a bit chewy. I'm not quite sure if that's the way Ethiopian food is supposed to be or not. Nevertheless it is a much better meal than fast food for the same price.

I discovered this place by accident while i was at the shipping center.. The store is pretty nice full of ethiupian food and products, injera bread was fresh and abundant. The store is very clean and well organized by aisle for food dessert household stuff etc. There were lines for the 6feet cdc recommendations distance which i really liked.. The check out person was extremly nice and friendly, he asked me if i found everything ok.. Absolutely good ethiupian store/mart..

I also bought some beautiful fresh injera and wish I had more time to peruse all the items in the store.

It's been 72 hours since we made that 45 min trek to try SOKO. 3 whole days and we're already…read moreheading back for more. 45 mins there. 45 minutes back. Almost 2 of driving and waiting and it's 10000% worth it. We saw the Philly on our favorite YouTubers channel and he rated it a 9.5/10. My boyfriend's family is from Philly so we had to try it out. When we arrived, it was a long line but it shortened pretty quickly. The guy at the front was super nice and was a boss at handling all the orders. We ordered a Philly with no Mayo, added peppers with a side of fries. The wait was about 25 mins and the food was piping hot. We immediately dug into the fries (after saying a quicker prayer of course) and was pleasantly surprised. They tasted like a better Micky D's fry! We instantly regretted not ordering 2. Since the ride home was long, we pulled over for a taste test. It was AMAZING! It was creamy. It was flavorful. It was meaty. It was nostalgic. My boyfriend doesn't normally eat dairy but he definitely took 3-4 big bites lol I rate it a 9.5 out of ten. I wish they used green bell peppers instead of red and the next time I'll add jalapeños or banana peppers for a 10/10 experience. This has definitely become a staple in our food rotation.

The Philly was outstanding. The French bread was so good and packed with super tender and flavorful…read moreshaved steak. This is definitely the way to go! The Italian "Yakoma" was good. The meats were flavorful and of high quality. I liked the pickled onions on top, great unique touch from the deli. I don't think it needs the mayo on it, I'd prefer oil and vinegar next time. The butcher case with all the meats is worth checking out...they have some solid prime cuts in there.
