2025 Adar did a room addition for us, along with installing a mini split ac unit and a 4 foot retaining wall. This year we had concrete poured and the foam was removed that covered the copper lines. We found that they were kinked. This mini split was not touch since they installed it so we contacted them. I was surprised they gave us a hard time, because we specifically kept reminding them during each phase of the room addition that if something was not right they would need to come back. Finally they came out and fixed the cooper lines. We also noticed that water was showing through the brick retaining wall, several areas were damp and turning white. The company that did the cement work also confirmed the problem. The waterproofing was not done correctly. They should have put on a liquid barrier and a material because it was a planter with soil. Several calls were placed, they said they would get back to us but never did. I thought since they worked with the Property Brothers on their show that they would be a company you could count on and provide quality service. I was wrong. They do not back up there work. Adar was apart of a handful of companies we reached out to for our bathroom remodel. Vlad came to our home to talk about capabilities and we immediately connected with him on a personal level versus some of the other people that had come over a span of a couple of weeks. I was very hesitant to post this as I really liked Sean and Gavri, but after some real time experience with the new motor they sold me, I realize it was an upsell that I didn't need but didn't know at the time - a gate with a back up battery. What they didn't tell me was that I'd need to replace the battery every couple years, a great way for additional $ but what a pain in the ass and unnecessary expense for me. This was not explained or else I would have never gotten it. Add to that, now that Sean has moved on to bigger and better things, it leaves only Gavri on the gate side, and he is often so overwhelmed and unavailable for days. We have worked with many different contractors and Sean & his team are by far one of the best. We had a complicated custom automatic gate need. Sean with ADAR recently installed a solar powered motor to our existing sliding driveway gate. From the first quote by phone, to following-up after the installation, Sean was consistently great with communication, response time, transparency in pricing and professional work. We received 5 different quotes for the work. All were in range of each other within $2k, which is significant. From pictures I sent Sean of our gate he was able to quote a very competitive price, with more options that we had been offered from any other company. In person, seeing the gate and it's (relatively good) condition, Sean recommended a smaller, less expensive motor option, which we appreciated; but we ultimately went with his first recommendation. He was very clear about all the parts and the installation process. Day of installation went very well, and Sean involved us in the details that were important to us; like the placement of the solar panel.
