On the 18th of March he texted the FDNY Paramedic that he would have all the paperwork ready to file for the town permits by the next day. On April 20th she reached out to Mike Rosado in all understanding that work start dates were ambiguous, but paperwork with the town did have a 2 to 3 week timeframe. He told her that his plumber was sick, and he could not get his licensing information. She called him two weeks later to ask if his plumber was feeling better and if he would be able to do the paperwork. He told her he was confused about how to fill out the paperwork, so she agreed to do that for him. He told her he did not have a plumber, she gave him the plumber's information for her building and then he ignored her for the month of May. On June 8th, the office assistant sent her licensing and insurance information for EcoGreen, she said Mike was still working on the building plans and that Mike expected her, the Paramedic working 12 to 16 hour shift with the New York City Fire Department, to find a plumber to do the job, this was the FIRST she had heard that she was expected to act as her own general contractor in order to get EcoGreen to fulfill their contract. She called Mike, and he told her he couldn't find a plumber, that he didn't like the attitude of the building plumber and if she wanted the project done, which he knew she desperately needed done, then she had to find a plumber herself. Because apparently a company that bills itself on its website as "full-service home and business environmental restoration company serving Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland and Orange counties NY, as well as Fairfield County, CT" doesn't have access to a plumber and needs a first responder, who spends most of her time saving our lives to spend her free time, doing their job for them. Alas, she is a hard working girl that just wants a working shower, so in between her long her full time job of 12 -16 hour shifts working as a paramedic, and she finally met with a plumber who gave her an estimate of $1750 on June 16th, she called Mike on June 17th and he told her that was too expensive and she needed to keep looking. Basically forcing her to do the work of a general contractor looking for and bidding on a subcontractor for his project and doing the paperwork that still as of June 20th when EcoGreen was officially fired, they never provided the plans for a very small studio bathroom repair and basic remodel. Mike Rosado and Frank Petrullo cheated a New York City Fire Department Paramedic during a Pandemic. Send me a message, email or reach out, I will share screen shots, emails, and voicemails to verify the timeline and details of this story, because facts do matter. We are New York tough and we don't screw the people who put their lives at risk to save ours. The thing is I would rather not have to write these reviews and call them out, I would rather that EcoGreen would have done the right thing because they were given so many chances just to deliver on their promise. Does such a company that cheats the best that New York has to offer and even when they have multiple chances to fix it, and refuses to do so, deserve our hard earned money? I hope you will look elsewhere for your contracting needs, give EcoGreen a hard pass like they did a real hero.

Everything was about, "you've got to sign by tomorrow or you'll lose this great price". It wasn't a great price. According to him It was supposed to cost $6800 but if I had less than a certain income then it miraculously dropped to $3500 to do various insulations around the house, about half a day's work. The way the proposal was written it sounded very involved, but it was essentially insulating the attic and caulking around the house. That's a ton of money for that work. He then called me constantly, pushing for me to sign. When I finally told him I don't react well to these kind of deadlines he said "have a nice day" and hung up. This company is preying on people who don't know pricing and fall for their sales pitch.

This crew was very hard working and professional. Most of our work was in the attic and these guys did a great job. We should see a reduction in our monthly bill over the next months and years. I would recommend Green Audit to anyone, any time if you need fixing for your insulation. We are happy customers!

His friendly demeanor set me and my husband at ease right from the moment we met. He introduced himself, told us that he would be about an hour and upon completion, would go around and explain any concerns. Well, Mr. Marino, who is owner/operator was definitely focused and took more than an houqqr in the inspection part alone but we never felt rushed or as if he was being inconvenienced. He then escorted us from top to bottom explaining any concerns, told us his recommendations to curtail future issues with certain items and/or possible solutions to solve issues with actual concerns. We had our report within 10 minutes of the actual conclusion of the inspection and went over what we needed to keep, what the lawyers needed to see and what the mortgage company needed to see. The care and concern that Sherlock Home Inspections showed made me feel like a family member was doing the inspection and I felt he was genuinely concerned about me and the home I was looking to purchase. Definitely contact Sherlock Home Inspections for your home service needs!

Being a single woman I know nothing about the mechanics of a house. Marc took alot of time going through each and every nook & cranny. He then took me outside & spoke to me before going thru the house again, this time with me in tow. He explained things that were going to need replacement at some point, took the time to explain to me how things like the boiler & hot water tank work (yes, I'm that clueless!) & noticed defects in areas I never would have thought to look (like between window panes!). Marc was personable, thorough & professional. I will highly recommend his services to any one who asks! Thank you Marc

We bought our home last December and quickly realized we were in need of insulation. When you buy…read morea new home it takes a while to get to know its quirks, what it needs and set a timeline for improvements. We put insulation at the top of the list. Our oil delivery costs for astronomical. The house didn't retain its temperature so one minute it was warm and the next very cold. The furnace was constantly coming on and off. A huge expense for our family. Once we had the insulation installed along with air sealing around our entire home we were hoping the next winter would go better. So now that it's winter we can say that our furnace does not constantly click on. Our home retains the heat. We set our thermostat at around 66 degrees knowing it will get up to 68 and sometimes 70 if we are cooking. Our oil deliveries have been way less gallons per deliver, we are using less fuel to maintain the heat in our home. Installers were professional. Clive and his team were very considerate of our home, keeping it clean with drop cloths and removing all the old insulation carefully to keep the house from collecting drops of it. It is amazing how they build up walls in the attic with a small space to walk. The air sealing in the basement has been nice because the heat in the finished portion doesn't kick on as much because its not being sucked out of the house. The job was done in one day. It was our first Summer in the house and we had the work done right before that, so I cannot tell you what a previous Summer would have been like but I can only imagine how hard the A/C must have had to work to keep the house cool. And, the cost must have been really high. Our A/C is in the attic so they insulated the duct work to each room as well. Keeping the air traveling in the duct work cool as it traveled from the a/c to the room. Meaning again, it doesn't have to work so hard to keep the house cool. Genius! I will post this on CT Basement Systems too because I think there are more reviews there for the insulation.
