To Dr Friedman, you and your office are thieves and your staff is unprofessional !!! I made an appointment at Dr Friedman's office, gave my information over the phone and the admin failed to inform me that my insurance was out of network. I showed up to my appointment and they told me at my appointment time that I was out of network. I want to see a doctor who is in-network so I told them that and left. I never signed anything nor filled out any paperwork. I get a bill in the mail for a no show appointment of $250! I call them to figure what this was for and they said it was a no show fee even though I showed to the appointment on time. Wow! What scammers! We will be contacting our lawyer and making a complaint to the board for fraud! read more

It doesn't surprise me that this doctor has bad reviews. They are total scammers. They didn't tell my mom that she was out-of-network until the day of her appointment. So she SHOWS up to the appointment and the admin then tells her she is out-of-network. She obviously wants to utilize the insurance she pays for every month, so she politely tells them she is going to find another provider that is in-network with her insurance and leaves their office. She then later receives a bill from their office for a NO SHOW ($200 and she never even saw the doctor, she never even got past the reception and was in the office for less than 5 minutes) even though she showed up to the appointment. Dr. Friedman changed my life, no exaggeration. I suffered from an extreme case of sleep apnea, excessive snoring, trouble breathing, multiple throat infections including 7-8 cases of tonsillitis per year. After examining me, Dr. Friedman said I was a great candidate for a tonsillectomy. He seemed super confident and very professional. After my tonsillectomy, I have not had any throat infections, at all what so ever, i literally do not snore AT ALL (I even recorded myself sleeping because I really didn't believe it, because I've been snoring for the past 6-7 years), no problems sleeping at all! I don't usually post on Yelp that many reviews but Dr. Friedman absolutely deserve one. First I want to start by saying that I am usually super busy and having flexible appointments and being on time is one true treat that I will forever be appreciative off. The team was always on time and my appointments never ran late. As for the surgery, this was my very first surgery ever and I was nervous and worried about what's going to happen. The surgery took 45 minutes and was out after 30 minutes of recovery. I was bleeding but it stopped around 7pm that day(surgery was 1:30pm) I was able to walk the dog the next day and resume all my life activities as nothing happened.. few days later I start to breath from my nose. I used to have shortness of breath and not enough Oxygen coming to my lounges as I used to breath from my mouth. But after the surgery I started to breath from my nose at 100% capcity and started to have better night of sleep. I am convenienced that Dr. Friedman have magic hands and I thank him for the amazing surgery and quick recovery. Thank you Dr.! read more

I don't know where to begin, first Dr. Friedman has been wonderful since my first appointment. He is extremely thorough and found that through years of nasty infections my sinus cavities were almost nonexistent. The surgery center was very clean and the nursing staff extremely friendly and helpful. The surgery went very quick and my recovery was very fast and pain free. Needed an ear cleaning done because I had some ear wax in one of my ears. This doctor literally met with me for 3 minutes to look inside my ear and tell me I had "just a little bit" inside and that he did not want to touch it. Instead, he advised I put baby oil inside which absolutely did nothing. My husband went and bought me an ear wax kit and helped me clean my ear out instead. My husband has had Two nasal surgeries with Dr. Friedman and Both went very well. I am so glad we found him! Before we did he had a surgery that was very barbaric and painful with a local surgeon. First let me mention that I was a first-time patient. I called for an appointment and was kindly helped by Maria. She did not rush me through the process. She explained it well. And told me to fill out the online. I tried to fill out the online, I didn't do very successfully. I called back and again and I spoke with Maria again, she was genuinely very patient and very thorough;I got it all filled out. I definitely thought five star for the office staff. Even Ariel who called me to remind me of the appointment was most gracious. When I arrived, I was taken in on time. And that's when I met Doc Adam. I was totally bowled over by his kind yet professional treatment. He sat there the entire time typing away while listening intently. Stopping at times to meet my eyes and to clarify what I had meant. He then resumed and kept right on typing. When I got done outlining the two major areas of concern, he repeated back the details on both issues. And questioned did he leave anything out. It has not been my experience that doctors are humble and listen so intensively. It also has been my experience that they try to rush you in and rush you out. That was the furthest thing from the truth here. He then outlined a treatment program and explained each of the meds and why I needed them. He also explained further tests and what they would accomplish and why I needed them. He set up the next appointment for a month out. He set up the next tier of treatment informing me keeping me in the next tier of the treatment loop. Actually, I can say, that he restored my confidence in doctors and especially in specialists. I had gone to another one in another city. They made me wait 2 1/2 months to get in. And by that time the problem had subsided. And then they rushed me through, and made me feel foolish for even bothering to waste an appointment. How far removed was Doc Adam. And I'm definitely improving from his treatment protocol. !Five stars for this doctor! read more

Dr. Friedman and the SCENT staff were truly wonderful! I was seen exactly at my appointment time and not a minute later. I had my tonsils and turbinates removed as well as my deviated septum fixed. I am very happy I was referred to Dr. Friedman! He was very thorough and answered all my questions. I had 0 discomfort when I woke up after the procedure and 0 discomfort when I was sent home! My friends who have had their tonsils removed were shocked at how fast I was recovering and I don't think that would of been possible if I had gone to another ENT specialist. My husband is an active duty soilder who has had to drive all the way from fort Irwin to this office for his VA appointment. For my husband to be reimbursed he needed a simple Dr's note. If he knew that at the time he would have asked for one while he was there. We have been calling for 4 days straight just to have a simple note emailed or faxed to us yet they do not care. They continue to ask us to come when we have expressed that the drive is over 2 hours and simply to long to pick up a piece of paper. They tell us the dr will be Im The office tomorrow and when we call he is not there. They say they will contact us back at the end of the day and with no surprise they don't. I mean how could they when they didn't even ask for our numbers before getting off the line. It's just truly sad that we don't have anyone trying to help us with something so little. read more

I had balloon sinuplasty on March 9, 2020. I see Dr. Friedman in Lancaster usually and have gone to Valencia twice over the past few years. About 4 years ago I had sinus surgery. I continued to have mild congestion over the years and went back about 2 months ago to just see if there was anything he could do. He told me about the balloon sinuplasty procedure and I wanted to go for it. You cannot imagine how good I feel. I was kind of psyched out about doing the drugs before I went, but turned out well. He had to make my sinus passages a bit bigger and I could hear the crunch of cartilage as he was doing the procedure. It was all worth it!!! I can breath better; in fact I didn't realize I wasn't breathing as good as I could have. I wake up refreshed in the morning also. Another benefit is I am not snoring any more. I also like Dr. Friedman's personality. He is so down to earth, personable, and has a great sense of humor. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Friedman if you are having sinus issues at all. I take my rambunctious 3yr old son to Dr. Friedman and he is great with him. My little guy suffered from monthly ear infections and Dr. Friedman suggested tubes. It was the best decision we made. He has not had an ear infection in 10 months. We are so fortunate to have him as our doctor. His staff is efficient and kind. The audiologist is Amazing. She really knows how to work with kids. Dr Friedman has been my doctor for over 5 years but misdiagnosed nasal cavity shingles. As a result I lost being on the shingles anti viral those first 72 hours. I'm now suffering the Postherpetic Nerve pain 5 weeks later in my head as a result. I had two cold sores on my mouth with that initial visit and even asked if this pain in my nasal cavity could be another cold sore. He said no. A misdiagnosis as such has caused me a great deal of pain. I just don't want this to happen to anyone else. This saddens me because I like the doctor. read more

I had no idea I had a deviated septum when I went to the ENT for trouble breathing. Dr Friedman noticed right away (of course) and suggested we fix it and clear out the sinus infection I'd had for months. I'm pretty sensitive to work done around my face since I had a traumatic childhood experience, but Dr Friedman was cautious and careful and explained everything he was going to do. I really am glad I had the work done and feel so much better now. I still have a few more weeks before I heal completely, but it's only going to get easier to breathe. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and my thyroid needed to be removed but I found there were differing views on the extent of surgery needed. I saw Dr. Friedman as a second opinion surgical consultation and was extremely satisfied with his ability to explain the surgery and what to expect following it. The first surgeon I visited rushed my visit and did not answer all my questions. In sharp contrast, Dr. Friedman gave me the attention and focus I needed to make me feel confident with the surgery. Before the surgery, Dr. Friedman had an MRI completed to better assess and prepare for the surgery (original surgeon didn't do this). I definitely felt taken care of. I am 6 weeks post surgery now and and thrilled with the results. I have a small scar on the front of my neck, much smaller than I expected. I highly recommend Dr. Friedman. read more

Dr. Friedman is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He took the time to explain everything and to answer all of my questions, no matter how many I had. He diagnosed me as having a deviated septum and a massive sinus infection. I was really happy when he didn't push the idea of surgery but said that antibiotics would fix the sinus infection and that I might want to just live with occasional infections in the future... He said he would leave it up to me to have surgery or not. I really appreciated that even though he would obviously make more money from performing surgery, he let me decide how I wanted to proceed. A month after the antibiotics, I was back in his office, asking for the surgery. It's been two weeks since my sinus rotor rooter, and I already feel WAY better than I did before the surgery. After 2+ years of not being able to take a deep breath out of my nose, I can finally breathe again.
