While I understand being short-staffed can be stressful, I was placed on hold multiple times during the call while Jill repeatedly emphasized that she was working alone and assisting patients in the lobby. Although I tried to remain understanding and patient, the interaction became increasingly unprofessional. When I attempted to explain the reason for my visit regarding pre-operative care, I was told that I needed to drop off my pre-op orders before even being able to schedule an appointment. While I was willing to comply, the process seemed unusual and was not clearly explained. What concerned me most was Jill's demeanor when I politely asked for her name and role at the office for my own reference. She appeared offended and questioned why she was "being interviewed." Her response and overall attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a prospective patient. Customer service and professionalism are extremely important in healthcare settings, especially for new patients seeking care. Unfortunately, this interaction left such a negative impression that I no longer feel comfortable establishing care at this facility.

I requested a skin allergy test and they test you with a 105 different needles which does not hurt. That doctor found that my left L5-S1 disc extrusion contacting the left S1 nerve root. Finally I can find some relief for my severe pain I've been experiencing. I was released from the hospital the next day and was only given half of the prescriptions I needed. I was told to call his office and when I did, was told he had left on vacation and to contact the Hospital I had been in. When you're really sick and dependant on someone else to help you... it's scary. Dr. Terrazzino made me feel at ease in the hospital, but afterward, not being able to get the prescriptions needed made me feel scared and alone. Also, he was wrong about my diagnosis, so as sweet as he is, I'll avoid him in the future.

I sure hit the jackpot when I chose her. I am a voracious researcher when it comes to my health. I would present a list of tests I wanted her opinion on as to whether or not they would help to rule out why my symptoms where chronic. She explained which were or were not appropriate and why. She actually takes the time to discuss everything. It's very important for me to have female doctors as I have learned that I need that special rapport for illnesses unique to women, and the empathy they usually express. She helped me greatly throughout the 5 years I lived in her area and continued to drive to her after I moved. On one such visit, I mentioned I wanted to stop taking opioids (morphine), and that I was looking for help. She wrote out an entire schedule for me to taper off the medication, and prescribed other meds to ease the withdrawal symptoms. *I was dependent, but I was not addicted so I was able to do this on my own. I was successful, thanks to her guidance and support. Another lovely instance is when she stopped in to check in on me while I was in Henry Mayo hospital after having emergency surgery for a fractured humerus. Imagine my shock and delight to see my own doctor visiting me. Priceless.
