We have to give my son this yucky medicine everyday and he was telling my kid the great news that he gets a bowl of his favorite ice cream every time he has to take it. This made my son feel relaxed and now we refer to him as Dr. Icecream .... The medicine is working and we are waiting for insurance approval to do a skin test. I have not had a bad experience with the front desk but it's obvious they are slammed so you just have to push and follow through on your own which isn't a big deal to me. I think this man is great with children and that goes a long way in my book. I also don't think the office was dirty at all. The rooms were small but I'm not trying to move in so I'm okay with that too...

Even for a child receiving care, I think it may present a notable magnitude of difficulty to consistently return to clinic. The limited hours at this clinic make it quite difficult to receive allergy shots regularly, only being open during weekdays as above: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. In my mind, this absolutely makes sense for the availability of the physician onsite for consultations or follow-ups, but for the clinic as a whole failing to be more available to simply administer repeat allergy injections, I'm struggling to understand. The care I received was fine, and all the clinicians are pleasant. The physician was swift with the consult, the nurses are quick with administration of treatment, and the front-desk gets the job done. It's worth noting that after an initial consultation and plan to start allergy shots, the shots won't be ready for a significant amount of time. I believe mine were not available until around 5-6 months after my consult. I hope to work out a solution, since I have already paid for the entirety of allergy shots but began working full-time shortly after my treatment was approved. I'll provide an update if we can come to a resolution.

So plan for that. The night before my surgery I had cold feet and he spoke with me at great length to reassure me about the operation. I ended up going through with it and am SO glad I did! The whole procedure went very well. The nurses and staff were so great. He even called me afterwards to check up on me. The only thing is, getting in to see him for a follow up takes forEVER. Bring a good book. A long book. Like, "War and Peace." Because you will be waiting. A very. Long. Time. But he is worth it.

You have to put more solution in your ear and it will soften up and then come back. -I thought the heck with this and went to an urgent care nearby and they flushed out my ear with warm water and patience. So there you go......my experience

Dr. Jacob Offenberger is honestly pretty amazing and his practice is a rarity in the medical world…read more He's a truly skilled, INTUITIVE, and compassionate doctor who loves and excels at his craft as well as helping patients. He respects tradition and has a generally old school approach, yet is completely able to think outside of the box. Where other doctors see a "yep, that's above my pay grade", he sees a challenge to be tackled, thoroughly investigated and resolved efficiently. His bedside manners are also great once you get to know him a bit. I think he is an ENTJ enneagram 2 for reference; we need more doctors like him :) His staff is also incredibly patient, competent, and sweet --his practice is truly dedicated to improving lives. The np supervisor, Danielle is so kind and efficient in her work despite the high volume of patients. She's been so helpful and always manages to squeeze me in when I'm in a pinch. Do not let the no-frills decor and his gruff, straight-shooting demeanor intimidate you. Dr. Offenberger has provided excellent care for my very complex case. He's restored my trust in medicine to a marked degree.

Always got positive feedback. My appointment was 10:30am this morning. I arrived early to fill out paperwork. Receptionist was efficient & pleasant. I was called in at 10:40am. I was shown room & asked few extra questions. The Dr came in. Said "Hello, how are you?" After I said "Fine " he asked why was I there? I showed him Allergy Blood test results and recent blood test that had an allergy marker. Then said I'd been having headache on left side head, He immediately assured me wasn't due to allergy were migraines. "Allergies can trigger migraines but are not the cause" Said if I hadn't had any histamines for a week he'd do prick test which is more reliable than the blood test. Nurse came in and gave me prick test on both arms. She was nice & good at explaining. Said it'd take 20 minutes & I'd go home with results. 10 min after being pricked the Dr came in checked my arms and said "good. 10 more minutes" Exactly 10 minutes later nurse came in and put antihistamine cream on the pricked areas. dr came in & said results were good news. Nothing major. Small reaction to dust mites. Foods all negative. Could eat anything I wanted. Only needed to take Zyrtec when Santa Ana's kick in. Gave me prescription. Smiled , shook my hand & left. Like this guy! He is direct no nonsense efficient. From my experience I don't think he deserves the negative reviews. I'd definitely go back again. Btw, is older medical bldg on corner of San Jose & Balboa (with a light.) Plenty Parking in back lot. $4 ( credit card pay only) for the hour I was there. Elevator to 3rd floor. Wheelchair compliant.

I met immediately with Dr. K (no long wait as so often happens elsewhere) and he went over what he thought was causing my skin rash and prescribed a couple medications to treat the condition. He was very professional and I did not feel rushed at all. He asked if I had any questions and explained things in a very easy to understand manner. We scheduled a follow up appointment in 2 weeks but told me that if the condition improved to just call and cancel that follow up. Dr Amoils was amazing, reassured me, and was on the fence about putting tubes in which was the correct decision. I have also seen him and he fixed my issues immediately. By FAR though, my five-year-old daughter saw him for snoring, possible, sleeping issues, and lots of tantrums. We had seen our Pediatrician. We've seen our dentist and nothing had been solved. Dr. Amoils got an x-ray which showed enlarged adenoids and they were promptly removed. I think only two weeks later. My daughter, no longer mouth breathes or snores and sleep significantly better, absolutely incredible, a small surgery with a massive change. He also has amazing bedside manner, treats my children, as if they were his own. I highly, highly recommend.

I wish I had read the reviews before going here years later. Find a new ENT, you will regret going here.
