I explained that I am itching constantly so she ordered some immune panels because she thought it could be some level of autoimmune disease. The tests came back quite a while ago and yet no phone call. Two of the tests appear abnormal so I called to get results and they said I had to come in for that. I can't. I have a brand new job and can't be absent for the first four months. The receptionist said they don't do telehealth. I couldn't believe it. She wants a separate appointment to go over the lab work. Is it urgent or not? I mean I got about 8 tubes of blood taken out of me. Just tell me the results! Has she even looked at my results? Did she care to let me know what they mean? What are next steps? Never in my life has a doctor refused to call with results. I am still itching like crazy every time my cat gets near me and randomly if I touch a certain plant or my dogs food dishes. My hands will itch like crazy and I have to put lotion on them and take an Allegra. So what's the deal with the immune panel? I now have to call my regular doctor to have them refer me elsewhere. I mean honestly the PA could have cared less about my situation. I will also complain to Anthem. Can't believe they are still referring to a place with this many 1 star reviews.

So plan for that. The night before my surgery I had cold feet and he spoke with me at great length to reassure me about the operation. I ended up going through with it and am SO glad I did! The whole procedure went very well. The nurses and staff were so great. He even called me afterwards to check up on me. The only thing is, getting in to see him for a follow up takes forEVER. Bring a good book. A long book. Like, "War and Peace." Because you will be waiting. A very. Long. Time. But he is worth it.

You have to put more solution in your ear and it will soften up and then come back. -I thought the heck with this and went to an urgent care nearby and they flushed out my ear with warm water and patience. So there you go......my experience

He respects tradition and has a generally old school approach, yet is completely able to think outside of the box. Where other doctors see a "yep, that's above my pay grade", he sees a challenge to be tackled, thoroughly investigated and resolved efficiently. His bedside manners are also great once you get to know him a bit. I think he is an ENTJ enneagram 2 for reference; we need more doctors like him :) His staff is also incredibly patient, competent, and sweet --his practice is truly dedicated to improving lives. The np supervisor, Danielle is so kind and efficient in her work despite the high volume of patients. She's been so helpful and always manages to squeeze me in when I'm in a pinch. Do not let the no-frills decor and his gruff, straight-shooting demeanor intimidate you. Dr. Offenberger has provided excellent care for my very complex case. It does not hurt and you get results in 20 minutes. Extremely fast and you get a print out to take home. They also provide allergy shots here as a separate service. The allergy prick test is done in about 4 sections each section is one set of 20 so think 4 separate pokes.

You know how long it takes to prep a new born to leave the house and than the drive - time you don't get back. Both times I was pushed to a provider I'd never met, one of whom approaches vaccine schedules differently than the doctor I specifically chose. You don't pick a pediatrician for a newborn and then accept a random substitute. That's the whole point of picking one. Figured out their office doesn't do its own scheduling. It's handled by a centralized team elsewhere. So the staff in front of you can't fix anything and the people who can are unreachable. It's a disconnected company, and every basic interaction takes triple the effort it should. New parents -- your time and energy are finite right now. Spend them somewhere that can manage a calendar. Look elsewhere.
