Doctor seemed nice and genuine; X-ray occurred the same day and results were available online and instantly. A follow-up appointment was scheduled for 1 month out for a cortisone shot. Fast forward to today; no follow-up call received about the X-Ray in a month's time frame. 1-1/2hr before the appointment scheduled(1month ago), I receive a cancellation of the appointment today, requesting an MRI that was ordered by the doctor. Unsure why this didn't occur within days of the X-ray a or so month ago? Cannot say this place values people's time, or truly cares about patients pain levels or experiences. Tried to contact patient coordinators after receiving the call, no answer. Decided to arrive for my appointment and asked in-person for details. Only apologies, but no explanation from the actual doctor. Will continue to visit larger medical providers and doctors at Sutter Health or Stanford for health care concerns,truly disappointed.

I even brought in a gadget that I found on Amazon that was advertised to help my neck pain and he was able to tell me if it was useful or not (it was not, whomp whomp). If all this wasn't enough, my favorite part about working with Dr. Larry is that he collaborates with the patient for plan of care. He doesn't just tick off boxes on what's next for my treatment options-- he validates my concerns, asks clarifying questions, and then we make a decision together. His approach to patient-centered care goes above and beyond. He's the type of doctor where if I have a question or need help, I can call his office and his team will work together to help me. Office staff gave a financial hardship form to me to fill out 16 months ago. I have had no reply. I get "past due" bills in the mail that have long been paid and calls to billing are never returned. I'm a cancer patient in need of my doctor, otherwise I would have gone long ago. Boomerang needs better management. The care received from the doctors is excellent.

This doctor doesn't provide any value at all. I have been having back pain for the past 4yrs now…read more I'm just going in circle with this doctor and nothing was cure or fix other than milking my medical insurance. We already know what was wrong with my back after the MRI results, which I did my own extensive researched with hundreds of similar cases that I will need a Laminectomy and or TLIF procedure to fix the problem. I told him I need to be referred to a Surgeon. He then again wants me to do another MRI which cost more $$$ in addition to all mounting bills. He recommend to have this unnecessary EMG test which cost $$1400 and he didn't even acknowledge what the results of it when I went to see him. Now I have all this huge bills that I could not make payment because of this useless doctor. The last time he did another epidural steroid injection, it didn't even work and it costed another $6k for that procedure. I think this pain management doctor in my opinion is useless and waste of money.

I have neck and low back issues. He gets me in for injectons pretty quickly. He knows my chart. He is always so very gracious and nice. I highly recommend him to anyone not interested in surgical procedures. He knows his craft very well. I would not go to anyone else!
