If you get the chocolate or banana or coffee ice cream, it is as good as Toscaninis in Cambridge or Havre-aux-glaces in Montréal. In other words, it is really great ice cream. They are big on ice cream with chunks of candy. If you like that, you will be happy and the almond joy and skor are very good. They do need to work on some of their flavors. A lot of the fruit flavors are made with artificial flavoring (banana is an exception) so you have the strange experience of Dairy-Queen-like flavors with excellent texture. Real fruit, please! And none of their flavors are quite as amazing as, say, the Nocciola at Toscaninis. But, I mean, this is Oneonta and their ice cream has stayed consistently excellent. read more

I was hesitant for this place to open so late into the game, but wow am I happy they did! Very friendly staff. The variety of flavors is immaculate. The place is spotless. Prices are fair. Cute out door seating area. I went during their opening weekend and they had a line out the door, but it moved along very quickly. Huge fan of their coffee Oreo flavor, it actually tastes like strong coffee and not just a sugar bomb. The ingredients taste so organic and rich. I went 2 times in 6 days because it was so delicious. I can't wait to go again when we go back to NY next year.
