I had a consultation with a nurse practitioner once a month, which helped me stay accountable. The medication had a few side effects. I used a fiber pill, and divided the dose into two shots a week instead of one big shot which helped with nausea and acid reflux. The staff performed a before and after body scan when I reached my goal. The price is expensive, but worth it. I should have spoken up because this was really wrong to do, but I did get home and change the dressing. Then there is the dog who runs in and out of the exam rooms and waiting room. Cute dog but it is not trained to stay out of areas and to not jump up on people. The dog jumped up on my leg with the wound. I ended up at TMC Wound Care Clinic which is very professional with highly trained staff. He is a bariatric surgeon who no longer practices that, and I am not sure what his training is for wound care.
